  1. In 1990 Jim Sanborn created a large, copper puzzle sculpture, that resides outside of the CIA headquarters. It's called "Kryptos". Three of the four parts of the puzzle have been deciphered, while one part remains. In 2010, Sanborn gave a clue as to what part of the remaining puzzle is deciphered as. The remaining part is: "OBKR UOXOGHULBSOLIFBBWFLRVQQPRNGKSSO TWTQSJQSSEKZZWATJKLUDIAWINFBNYP VTTMZFPKWGDKZXTJCDIGKUHUAUEKCAR" He said that the "NYPVTT" part, when deciphered, translates as "BERLIN". I wonder if the show is trying to play off this real-life "Berlin" puzzle clue that resides outside of the Central Intelligence Agency for the United States ?
  2. Red can still be a relative of her, or perhaps have had her under his care at some point. She is seemingly collateral for someone in Red's past that needs to be monitored and controlled, but not killed. My guess is she serves a purpose to the organizations involved in her life and that her position as a g-man makes her valuable. She is an asset for at least two oganizations: Alan Aldas organization, and Berlin. Red knows Alda's org, but not Berlin.
