  1. It is actually a vaccine intended for the Hatchlings. I'm not sure if they explained what for, though. I have to rewatch that passage to understand better what'S going on with that.
  2. That is normal. They do not exist. The prod team explained on Twitter that the PJs had been made specially for this episode using design coming from Johnny's favorite comics, Captain Apex. 😉
  3. Yes, very good explanation from Adam Barken. The other article on Jonny/Dutch relationship is very good as well and I fully agree with its author. I'm belonging to those who don't want a love story between those two, ever. And the marriage? For me, fake or not, it was the worst thing that could ever happen to them considering their deep friendship and the fact it could destroy it, and them both in the process or result in a love story. I love this unique relationship they have. It's why I'm watching (and for Johnny and Lucy as well). It has been one very steady element of the show. And it is so well done. I liked this total lack of "will/won't" that occurs in almost every other shows where the main characters are male and female. Had they crossed that line, it would have ruined the show for me. Regarding the episode, none of them actually spoke about the "horror" of the situation they've been through. They just ignored that and don't talk about what they felt while they both were affected by it, no matter how fake it was. Instead, Johnny is doing the talking while Dutch sat there and just approved. And I found it a bit frustrating and weak. They built this tension between them for 4 episodes "just" for that? Dutch didn't tell him what she said to D'av and that's a shame, because it would have make this discussion even deeper and meaningful between them. And she would have been honest. Also it doesn't explain Johnny's behavior either and why he was doing his best to avoid Dutch and any discussion on the subject or why he seemed so uncomfortable around her. The fact that he doesn't want to be a Killjoy all his life has been known for a very long time by Dutch and D'av knows as well. There is nothing really new there. She would have let him go anytime, should have he asked. She was even relieved when D'av offered him a piece of land on Leith, because she knew he had somewhere to settle down in the event of her death or once all is over. On the same idea, he should have been aware that she would let him go and there was a chance to loose her. That shouldn't have scared him. They are best friends after all. Unless he avoided carefully to think to that until the time comes. Don't get me wrong. I really loved that scene. It was beautifully done and in total accord with the characters and what they said during the seasons. I admire the producers and writers for not wavering at the last minute on their relationship. I was happy to see Johnny finally realized what he really wants for himself and tells Dutch, despite his fear of loosing her. He needs to take a break from everything to process what he has been through during the last years and to really figure out what he wants to do next. But I was expecting a bit more... The rest of the episode was really good. Things are starting to move and speed up on all fronts. I really enjoy Delle Seyah and Aneela. I can't wait to see what they are going to do on Qresh. Wait, that's an easy one. They are going to take the power, of course. I can't wait to see how they are going to do it. But why is Aneela still Hullen? Because of the cube? It protected her somehow? Khlyen showing feelings after so long is so good, especially because he has been outsmarted by one of his girls. Is he actually using Gared by making him lie to Pree about the fact he is awake so that he can spy on TAF B? Newcy has a new playground and is most likely starting going to grow as IA. She is so funny when she takes Johnny's instruction to the letter. Is it me or The Lady is just clueless about the fact Khlyen is once again not doing what she asked him or more or less took control of everything? I can't even considered her as the bad guy of the season. And there were so many good lines.
  4. Yes they did. They interviewed Adam Barken who wrote the episode: https://www.thetvjunkies.com/killjoys-three-mutineers/
  5. That's what The Lady did to Johnny in the matrix, didn't she? That's why he is so broken. And it could be hard for him to appreciate getting that in real life. I also have several possible outcomes in mind that I don't want to explore, because they don't includes a happy ending. Omens are not looking good. And I agree for D'av's reaction. He is trying to help them both as much as he could.
  6. I'm a bit afraid it won't happen before they get out of the prison, unless the events forced them to do it. They have more urgent problems to deal with than Johnny's feelings, especially since it doesn't prevent him to do his job or work with them (yet). Once out, they can (hopefully will) take a bit of time to seat down and settle this once and for all. One funny thing would be to see Johnny opening up to the Warden about his problem and her giving him some good piece of advice to deal with that. Strangers are often helping characters to solve that kind of issues. I still care about the resolution, but the longer this crisis lasts, the worst the outcome is going to be... I hope I'm wrong, but for now, I don't think it's going to end well for TAF and Johnny.
  7. It's great to see Dutch finally acknowledged that Johnny is broken and that she lost her true north. This means the Lady succeeded in breaking their bond and TAF. But neither Dutch and D'av can do anything to fix the situation. Dealing with this is entirely up to Johnny who refuses to even think about it. He is still struggling with what happened, because he cannot brand it as "fake" and it feels real to him. That doesn't prevent him to remain super smart and super good at what he does, even though everything goes south. I really enjoy that relationship part a lot, but it's starting to take too long to get solved. And I have a bad feeling on how it's going to be resolved. The prison is still boring as well as the fights part, but I didn't see the double-crossing coming. I knew something was up and wouldn't end as planned but that wasn't what I was expecting. So last week they showed us what TAS what up too. This week we discover the whereabouts of Jaq and Kendry. It's weird to see Kendry acting as a human being and not caring just about herself and her interests. I like the fact she prevented Jaq to head straight to The Lady's trap. Aneela is finally back and I think she is going to change the game, because The Lady is not expecting her. Khlyen is teaching The Lady about feelings. What does he intend to achieve by doing that? Does he plan to use them against her as she did with the others? I'm curious to see how he is going to use Gared to delay her plans even further and make his advance. But that's will be easier, and more risky, with Gared awake. Too bad we didn't see any of TAF B this time. I would have like to see what they are up too, even briefly. I'm pretty sure the Warden is going to work with Johnny, or give him something to help him, in order to retake the prison. She is probably aware that TAF, even though they created the whole situation, is the only one who can fix it, so it's in her best interest to assist him/them if she wants her prison back (if she survives). I'm wondering if the 2 Qreshis, and their ship, will have a role to play in the resolution of this mess in the prison.
  8. Tamsen McDonough (Lucy) said it was "Shawn". And I laughed too when I heard that, but got confused because the subtitle was saying "Sean". I don't think his fake feelings for Dutch should be dismissed entirely, though. They are part of his problem too. He still need to process what happened and accept it. He still remembers what happened iin there and those romantic feelings he never had for her before as if it was real. That's why he is awkward around Dutch. He doesn't know what they are to each other anymore. Contrary to the others two, he can't just labelled them as fake, toss them aside and be fine. That's not how he works. He is the one who cares in the team, the one who tends to act on his feelings and to get involve emotionally. That's his weakness and it makes him more vulnerable than the others. The Lady used that and his deep desire to settle down and have a family to manipulate him and to break his bond with Dutch. This situation will have an impact on their relationship. He can't just to go back to what they were before as nothing happened. But this is not something new. It has already started to change when D'av and Dutch became a couple. This, and his loneliness among the team, were discussed at the end of season 4 with Lucy. Loosing her really is a really blow to him, especillay because he is the one who pushed the button, and makes him alone now. And to me, Nucy is very unhealthy, and the way he is hanging on to her and hiding her from the others is creepy. It is a way to avoid dealing with the situation. And as long as he refuses to confront what happened and to talk it out with Dutch and D'av, things will get worse. He needs to figure out what they are exactly to each other again. They all need to do that in order to reconnect as a team, because TAF seems off right now. They are acting as normal, but there is a distance between them that will keep widening until they adressed it. And I totally agree. He has suffered a lot throughout the seasons. He deserves to find hapiness before the end. That's my opinion too. The relationships between the characters is what made me watch this show in the first place. I love them, especially this deep friendship between Johnny and Dutch, so I am against any love story between them or any love triangle happening in TAF.
