  1. It seems to me that either "the experts" are really bad at their jobs or they are intentionally picking matches that would incompatible and who would create drama and conflict and keep people watching. I think this was a season of good and attractive folks who were just poorly matched. Statistics wise over the seasons "the experts" are doing worse at picking compatible people than occurs in the regular population and regular marriages. That doesn't say a lot for their expertise.
  2. Yes, I think so. The prime object of any TV show is to hook viewers. Drama and chaos will hook viewers more than a smooth sailing match-up will. At least that's my theory. IMO Clint showed more interest in the blond with the cap on in GIna's parlor than he's shown to GIna. Look for a hook-up there.
  3. Did you listen to KSR last Friday? Matt had asked one of his call-in people to watch the show and to call in to let him know if he would have liked to be married to any of the women. She called in and they talked about it but it was obvious that he didn't know how the show worked...he thought he got a choice of the women...and she had actually watched MAFS UK edition on the Thursday night.
  4. HI. I'm new here. I'm a guy who watches MAFS. I happened to find it while channel surfing and thought it was so weird I had to watch. Then I got hooked. Anyway...the reason I signed up here was to post this: I listen to a talk radio show every morning. It's called Kentucky Sports Radio, or KSR. The host is a guy named Matt Jones and they talk about Kentucky sports, sports in general, and other topics.. He mentioned yesterday that he had been recruited for the Nashville season of a show (he) called "Love at First Sight." ( One of the other announcers corrected him on the show's title). So he said that he turned the offer down. Then they got back to him and asked him if he would do it if they paid him. He asked "how much" and he said they told him $5000 and you can still live in Lexington. He still turned them down. I thought this was an interesting tidbit that you guys might like to know about.
