John is not you and may not ever demonstrate the inner strength that you possess. Your life groomed you to the person you are, and his life is on a different inner strength path. Ronnie, pull from your strength to defeat your urges to eat unhealthy foods. The weight is holding you hostage in your own body! Defeat the food demon of your past. It can happen, I know, I am a gastric bypass winner. I am cheering for both of you. All things being equal, your mother is living in her world and day. She doesn't know how to exist in your new world. It's up to you to let her exist there. You have choices!
