I lent a hardcover to my daughter. When it was returned, the book jacket was missing. I know she doesn’t like them and assumed she just took it off to read. SHE THREW IT AWAY!!! I calmly mentioned to her that it wasn’t hers to throw away and she’s lucky a) it wasn’t someone else’s book and b) that I love her very much 😊

It’s also available on Peacock for a few more days….
Loved the costumes! I really like this cozy mystery series. I like that Goldy and her ex get along like adults. They don’t snipe at each other.

I sometimes don’t get the Connection even when it’s revealed! 😆. Those purple ones can be a REAL stretch. I dislike when there are five words that can be a connection. I then work on the other ones until one of the five is eliminated. Otherwise, I can run out of chances trying to eliminate one. I LOVE when I get the purple connection first.

From TBBT we know that Georgie stepped up when his dad died. Missy was too young and Mary was devastated. So how are they going to spin him and Mandy off? Is there going to be a time jump?

I liked that Profs. Sturgis and Linkletter worked together (for the first time?) on what’s best for Sheldon. And I knew that they would each pick a different school to be the best one for Sheldon!

I discovered TWoP via a recap; Aaron Sorkin had written a horrible episode of The West Wing, "Isaac and Ishmael", and the recapper took it apart practically line by line, pointing out all the factual errors and stereotypes. I thought the recap's length was because there was so very, very much to criticize in that script. When I poked around and read a few more, I was surprised to see, no, they were all that frakkin' long. It's not often I declare a written work too long, but I lost patience with them. If a recapper hated an episode of an otherwise beloved show, and I felt the same way, though, that was fun to read for the snark.
To play Devil’s Advocate-“Isaac and Ishmael” was written and filmed quickly so it could be inserted as a stand alone TWW episode after the 9/11 attacks. So, yes, not a strong episode.
But the snark on TWoP was glorious!

I still have some Fodor’s! Very outdated, but I put notes in them and take them out to reminisce every now and then. I have Googled a few places to see if they’re still around. Some are!

I used to work at the HS cafeteria, which had over 1,000 kids. That’s not how this works…it’s not how any of this works!

What was that (retro-looking) burrito-smelling robot, by the way? I've never seen anything like that.

I liked how Edward just sat with his crossword, didn’t try to “manage” Lexi, knew she had to work stuff out, and knew how to be there for her when she needed him.

I miss the days of jumping on TWOP after a show and having pages of discussion (I started with Gilmore Girls) and just loved analyzing every nuance, then waiting for the recap to be up the next day. And then there were the Jacob recaps!!
And I also love The Amazing Race recaps 😊

Teams must put on their best performance in Montevideo, Uruguay, when they choose between banging out a drum routine with street performers or singing a Spanish tune with professional troubadours at the detour.
Airs 9:30 ET April 24 on CBS.

What I like about The Masters is that I can watch it on Hulu next day if I miss the initial broadcast. When I miss the daily game, I usually have to look at the Archive since The Tube is hit or miss as to whether they have the daily game.

Do we know yet how the Duke will be written out?
I would guess they’ll just mention he’s staying in America…

Besides loving that Elsbeth wears colors, I love her patterns!
Question for those who watched The Good Wife: did Elsbeth carry all those totes when she was on? I should check to see if the library has The Good Wife dvds to watch her episodes. Paramount+ is one of the streamers we don’t subscribe to…
eta: The library has them! And The Good Fight too!

Either the show is teasing us or this is how Georgie gets a job with his new father in law and becomes the tire king. Maybe they'll find a way to deal with Georgie so he doesn't get in too much trouble.
Or maybe something will happen with the job with his FIL and he’ll go work for a rival tire company… 🤔

I sure hope so. It is just a wonderful, light-hearted comedy/drama with such talent and it’s on my weekly watch.
Yes! I’m so tired of the L&O, CSI, FBI, Tracker, Equalizer, etc….
