  1. They really like black/gray exteriors and interiors. I don’t do the mountains so I don’t know if that’s on trend or not. Overall. The place looked great but I don’t do yoga & I doubt anyone I know would do on vacation either. I think we’d be on the deck partying day & night. LOL!!!

So he finally wins because he can keep a straight face during his double entendre pickle ball dialogue? That’s Emmy material!

Actually, he won with his reel about how lonely Eric was living in an empty house. It was a great scene with him and Thornton Kaye.

  3. I don’t care what it is. It’s a power plant & it was ugly. LOL!!!! There is no way I would have bought that house for short or long term. The dog park looked like a cemetery. That house would have been a total hard pass. I know they say buying a home is a good investment but it needs to be a desirable home, too. Nope!

GH won and Frank had all the emotion of a disinterested, unemotional robot.

He said he was extremely nervous but he was a little monotoned during the acceptance speech. Unfortunately, the show won the Emmy which means anything you hate won’t get changed.

  5. I actually don’t mind the OTT Phyllis hat & all. I get they are playing it for the absurdity of it all. I like that Michael is trying to keep both his ladies as friends. That said, I’m not sure if it came down to it who he’d be more loyal to? I guess Diane…..maybe. Susan Walters just pops off the screen with that smile. She looks so happy to be there and I think PB & MS are enjoying it, too.

As I understand it, women of color in the entertainment industry (and in some cases in the regular work force) have historically had to change their hair to get jobs and appear more palatable to white audiences. The character is working in the fashion industry and the actress is also a singer so to me it actually fits that she’s being more creative with her hairstyles. I’m glad she’s pushing outdated boundaries of what audiences consider “acceptable”.

A friend of mine said she didn’t mind it on Paris but that there was so much of it. LOL!!! I actually liked when she wore it short because no woman in daytime had that look. Even the different colors didn’t bother me but I was partial to the yellow look. Anyway, she’s young and she’ll probably have a different style in a few months. She seems like the type person who likes to try different things and I’m sure the hair and makeup people like it too.

  7. Easy for me to say but woulda, shoulda and coulda but Megan should have bet it all. The other two were tied and were fighting it out with their answers and wager. Granted, she had lived a lot of lives during her 6 appearance but this one would have been the real time to be it all. I don’t see her lasting long in the Tournament of Champions. She’s just not as fast enough and isn’t a board bouncer. Time will tell. I’m looking forward to it this season.

  8. I started watching GL around 78ish but more full time 79-80 till the end. It’s was sooooo good until a year or so towards the end. There was such good acting. It was like Broadway everyday. Good times. I miss GL & ATWT greatly.

  9. I was reading Billy Flynn’s Q & A in SOD. My impression was that he would have been fine if they had replaced Marci and Kate with another recast to keep the love story of Chad & Abigail alive. I’m with him on this. I’m sure the death will give him good material to work with but I think they could have a found a perfectly known or unknown actress to continue in the role. Besides who else is Gwen going to hate? LOL!!!!

  10. I knew Aquarius because I knew the Fifth Dimension. So I was very proud of myself with my continual use of useless knowledge.

Ketty never recovered over her Double Jeopardy answer. She really should have only wagered $2000 to stay in step with Megan & Tory. And, the second Double Jeopardy just put her into a tailspin. Bummer! Megan has got to be the luckiest multi winner with the wagers she and her opponents have been posting. That said, a win is a win. She almost seemed embarrassed by it. She has a 5 Day total of $52,002. Most winners seem to have that much in 2 or 3 games but it’s not horrible and she’s a 5 Day winner and eligible for the Tournament of Chamions. Looking forward to tomorrow.

  11. Austrian Oasis Looked great after the renovations were done. Although, I did think there was too much going on with both the dinning table and family room all in one in one room. I guess the footprint didn’t really allow a big kitchen/dinning table in its own space but it still turned out nice along with the fireplace. The bedrooms were kind of small but in theory people aren’t staying there long term and it’s just for vacation purposes. I think the best changes done were the deck and the pergola with the fireplace. The daughter was one of the more emotional people on the show and that was before the renovation even started. LOL!!! I would love to know the renovation cost for this house and all the others. They always talk about the potential rental income but never how much it cost for the renovation and how much (and, how long) it would take to pay the loans off. Granted, that would be kind of depressing to discuss but it is valuable information. Basically, I’m just nosey. They don’t call Mrs. Kravitz for nothing. LOL!!!!

  12. Dark hair and dark mustache Victor looked really good in the rain. Eric Braden was really in his prime there. I’ve been watching Y&R a little before it went to an hour show. I was watching it when Jill (Brenda Dickson) stole Stuart Brooks away from her (real) mother. It was during the my summer vacation because this was before we had a vcr. I remember when the Abbotts arrived (temporary John & Terry Lester) were already there. Then Ashley & Traci showed up. At first, I didn’t like the hour format because they were trying to fill up an hour and it wasn’t  fleshed out enough. After, that got straightened out the Abbotts took over which fans didn’t like because all of the Brooks sister (less Lorie) were written out. Luckily, CBS & the show had Bill Bell at the helm and he figured it all out. The flashbacks were great but unfortunately they had to return home with notBilly there. It was a nice tribute for Eileen & Beth. Eileen Davidson even mentioned in the press to give credit to Brenda Epperson & Shari Shattuck who kept the role going which I thought was nice of her to say.
