  1. It's new episode tonight, with Chris Wallace and Wilmer Valderrama as guests.
  2. Loved the animated segment. Any animation that includes Ted Cruz and Marjorie Taylor Greene being dropped hundreds of feet from a sleigh is awesome in my book (love how those parts were the only parts audience cheered for, lol). Also, Ted Cruz's eyes look like CBS logo, which I doubt is accident.
  3. What's weird is, they had a taping on Thursday. There were tickets posted on 1iota, and a guy on Late Show subreddit mentioned going to the taping. I've asked him for some details, but so far he hasn't replied.
  4. Probably this: Charlamagne Tha God’s Late-Night Show Will Be Produced by Stephen Colbert From the article:
  5. There are rumors going on Twitter saying that she had onion in her towel, and that she wasn't really maced. On one hand, the thing in her towel does kinda look like an onion, but on the other hand, I find it hard to believe someone could be that stupid. Article: Bizarre theory about item wrapped in towel of viral Trump supporter
  6. Here's the Vanity Fair interview mentioned in the article: “Look At What We Love. It’s on Fire”: Stephen Colbert on Trump Trauma, Leadership, and Loss It's a great interview and it's kind of a shame that most other sites seem to focus on his vertigo issue, like that's the only important thing to learn from the interview.
  7. For me, this is the most interesting part of the article from that tweet: Anyway, I can't wait.
  8. I loved the outro music, too. Yeah, I have to agree with this. It was nice hearing his wife giggle in the background, though.
  9. He's off next two weeks. At the end of the episode he said that he will no longer tape the show at home, but he also won't be going back to Ed Sullivan Theater. He didn't explain where they will tape it then.
  10. As great as that story is, my favorite is still Stephen's story about meeting his (now) wife for the first time. I love how he gets so into the story, like he's reliving it again. It's so cute. Here's the video of him telling that story (it's a Facebook video, because for some bizarre reason they never uploaded it to YouTube).
  11. The funniest thing is, that same interview aired on Conan's show, and the lyrics weren't censored. You can watch it here (Dylan part starts at 11:15 into the video). Kinda makes me wonder if there's more to that story.
  12. The Late Show will return on Monday, March 30th.
  13. There also won't be new shows for at least next 2 weeks, according to Colbert.
  14. Well, this is interesting... I wonder what's it about. 🔽 Colbert, Fallon, Meyers, Kimmel, and Conan Are Advertising Special Guests for Thursday, August 8 Episodes
  15. Stephen Colbert’s ‘Late Show’ To Air Live After Dems’ First Two-Night Debate In June (26th and 27th)
  16. Colbert has hosted Star Wars Episode IX panel earlier today. The event was held in Chicago (the video is here, if anyone is interested, but you should skip to 19 minutes mark, when the event actually starts). And on Sunday he will be in London to moderate Becoming: An Intimate Conversation With Michelle Obama in promotion of her memoir, Becoming Michelle Obama. As a result, Monday's show will be rerun. Edit: Actually, Monday's show will not be rerun. From CBS Press Express, the guest are: Molly Shannon; Gary Cole; musical performance by Paul Simon; Flipped interview with Trevor Noah.
  17. So far two, Kirsten Gillibrand and Eric Swalwell, according to this article.
  18. The show was supposed to go live, but since SOTU address was rescheduled, so was the live show. They will go live on February 5, following rescheduled SOTU address.
  19. Full, 30 minute long interview with Lady Gaga is now posted on Late Show's Youtube page. I don't really follow Lady Gaga, but I absolutely loved this interview. One of the best interviews Stephen did recently. Not really a bummer, since it's very likely his/her performance was pre-taped earlier. For the last few months, Late Show will occasionally post tickets for something they call "Comedy Hour". It's very likely they are pre-taping stand-up performances which then air later as part of the Late Show episodes. It's why you usually never see Stephen and whatever comedian is that night's performer together anymore.
  20. I loved that. I like Last Week Tonight, but I'm hoping Late Show wins next year.
  21. If I have to guess, I'd say he just said screw it. It's not like he bothered to ask for permission the first time he did his character. I'm just wondering if he's going to get another letter from Comedy Central lawyers.
