Next week should be interesting for sure. My thoughts are if Jessica goes next, and then the final 4 sees the elimination of either Sam or Alex, the voters will join together (Sam votes go to Alex, or Alex votes all go to Sam) and one of the chosen two (Caleb/Jeeeeena) will be booted from being in the final two. I see either Sam or Alex in the finale.

Caleb has remained pretty much the same through the whole season for me. Yes, he has a powerful voice and can move on the stage, but that's his schtick and he is "schticking" to it. I think that is what Keith was saying as well, with a bit of sarcastic eyebrow. I see no movement, and it bores. Every week he is the same. I have tried to like him because he probably will be top two however just because you are considered the best of this group, doesn't mean you will make it out there. Jena is powerful but it's wrong and warbly at times, but somehow everyone fawns over this. Go figure. Alex is an artist, Caleb is not. That's the way I see those two and I am hoping they make top two and go against each other. Alex has longevity if he keeps going the way he is, Caleb will be a performer at country fairs and maybe in a vegas show. Jessica had a better night, and probably bought another week, CJ I feel is going home. Sam is just a joy to watch as a young kid having an adventure of his life. He won't win. I wonder though when he leaves if all his votes will go Alex's way and this may boot someone out such as Jena or Caleb as a shocker. Just saying. Caleb had a chance last night to show his stuff and he didn't. He just "performed" like he is programmed to, and refuses to use the opportunity to go for growth and creativity. That's why Keith said that IMO.

This. Also, I really got the vibe from him that he is working the "cougar vote". By saying with a gleam in his eye: just working the baby face or just giving them the baby face, and the going to make some old ladies cry comment, well that just made me feel it even more. He seems to feel that he has the demographic figured out, as if they were ladies to be played. I'd like to see him in ten years. Actually we won't see him in ten years.

oh goodness. I don't think CJ would have said that. And I won't even explain why. Most of you will know what I mean.

Don't the judges look spiffy on Results night? I like it. The group for the most part looks like a sweet bunch of kids. If Caleb or Jena win, I think they will be disappointed that the world won't worship at their feet though. The aftermath when this show ends will be sobering for them once the glory stops. That's the only thing with this show that makes me feel sad for them all. I hope they stay grounded and don't believe the hype. It's all tinkerbells and fairy tales now with the cameras and the catering every week but once that ends they will disappear like a toot in a windstorm. There has been no big waves from this show in years.

Wouldn't it be funny if Caleb's mom and dad actually got up there and apologized to everyone for their son's attitude towards everything? If we are going for apologies, that would certainly be funny. Tell me if I am on the wrong foot here but I get the feeling that Caleb is well versed in cougars. He said: Just flashing them my baby face and going to make the old ladies cry. Is that his audience when he is out singing in clubs? Just a vibe I get. It's like he is playing a game and not really singing from the heart as an artist. It's the art of the con.
