  1. Emily in Paris is on Netflix. Sebastian Maniscalco stand-up comedian, touring. Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story is in theaters September 21 and September 25. The Golden Bachelorette will be on ABC beginning Wednesday, September 18.
  2. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has eight episodes and is playing now on Hulu. Agatha All Along is a TV mini-series premiering on Disney Plus on September 18. (Disney owns and operates both Hulu and ABC, among others.)
  3. I started watching GMA during the Olympics because The Today Show was one long promotion for same. I previously watched CBS in the morning. Wish I had access to other morning news shows. News being the operative word, which is the thing all the networks seem to lack.
  4. I watched Ana’s speech in YouTube because PBS did not carry it live. Was disappointed that it was so short but her delivery and message were excellent. Signed, Always wondering what part of Ana is republican
  5. Unstable is a half-hour sitcom premiering on Thursday, August 2 on Netflix. The View will be all reruns after this so: enjoy!
  6. Today NBC interrupted The Today Show because Kamala Harris was speaking at the White House. The substitute anchor woman spoke through just about the entire segment. I was channel surfing to see if I could catch any of Kamala words, but ABC had nothing and CBS was doing mostly the same thing. Why cover a conference or a speech or a current event and not let the event speak for itself?
  7. Should be an active Monday at the table. I eagerly await Sunny’s decision about who she thinks should be on the ticket as vice president. Duh. I wonder if anyone will suggest that Biden resign now (for health reasons?) so that Kamala can be prez.
  8. I think that Sunny may be projecting her own indignation onto other women when she says they won’t vote if Kamala is passed over. There are a lot of people who do not recognize Kamala as an accomplished politician and who would never vote for her even if they acknowledged such. Dems need to be more strategic than a mindless bump to whoever is next in line.
  9. Lady in the Lake is a seven episode miniseries series on Apple TV beginning Friday, July 19. My Spy the Eternal City is a movie that will be released Prime video on Thursday, July 18. Lucky 13 Is a prime time game show on ABC beginning Thursday, July 18. Twisters Is a movie that will be released in theaters on Friday, July 19. The second season of UnPrisoned premieres Wednesday, July 17 on Hulu.
  10. (I use Firefox to access the Internet on my iPhone 15. Although my problem has been occurring since I began reading this website, I am currently running the iOS 17.5.1 and pop-up ads are blocked) As I scroll down further and further through The View or other forums on PRIMETIMER, my iPhone display will freeze for a moment. Then my display goes back to the top of the page I am reading. When I start quickly scrolling back down to where I was reading, I again get “thrown up to the top of the page.” I sometimes notice that the page I am reading is still loading (and taking forever) which seems to perhaps coincide with multiple ads in little boxes playing videos (that I do not want to see.) These little video ads change topics/products/recipes or whatever they are and these changes in ads disturbs the loading of webpage, I think. Even on this fully loaded page, as I am writing this Reply, I have thrice been tossed out of this Reply box and returned to the previous page. When I click in the Reply box, my unfinished Reply is (thankfully) available to for me to continue writing and editing. This “throwing me up to the top of the page” problem often occurs at another large website with multiple forums and video ads in small boxes, UExpress, but does not occur at Reddit which had multiple forums but no video ads. I’m thinking maybe the problem is Foxfire or maybe my Internet is taking too long to load a page or maybe the video ads reloading is reloading the entire webpage. I just don’t know. This “throwing me up to the top of the page” is frustrating, and I am relieved that it is being given some attention. Thank you for showing an interest.
  11. As she recently released her electors, I would like the panelists to again discuss Nikki Haley’s ongoing endorsement of a man she formerly stated is “not qualified to be president of the United States.
  12. I also noticed that picture of NATO leaders was an awful lot of men. My thought was how overall it's still a man's world I also notice the male-dominated NATO photo. My first thought was: let’s put their wives in a room to work out world problems. My second thought was: let’s put their daughters in a room to work out world problems.
  13. I think Biden may have been overly prepped with statistics et al in that he had much to say and couldn’t decide where to begin. This happens to everyone but is more evident when time is limited. He could have made columns on his paper with headings about the lies that Trump would be telling and just make little checkmarks during each remark. Then he could say, “you lied about XYZ” and move on with his substantive response. As Meghan McCain frequently said, “if you are explaining, you are losing.” So did Representative Jasmine Crockett (D) Texas, on I can’t remember which news broadcast, yesterday but we need to see both her and Liz Cheney back at The View table. (Also, I love this website but why is it so glitchy? It routinely throws me up to the top of the page…Watch my comment get deleted.)
  14. I was away from the television this morning at 9:50 AM when, after a commercial break, I heard a female voice ask someone to please be quiet while they were introducing the exercise segment. Can anyone tell me who said this to whom? I’m really curious.
