She got rid of Hannah in retaliation for the cabin change thing. The timing says it all. She only went to management after Hannah refused to change cabins. She knows Sandy has a twinkle in her eye for her and used it like she used sleazing up to her boss in the past to get a promotion.

Of course it was payback when Malia reported Hannah. Otherwise she would’ve told Sandy straight after the panic attack. But she didn’t. It was straight after the cabin swapping argument.
