I"m ready for this show to be over.  These "pull a storyline out of our asses" episodes are beyond ridiculous.  Time for a series finale.

Seriously. I'm not a hate-watch person, but this is probably the closest I'll get. I just gotta stick it out for another half a season.

This is the only place I go to read other people's thoughts and opinions so I gotta ask, are there many people left watching who actually think these episodes are good and aren't just holding out for the end? I know there are still crazy shippers out there, but besides those nutcakes.

I kind of like Doublemeat Palace. It's just a really funny episode to me.

I love Doublemeat Palace. It's totally off beat and weird but I love that kind of thing. I think it's hilarious.

Bullocks?  Is that what they call balls in the UK?  Just curious.

Spelling mistake as was mentioned. Fixed it!

As for it sounding like a porn parody or whatever else; fair point, I guess, but at least that sounds like something fun as opposed to Lovesick, especially since it's a TV-show so it's obviously not going to be that. Keeps you guessing. IMO.

  4. Here's one I've only heard negative opinions about:

I just don't understand why people are so up in arms about the title of British dramedy Scrotal Recall and calling it the worst thing ever? Because balls are just the worst thing ever and should be shielded from eyes and ears of people everywhere? I think it's a pretty cute title. Yes! Cute! Maybe it's because I'm a gay man I don't see what's so awful about bollocks? But it appears straight guys hate it as well and I'm sure they don't mind them. I just don't understand why everyone is so flabbergasted. So now Netflix hade to change it to Lovesick which is just boring. Nah, I'm gonna keep calling it Scrotal Recall.

Top Gear is a terrific show, and the original is vastly superior to the American version, but BBC America runs it too ... damned ... much.

It's the same (or worse) on BBC Sweden (or whatever the channel is called). Top Gear, Top Gear, Top Gear, QI, Pointless, Top Gear, Top Gear, Graham Norton Show, Top Gear, Rude-ish Tube, QI, Top Gear, Pointless, Top Gear, Top Gear.

That's it for about 90% of the time 365 days of the year. Another 5% is Top Gear 24/7 marathons, and then sometimes you get a treat with something like Fawlty Towers an hour a day for a week. I am totally indifferent to Top Gear and while I love QI and Graham Norton I just don't understand why these are the only shows that are on? Is it THAT difficult to add new shows? Are they too lazy to do it? WHY

  6. Somehow I'd missed (or ignored) the proposal spoilers/promos so Aria slowly walking around the apartment right at the very end of the episode seemed very ominous to me. I was hoping she'd find Ezra dead! "Yessss, show! Do it!!" my brain was thinking. But then that ominous feeling turned out to be true in a more disturbing fashion (holla, Aria) and I vomited instead.

  7. Toby: Rollins is missing. He didn't show up for work today, he's not answering his phone, he's... gone.

Spencer: Do you know where he is?

Did they write the wrong name in the script for that line? I know Spencer is as dumb as the rest of them at this point, but COME. ON.

I've just started the JG season. I'm glad to hear the final stretch is good. If S4 drags me down, that'll give me a reason to keep going.

Season 4 lost me a bit, but season 5 is goddamn great.

My fave scene was Ali slowly walking back to the car, looking at her now-dead creep of a husband with his head stuck in the windshield, lit by the headlights as her hospital gown gently moved with the wind.

The way she so casually strolled around the scene I was half expecting a close up of her with an evil 'Muahaha I planned this all along, bitches' grin plastered on her face, which would make sense on a show that makes no sense.

  10. You know, that wasn't half bad. I can't remember the last time I said that. I actually tensed up a bit when Aria snooped inside Rollins trunk even though I knew she wasn't gonna get caught in an episode 3. I still didn't pay attention to the romance nonsense, but the mystery nonsense was, if not good, at least pretty entertaining for once. Rollins through the front window was even awesome!

  11. I posted this in the LGBT-thread but thought I'd share it here as well:

Has anyone seen this show called Sex & Violence? It's from Canadian OUTTv station which I'd never heard of before. I just stumbled upon it and it's pretty goddamn great. It is very, very liberal with nudity and sex scenes, liberal to the point where I'm wondering if half of it is unsimulated. Straight, gay, lesbian, all kinds of sex, everyone gets to have sex, Olympia Dukakis gets to have a lot of sex. I've never seen so many dicks on display in a TV drama and there is much more male nudity than female. It's about domestic abuse and the cops, social workers, foster parents, doctors and all the people involved in all of this. Men's abuse towards women is of course front and centre and the subject is treated very seriously, but there is some humour sprinkled around as well.

I can't believe I've never heard of this show before. I did search for it and it doesn't appear to have been given a lot of coverage, but maybe I've just been blind to this show. There's been two six-episode seasons and another three episodes are coming out later this year. I'm up to episode 2 season 2 and I'm gonna finish it tomorrow. If you can find it, check it out.

  13. I am so sick is this protagonist stereotype. Pretty Bland White Girl Sweet and Haunted. It's been 268 years of this girl. For the love of horror give us something else!

If there hadn't been a card telling us the year I'd have no clue this was taking place in the 80's. Sleepaway Camp fashion this ain't. For shame!

  14. I love season 1, 3 and 5. I thought the show ended GREAT. I don't think season 2 was as awful as people keep saying and feel it's an exaggeration. Compared to the rest of the show season 2 and 4 aren't up to snuff, but still better than many other shows. But, yeah, as a whole it's a bit uneven season to season but not WILDLY uneven like, i.e, a Ryan Murphy show.

  15. That "creepy" voice from the doll that was under Fake Dead Hanna... I must've laughed for a minute straight. That was comedy gold.

So is Mary Drake and British Guy (I can't even remember, is he Mary's son/Charlotte's sister?) the only A now? Weren't there two A's the last we knew? Why is Keegan Allen still not a regular? He seems to be on the show as much as anyone.
