  1. I'm so glad they called out all the other movies/tv shows that had done the same thing right at the beginning. I'm not so sure Zeke is reset. The others need him to be a less useful I think.  Also glad that the show called out that they realize he is kind of not the same caliber as the others -  but I love him.

  2. I think some of this is all being over thought.  My version of timeline:

Jessa seems to have gone into labor sometime on Wednesday evening or Thursday morning. This is based on the Instagram pics.  She appears to have had a relatively short labor since bam bam was born Thursday night.

Short labor/large baby:  Utereus doesn't shrink fast enough, Jessa bleeds too much. Supposedly she had stopped by the time the 911 call went through. While 911 call is being placed, baby is cleaned off and passed around at mold house.

After being checked out by paramedics, they determine she needs to be transported to hospital - she travels to hospital in ambulance, bam bam travels with possibly mom and dad.  Jessa is admitted to hospital Thursday night - stays until at least Saturday according to pics posted.

Right now no one knows where Jessa is, or how she is doing.  I didn't see an IV, so I'm doubting Hysterectemy.  I really wish they would just let us know how she is and what happened.

  3. As of yesterday, Jessa was still in the hospital - you can tell that is where most of the baby pics are coming from.  She had to have had a serious problem to stay 2 days.  In the bed sheet picture you can tell she's in pain because she has that bent over "I hurt like hell, but I'm doing this come hell or high water" pose.  Not sure why they just don't tell us what is going on with her.

  4. Just listened to the tape.  I agree, I think Michelle is being overly calm for Jessa's sake.  I don't have the greatest speakers, but I'm pretty sure you can hear Jessa in the background crying and panicking a little.  MIchelle reassures here that the ambulance is coming and explains what she is doing because it sounds like Jessa painickally asks what Michelle is doing (like it hurts).  When asked about the baby though she got way too perky, "oh the baby is doing great" before going back to zombie voice.

Poor Jessa looks exhausted, kind of scared, and a little drugged out

  5. The lime video doesn't bother me, lots of people do that - I mean come on, you don't watch America's Funniest Home Videos?

I don't think JIll is pregnant.  I'm hoping the complications with Izzy scared the bee jeezus out of her.  Hopefully the doctors told her to wait, and she is listening - or Derick is.

  6. I guess I'm the only person who think Tamara didn't nail Rythym Nation? She was no where sharp enough in her movements, and at times you could see her side eyeing to make sure she was doing the right moves.

Alexa got screwed with the dance she was given.  That is in no way an iconic dance (I don't think of Britney having any iconic dance).  I don't think any of the 10 dances deserved them - but think Nick should have got the closest to perfect, Sharna did a great job with choreography, and just completing those Russian things deserves 2 extras points!

  7. I haven't watched at all this year.  Tonight, I stopped in for the last 15 minutes.  I have NEVER cried, or even came close, to crying watching this show.  Man, Bindi's dance had me chocked up. She is an amazing girl. Very upbeat and seemingly genuine. Derrick did a great job on the choreography.  Her face during the dance did a fantastic job in conveying how she actually would have felt if he was her dad.  You could see the concern on Bindi's moms face after the dance.  She was so worried for her daughter and not really caring about camera's and stuff.  Love it. She has done an amazing job raising that girl.

  8. Questions that need to be answered, things we'd like to see in Season 2

    Questions:

What does/did Strand do for  a living

Did Travis cheat on LIza with Maddie

What happened to the teenage kid (he better be alive)

    Why is Travis a pacifist

Why did Strand think taking Nick would be a good idea

    Wish List:

Survivors showing some freaking emotion at what is happening around them

    Survivors sharing information

The chaos of not knowing what's going on

Not a rehash of TWD with wandering and horde fighting

    More encounters with confused/scared people

    More encounters with dead

  9. Strand's house was away from all the other houses, down from the first set of cliffs, about 1/4 of the way from the top. There was a path that Liza and others took.

I thought this is what the whole season should have had in it.  Chaos, emotion, people trying to figure out WTF is going on, having to make hard decisions, packing in a slightly panicky manner.  I liked this episode.  There is  potential. I don't want it to be a rehash of the mother ship, walking around, hordes of zombies.  I do want to see shit hit the fan though.

Nick and Strand can stay - and Salazar, the leads, not so much, though Travis should get more angsty and with the ball at least now.

Loved Salazar leading the horde, hated them leaving the neighborhood gate open, though it looked like from the dog barking that there was already at least one zombie in there somewhere. The soldiers who jacked the car didn't want to be with the army anymore.

Love explaining to Mr Ripley about the Los Angeles river.  Have to agree, every road would have been blocked.

  10. So on board with the Clara's wardrobe thing. During the episode I said "she needs a new wardrobe person."  Put me with everyone who liked this dynamic. This is the first episode I've felt the 2 of them connecting like a doctor and companion should (and that includes her scenes with 11).  I"m gonna say best Capaldi episode so far.  I've been saying since Capaldi's 3rd episode, Donna would be perfect with this doctor.

  11. I heard it as they were humanely killing the people at the "hospital," not the whole area.  Didn't they say they had fenced off 6 square miles?  That's a lot of fence to patrol, but also a lot of stores/houses and various other things.  heck, in one city block of LA you get 5 donut shops, 3 dry cleaners, 7 foreign grocery stores and 35 apartment buildings!  In 6 square miles in any normal town you would have a very wide range of income levels.

  12. Our recording cut out the last few minutes.  Last thing we saw was Doctor telling MIssy to run and holding Clara's head in his hands.  What happened - and I missed the prophecy? This sound is awful, the music and special effects are way louder then the dialogue and I can't hear half the stuff they say.

  13. The vigilante couple kill everyone in the basement, but leave bearded mini man alive?  I call shenanigans ahead.  Also, Miko never tried to move the screen before?  did I miss something, because it didn't seem like it was that big of a deal to move it.
