  1. Perhaps playing against Tara and listening to the denigrative comments from her and Joey diminished any sense of humour he had. Those gamers are professionals, just like any other professional they had to compete against (the rowers in one of the first challenges). Tara and Joey didn't seem to appreciate that losing the video challenge because it is out of your experience/comfort zone is no different from losing a physical challenge that is out of your experience/comfort zone (like riding bikes with lots of baskets). They were condescending because they weren't doing well in the task and because they actually do look down on young gamers. The stress may have caused Joey's comments to come out, but they wouldn't have come out if they didn't truly already exist in his thought process. I liked this team at the beginning of the race, but their whining about the U-turns (that they themselves used twice) and their rude comments about the gamers really turned me off them. Have they always been like this or is their edit changing? In her recap, London mentioned something about the camera team "liking" them and that it "made a difference". I suppose it makes a difference to what gets filmed or submitted for editing.
  2. I'm not sure, but I don't think they can U-turn the same team a second time.
  3. The mom and daughter likely U-turned Keith and Whitney because they knew for certain they were behind them on the task. The dentists did the other task, so the mom-daughter wouldn't have known if they were ahead or behind.
  4. I wish they would do away with the guest judges. I'd rather have that extra 10 minutes or so contain some content, or heaven forbid, actual constructive dance critique. I feel as if having the extra judge has reduced the usefulness of the commentaries (to the extent that they were ever useful). I also find the extra dancers very distracting. I think Meryl's team dance looked tighter partly because it was within a contained area. I got the feeling the camera operators weren't too sure where to go next with Charlie's team, which was understandable as it was somewhat of a hot mess. I thought the women's outfits on Charlie's team were hideous. I generally like Val's choreography, but this one seemed distracted, perhaps he had to make some late adjustments for Danica's injury. I am enjoying Maks and Meryl, but I wish he'd stop hanging on her. Half the time it looks like she has two heads. I would like to have heard what Meryl really said to Charlie about getting a 10.
