  1. The Innocence Project seems like a wonderful organization, and Emily did an eloquent job of explaining some of the issues with the criminal justice system in this country. Her explanation/participation with this organization seems to be out of line with the politics/politicians she tends to support -- but okay!
  2. I was thinking the same about Jenn and Eddie! Could they just do a switcheroo?
  3. Finally catching up on this season now, so I'm late to the party with some questions: 1 - How has Gina's Long Island accent only become more pronounced after years of living in SoCal? 2 - Is anyone else now shipping Jenn and Eddie? Just me? Hum de dum..,
  4. True. But Boz landed right in it. She was at the wrong place at the wrong time at Sutton's Surrealist party. I think Boz was being polite and trying to establish rapport with one of her new friends co-workers without having the benefit of knowing anything about Dorit or her current situation, which was making her extra needy, clingy, and more verbose than usual. Boz probably thought they were bonding and Dorit was like "Yeah! A new ear to bend." She has been Dorit's captive audience every since. I just want to be clear that I merely quoted the above (from dbell1) -- I did not post it. I am firmly on the team, "All of them are the wrong screaming harpies to back."
  5. Genuine question, but is there a right one? All of these people are terrible. The c-word is awful. I would label it a slur. I don't think it's humorous to call a woman that. That said, in the original clip, Dorit was clearly not actually calling Camille the c-word. She was very obviously (drunkenly) saying it in jest. It's interesting that Camille is doing almost exactly the same thing Kyle is doing with the "Which Hilton sister do you like best?" answer, which is to dredge up a moment that was clearly said in jest, and which the recipient didn't really care about at the time, and then decontextualize it and use it as ammunition against Dorit. Hmm.
  6. Right, I think Lisa and Bronwyn were friendly before Bronwyn came on the show, but not close (ala Dorit and Teddi, IYKYK). So, I agree with this to some extent. I loathe Lisa due to her behavior on this show, as well as her ideology off the show which is beyond the scope of this board. But, it's not like she and Bronwyn were bosom buddies, and I think Bronwyn came on the show expecting too much from Lisa! I was on Lisa's side (*throws up in my mouth a little*) during Bronwyn's histrionics about the rooms. Bronwyn needs to simmer and settle with the "You must always have my back!" tirades. That said, it's not just that Lisa hasn't been save-a-hoing Bronwyn. She's been actively poking at Bronwyn throughout the season. Like calling Heather by the side of the pool on Bronwyn's trip. And complaining about the coach accommodations that Bronwyn (or production-- but within the narrative of the show, it's Bronwyn) provided. And saying inappropriately nice things about Bronwyn's daughter's grandparents, when these are people who abandoned Bronwyn's daughter. And, perhaps most egregiously, suggesting that maybe Todd's cheating was Bronwyn's fault. I don't know how much of this is purposefully targeted at Bronwyn and how much of this is just Lisa not being a good person, but I do understand why Bronwyn's upset. I don't think she should reasonably expect Lisa to always have her back, but I think she's allowed to be upset that she's not being treated with a baseline level of respect.
  7. Oh, I think Bronwyn seems incredibly insecure. The oversized personality, fashion, airport visits in the furry costumes, etc. seem like the mark of someone either incredibly secure or incredibly insecure with herself, and in my opinion Bronwyn seems like the latter. I get a very "LOVE ME, EVERYBODY!!" vibe from her.
  8. Britani and Bronwyn are like the Goofus and Gallant of first-season RHW. "Goofus clumsily brings every conversation back to herself." "Gallant organically becomes part of the drama, and strategically deploys bits of personal information."
  9. Sorry I'm late to the party as I just started watching this show (just finished season one and am hooked!), but was it ever explained why Sam can't sleep in her own childhood room?
  10. Look, I am all for Kyle getting called out on her bullshit, but by DORIT, of all people? In a sequence of events that makes Garcelle look petty and obnoxious? That’s not how this is supposed to happen! That’s not how any of this is supposed to happen!!!!
  11. There's a lot to unpack in this episode, but first and foremost, why is there a large blender filled with nacho chips in the Marks family's kitchen?
  12. Meredith getting upset on Britani's behalf and kicking Angie out of the party was giving "Samantha Jones looking for any excuse to lay into Lainey at the baby shower and screaming, 'You bitch! Let's go!' when told that Lainey stole Charlotte's super-secret baby name" energy.
  13. The wine at the Mormon event combined with the boobs out at the bat mitzvah lead me to believe that Angie is a little dim when it comes to respecting other people's religions.
  14. He said he did it willingly, but he thought he was just going to find out about his roots more generally. Then Lisa went the extra mile and started locating relatives.
  15. Hold up, I’m going to say something positive! 😂 Electra and Henry both seem like sweeties, and I love that they were both into the snake. Now, back to the snark… Lisa trying to find her husband’s birth family without running it by him first is WOW. Holy narcissism.
