  1. My husband always wears a hat, and always takes it off at a restaurant. It goes next to him on the seat in a booth, or on the chair next to him when we're at a table. Never on the table. Ick.

He really thinks he's trendy with the srichicha sauce, doesn't he? Poser.

Hold up, wasn't Austin's wife trained in homemaking skills in one of the preeminent bastions of knowledge for learning those traditional skills in the 21st century?  Surely he must be eating well balanced, supremely nutritious, homecooked meals that would help him stay fit, particularly with his active, manly lifestyle?

With a nice green salad and fresh baked bread.

  3. I'm glad we eloped too. I was never one to daydream about my wedding either. I grew up with girls who did. Obsessively looking through wedding magazines (yes, magazines. I'm old) and picking their favorite dress. I've never been a dressy girly girl. I hate dresses.

The weddings I've been to have all been fine, save one. My older stepdaughters. Enough bullshit there to fertilize 40 acres..

    @Scarlett45 what a handsome pupper you've got there. ❤️

There's an interesting recap of someone's encounter with the Duggar kids a few years back here. Some tidbits: Josh was an ignorant, cocky ass, and Joseph could barely write his own name.

That "signature" is so sad. Poor kid probably has a learning disability which will never be diagnosed or get any help.

Topic? I wonder if they will cop a plea deal for Josh or let it go to trial.

SunnyBeBe, no there was no line, but the only octane available was 87.

Any car will run fine on that, even if it usually gets a different octane.

Hope the gas situation gets sorted soon. My heart goes out to all of you affected.

I'm fully vaxxed and so is my husband. We're going to continue to wear our masks as we have been for the time being.

Jon turned the TB over to Josh to run for a string. Despite having been recruited as a desperately needed "relief" skipper, he apparently had never bothered to sit behind the wheel up to that point, until Jonathan basically announced he was doing it.  He pulled up so far off the bag that Freddie missed it with the hook. They joked that Freddie hadn't missed in 20 years until Josh was driving.

Freddie really tried. He really threw it.

And yet they didnt consider their own son molesting his sisters, repeatedly, a scandal at all. To quote JB & Mechelle, "It was no big deal".

    Go figure.

Well they think it happens in all families, or most families, so that could be part of it. Bunch of sick people.

  8. The only place that does grocery delivery where I live is Walmart. I used it last year when we couldn't go to the store in person. Not too many complaints, but for some stupid reason they fill the order out of a store that's further away and doesn't have stuff in stock, rather than filling it from the new one nearer that's got stuff. We were having to go to the other store anyway to get what was out of stock. So we went from having then deliver to doing pickup. Because they fill it out of the new store and it's been right every time. I get email and text messages for any substitutions or out of stock items. Very pleased. It's worth driving for.

  9. I'm really impressed that he stuck with law school and graduated. Next step is to take the bar exam. Hopefully he does well.

Jill looks fantastic in that dress. She looks happy and proud of Derelict. Congratulations to them both. Him being in school wasn't easy for her either.

Waiter: “Tonight we’re offering a lovely locally-sourced bisque made with organically preserved champignon blanc mushrooms blended with cream and a sprinkle of coarsely ground enriched salt. It’s served with classically-prepared crispy flatbread and is priced at $19.”

    Jeremy: I’ll take it!

Chef: Slops can of Campbell’s cream of mushroom into a cup and tosses a few packages of Premium soda crackers on the saucer.

And Jeremy wouldn't know the difference.
