  1. Nothing new in this article, but it's always nice to see these kinds of stories about him: http://www.fashionnstyle.com/articles/36324/20141217/matthew-gray-gubler-8-things-you-might-not-know-about-the-criminal-minds-star.htm Another mention: http://www.bustle.com/articles/52136-9-celebrity-instagram-accounts-that-deserve-as-many-likes-as-kim-kardashians-wedding-photo
  2. Uncle Chuck is incorrect in his assertion that actors negotiate ahead of time and know exactly how big their parts will be in each episode. First of all, most episodes are not written or even mapped out at the time of contracting. Second, there are simply too many examples of actors stating publicly that they had no idea that something was going to happen to their characters until they read it in the script for this to be possible. I've heard actors who have stated that that is how they learned that their characters were being killed off. Third, we know that scripts change constantly. So what was intended at the beginning of the script drafting process is typically not what we see on screen weeks later.
  3. Can anyone tell me what episode MGG will be directing this fall? I haven't seen any news about it. I thought he was directing two again this season.
  4. Maybe it was just my TV, but the lighting in this episode was so bad that I couldn't see most of it. I ended up just listening to most scenes. I know there are ways to light scenes so they are dark and spooky but viewers can see the key parts of the actors and sets and follow the action. Perhaps TG's inexperience as a director caught up with him.
  5. I am waiting for the episode that shows the unsub going free because he or she is caught because the team relies on Garcia's illegal search. I get that sometimes a victim's life is at stake and there is a decision to risk using such info, but the only time I remember the issue being addressed was the episode early on where the soccer player was kidnapped and was being held in the unsub's home. They went in without a warrant and were worried because they would not have been able to use the evidence they found if the girl wasn't there. Because she was, they argued that the girl was in danger and they didn't have time to get a warrant in time to save her life so the search was valid. These days, in almost every episode Garcia looks at people's bank records, medical records, employment records, etc., all without the consent of the person and without a subpoena.
  6. First time I've spoken out loud to my TV screen in a while. When Morgan said he liked JJ better when she was a media liaison, I yelled, "Me, too!" My daughter thought I'd lost it.
