At one point while Che was cooking something very hot and was clearly trying to concentrate on what he was doing, Aaron stood there across from him, babbling on and on about something inane. Che burnt himself, and Aaron just kept babbling. Che was polite about it, but if it had been me, I know I would have blurted out a few expletives.
As for "unctuous," in Catholic tradition there was a sacrament called "Extreme Unction" which was an anointing of oil by a priest for someone whose death was imminent. So it's a bad choice of words when trying to describe something tasty or pleasant.

I missed the beginning of this episode where they tell us the patient's traumatic backstory. Would someone please fill me in?

I also disagree with Lola's advice to confront the person, especially a parent, who "done 'em wrong" in their childhood. If their relationship is a good one currently, all the confrontation does is put the parent on the defensive and they're likely to react badly, which doesn't help. And what if that parent has passed away? I think the idea mentioned earlier of writing a letter without sending it would be a better choice in a lot of these cases. I am no expert, though.

I was afraid that if they had asked Luke first if he wanted to stay married or get a divorce, he would have said he wanted to stay married, and then Kate would have agreed. But because she went first, he had to save face and say he also wanted a divorce. He looked perturbed, though.
Good job, Kate. I'm proud of you.

I'm getting old and my memory isn't what it used to be. When does Colton introduce his top picks to his family? Did it already happen? Are they skipping it this season? I'm so confused!

I was rather surprised when Colton gave Kirpa a rose during their 1 on 1. I thought she was kind of boring and definitely got the impression that she wasn't even interested in him.
Hannah G is so beautiful and I'm hoping she'll be the next B-ette. Although it makes me wonder how she could possibly still be single.

Could someone please enlighten me about Cassie? What did she do on the first show that was special and unique? Why did some of the girls make comments tonight about Colton being really enamored with Cassie? We saw nothing of that in any of the episodes before tonight. He said he always feels at ease when he's with her. When did this happen? And as someone else already mentioned, she really isn't that pretty. (I think Hannah G is.) And did Hannah G get a one-on-one with Colton? I know she got the first impression rose, but did they have a date yet?

I think there is something to be said for being against abortion. After all, the state of New York now allows abortion up to the baby's day of birth. Other states are soon to follow. That is what sickens me.

I don't understand why the girls get so excited when their name is called for a group date. Being picked for a group date means you aren't getting a one-on-one. Besides, the group dates on this show are usually lame and embarassing for the most part.
I wonder why it seemed like, in episode 1, Catherine was set up to be this season's villain, but then that honor went to Demi in episodes 2 and 3.

Out of the thousands of men who tried out for this season, why in the world did these three clowns pick AJ? I suppose they think he's good TV. I definitely would pull a Heather on this trainwreck and then sue the show for wasting my time.

Why would Shawniece wear a bustier if she didn't want any sexual attention from Jephte? I do hope they'll be good parents to that sweet baby.

In the intro to the show each week, "Pastor" Cal mentions that they matched 21 couples since the grand experiment began, and only five couples have remained married. Well, what does that tell you "experts?" That's a whopping success rate of 23.8%. I'm kind of surprised he would admit that. They ought to be embarrassed.
If Shawniece and Jephte don't manage to stay together, that will bring it to four. And things don't look too promising for Bobby/Danielle or Anthony/Ashley, for that matter.

I agree with this and I think it's rather awful of the show when they exploit people's real pain in order to create drama. They did the exact same thing to Colton by dragging Becca onto the show just to mess with his emotions. Shame on tptb.

Someone please 'splain something to me. In the beginning of the episode, it was two people, a guy and his girlfriend, who accidentally ran over the already-dead woman. Next thing you know, it's just a guy all by himself telling his story to Kenda. No mention of the girlfriend, no reference to her the entire rest of the episode.

I was wondering why none of these contestants are using those gill nets that a lot of them used in the earlier seasons. They worked rather well for some of them, as I recall.

I was hoping the new season's contestants would include the ones from this season who wanted to stay but their partners wanted to/had to tap out way too early, like the guy whose partner tried to b.s. him into believing he needed to be home for his kid's birthday, and the one who had to leave when his severely injured partner had to be airlifted from the woods before he could make it to camp.
