Here’s the thing, though... if I take away all the Christianity stuff, I really do just see two sweet, happy boys. They both seem to enjoy singing the songs, Jessa lovingly compliments Spurgeon, who then lovingly repeats the compliment to Henry. They seem relaxed. Henry doesn’t seem pressured to participate any more than he wants to and is thumbing through a secular board book while he sings (Eric Carle). Maybe the bar is low, but when I look at the Duggar offspring and their parenting, I am mostly just happy when I see clean, well loved, relaxed, non-terrified seeming children, and that’s how I always see Jessa’s boys. I’m a non-Christian and borderline anti-religion all together. I ignored her caption and actually enjoyed this video.

I have been supporting Voices of Service because their first audition was so beautiful. I actually think they would benefit from another completely a cappella performance with beautiful harmonies, as opposed to going bigger and bigger with backing tracks and backup choirs.
I liked Sophie better than usual tonight, especially compared to G Force and Ansley. I really liked Luke and, of course, LOVED Kodi.

She’s live right now finishing up cooking dinner. She does look pregnant, but then again, so would I in that outfit, as a mom who had two kids and likes carbs. 😂

I hope that if she does want to get pregnant again quickly and succeeds, people don’t judge her for that choice. It is possible to grieve a loss and still move forward to have a much wanted living child. There can be comfort, too, in having a child after a loss and realizing that you wouldn’t have had that particular child without having had the loss. It can help make sense of the whole horrible situation.

I think she’s blonder again in the new non-hat photos, so I’m thinking she just got dark roots really quickly and covered them until she could get her hair dyed again.

My sister lost a pregnancy around 18 weeks. She was having a healthy pregnancy and receiving proper prenatal care. She had been to a regular prenatal appointment two weeks prior and wasn’t due for another one until her 20 week anatomy scan. She only found out earlier because someone had given her a home fetal heart monitor as a gift, and she went from being able to find the heartbeat to not being able to find it. She truly thought she was being paranoid when she made the appointment to have her OB check for the heartbeat, because she figured it was just an issue of the home monitor not being a real, professional medical device. Instead, her ultrasound at the OB revealed than the fetus had died in utero. She had to be induced and go through labor before delivering her deceased baby. It was absolutely brutal, as this was a much wanted pregnancy. I feel horrible for Joy, having seen this situation in real life. It’s gut wrenching, because you can’t just get the news and start to grieve. You still have to go through the pain of delivery.
In my opinion, this is not a time to search for reasons why it might have been Joy’s fault. Chances are, it was random. These things happen.
In addition to Lauren’s insensitive babbling, if the family has known for a week, I can’t help but be irritated by Jinger and Jeremy’s self absorbed posts during that time. It’s one thing for Jessa to still post a photo of her newborn, but Jinger and Jeremy have constantly posted glamorous, gratuitous “L.A. lifestyle” photos, as well as 1847373 random pictures of Felicity. It seems insensitive during their sister’s extremely tragic and painful loss. This is the type of loss I would expect Jinger to even fly back for, but at the very least, she could take a hiatus from hat pictures.

I think she will pick a three syllable name that can be shortened to match Kynzie and Dithy. My guesses are Madelyn (Lynnie), Makayla (Kaylie), or Maryanne (named after Grandma but they’ll call her Annie). Spellings may vary. LOL 😂

It could be a nighttime pull-up/diaper. My older son daytime potty trained easily, but it took much longer for his brain/body to be able to stay dry overnight.

I can only love this, aside from the reference to Michelle. No snark from me on Jessa as a mom. I believe she truly cherishes her children.

I’m actually really disappointed, because I allowed myself to get excited about the idea of a male dancer without a traditional dancer body still doing a serious, non-joke performance with a level of talent high enough to get Juliette’s golden buzzer. Instead, it was just another silly stereotype.

I truly feel bad about Lauren’s miscarriage, but I can totally see her doing a B name, and then C, D, etc. after that, just so she will have as many opportunities as possible to talk about Asa when someone asks why she started the alphabet of names with B instead of A.

Josh is disgusting, but Anna looks very pretty in that picture.
Interestingly, Jana wished her a happy birthday via Instastory and referred to her as her best friend, which is not a vibe I’ve ever gotten from the show or social media.

There’s been some talk of it being weird that Jessa gave birth in a dress, but I’m almost positive she was wearing a birthing gown, like this one on Amazon. It has buttons down the back like a hospital gown and buttons on the front for breastfeeding access.

My guess is that she didn’t like it as much as she had hoped she would and quickly went back to get it toned down to whatever lighter brown with a goldish tint she’s got going on now.

in America's Got Talent
Can someone explain to me how Dom’s beer trick was even a trick? I just assumed that huge beer glass was attached to something in the whole big set it was on that emptied it at the touch of a button. There was nothing about it that seemed like an illusion. The set was also so big and bulky that it would have been super easy for someone to sneak out to the white board and add Simon’s guess while it was still turned away from the audience. It just didn’t seem like a magic act at all.
