  1. THIS was the comp to have the night Caleb sat down and refused to participate.  Frankie was able to win that task solo.  He wouldn't have been able to with this one.  LOL

Isn't their any crew who know first aid? It seems like the house guests have to help each other out in these medical situations instead of having staff with first aid/EMT training to assist in emergencies. One thing that Survivor does much better.

I'm sure they do have crew that can help.  BB is just SOOOO determined not to let viewers see that the hamsters interact with anyone other than the players or DR.

Jasmine starts talking about her injury again, because because. With some musing about her HoH room tossed in for variety. But it’s all about Jasmine. It really is going to be a long week.

Raven 2.0?  What will happen to reignite everyone's sympathy once this disaster starts to fade?

Aside from douche-y Monte, I can get behind the winners.  Michael knocked out Pooch, Taylor beat Alyssa (whom I do like, as well), Joseph beat Indy, Ameerah beat Brittany (whom I also like, but still . . .), and Jasmine beat Terrance (I like him, too, but . . . seriously, he's not winning these challenges).

I missed Kyle and Turner, though.  Who won there?

    Kyle

  4. I echo the sentiments of others that Klaus is the best character in the show.  He's such a lovable, clueless dufus.  Though every so often he has an epiphany and it's nice to see.

Diego's stock with me rose dramatically this season.  In the first 2 seasons he was little more 'take names and kick asses' 24/7.  We saw him soften and change.  I didn't like Lila last season, but I enjoyed her interactions with Diego, as f'ed up as they were.

Third on my list is Five.  I think, though, that it's just my appreciation for the job the actor did with the role.  He did an amazing job (in his mannerisms and carriage) of representing a 50+ year old man trapped in the body of an adolescent.  Once he and Lila got past that first fight, I really enjoyed his relationship with her.

I liked this season.  For me, it was about the Umbrella kids.  The Sparrow kids were little more than a plot device for Umbrella to work against.  It had its flaws (ruining Allison's character being the greatest), but I watched it with great enthusiasm and am hoping for a 4th season.

I don't think it was 89 because there is a QR scan code on the window next to Ben, though that could just be anachronistic and of that timeline.

Did anyone else try to scan the QR code to see if it was something relevant to the show?  I did.  It wasn't scannable, at least with the app I used.

Seriously on the Anthony Anderson episode, he couldn't help out his overworked ER trauma nurse brother with no working heat and other serious home issues unless he could do it publicly on TV!

Or if the place is in such pitiful shape, buy him a new house, fer cryin' out loud.

I think the Third Sister was the Youngling in the flashback. Calling it now.

Rewatching now...  There were 5 younglings in the group that ran.  She's called 3rd sister.  Another is referred to as 5th brother.  You may be right.  But why would *those* 5 be hunting Jedi now?   I hope we get a bit of backstory on them.

I was racking my brain who Daniel looks like to me and then it came to me, he looks a lot like Jason Clarke who is currently playing Jerry West on Winning Time.

I think he looks like a young Woody Harrelson, back in the Cheers days.

  9. Well, if Sydney had not done the SITD, she would have voted for Evvie, and the votes would have been tied.  Evvie would have been out on the revote.  So ultimately she is responsible for her own demise in the game.

Same. When we remodeled our kitchen last year, we did not include a garbage disposal for that very reason.

This is not be relevant to the topic, but if you need a laugh -- Niles and Frasier and the garbage disposal.  For the record, I too have a healthy respect/irrational fear of having to reach into a disposal.

The old joke: Baptists do not drink or smoke ... in front of each other.

Or, the differences between religions: "Jews do not recognize the divinity of Jesus; Protestants do not recognize the Primacy of the Pope; and Baptists do not recognize one another in the line at the liquor store."

I thought they made Wendy Malick look a lot like Annette Bening.

The joke I remember from my upbringing:

Why don't Baptists have sex standing up?  Someone might think they're dancing.

BB2 did. Ophelia. Will saved him from drowning in the pool.

I have a vague recollection of a dog in the house for a short period of time.  During one of Jeff/Jordan's seasons????

I wish I could muster up some sympathy for Nicole, but no.  She could possibly have saved Ian.  Dani may have voted him out in a tie anyway, but she didn't get the chance.  Yet Nicole will wander around crying and whining that it's not fair she lost her puppy.

Who is the legend moving in to the neighbor house?

Well, my first thought was Rachel, but her pregnancy would make that problematic.

Second thought was Dan, but that could provide support for Memphis (or whoever he is today... I can't keep up.)

I've seen Victor as a suggestion, but that would provide aid and comfort to Nicole.  I don't think ANYONE wants that.

There's always Jeff.  I'll duck to avoid the rotten tomatoes flying my way.  Same for Paul.

A few others ran through my head, but I settled on ...  Jesse!  Mr Pectacular himself.  BB seems to have a really high opinion of him.  And he can be totally annoying with his schtick.  We can watch Xmas totally forget about everything gamewise as she puppy dogs around the house behind him.

Shame Raven's not here.  I'm sure she could one-up this story.

  16. Sounds interesting.  Would a knowledge of Survivor history be needed to enjoy the game?

FYI - For some reason, at the top  of the page it says "You do not have permission to vote in this poll, or to see the results."
