I totally understand Jamie being uneasy about Doug's finances. She's been poor, worked hard to get into a decent profession--nursing and doesn't want to go back to having to worry about how to pay for food, rent, etc. Hopefully if she is serious about making a marriage with Doug, money won't end up being what keeps them apart. Well that and the fact that Mama Doug isn't a fan.
I know this could be all producer driven and fake, but I am enjoying Jamie & Doug's journey so far. Doug does have a great body to go along with his personality. If he had been a 300lb schulb I'm not sure if Jamie would be so happy and willing to work on their marriage. Or maybe she would be ok but him being fit and healthy is probably a big plus. I know it would be for me!

I thought at the very beginning of the show she said she did something else as a day job - like office worker for a technical firm. I got the impression that she is still working toward becoming a makeup artist. Anyone know for sure?
Yes Cortney has a day job at a tech firm as some sort of office assistant. No idea if she pulls in any money for being a make up artist. Maybe she gets some cash on the side doing make up odd jobs. I feel bad for her to have so much student loan debt plus owing her parents. Her being financially unstable could be a big negative for Jason.
I wonder if Mama Doug is aware that Jamie has been on both Bachelor & Bachelor Pad!!? That could be a big turn off for her. I still like Doug & Jamie together but am beginning to wonder if its a good match or not. Guess we'll see!

Still the next morning I cannot believe Nicks lack of class. The entire premise of this show is leading someone on! So acting all butt hurt months later about it in the manner he did was sad and pathetic. His lack of class should really turn off the ladies as well as his stalker, sad sack tendencies. Honestly the entire thing just grossed me out.
I still can't believe Nick did that either. Did he think she was going to take off her ring and say "oh I made a mistake, lets get back together". No, he wanted to mare sure he hurt Andi and Josh and that is just all kinds of wrong. Grow up Nick. And good luck to the next girl he is with.
At the watching party I was at last night, the reaction to Andi and especially Josh was very favorable. We were kinda disapointed that he ended up Andi's guy as we all want him to be the next Bachelor! Oh well, best of luck to Andi and Josh as they truly begin their relationship.

I believe all the dates match up to Nick, not Josh or Chris. Marcus would never write it as he's all in for Bachelor in Paradise
And if Nick did indeed write it at the time of the taping of MTA, yikes that's really bad for him. Unless he was forced to do so after his little plane chat being caught on tape.
Off to watch the finale with some friends. Hope everyone enjoys the show!

I actually feel bad for Nick to have it broadcast to the world but once he blabbed the ending in a public place, he has been powerless to stop Fleiss and company from using him in any way.

The thing is, Caleb only wants to scare Amber into running into his arms, not actually get her evicted. He's in for a shock when he finds out the house plans to vote her out.
Yeah Caleb is in for a real shock when he finds out that Amber is the real target and that he has ZERO pull with the others to keep her safe.

Can't believe the end of the season is finally here. Seems like its been forever since the show first started. Maybe its cause I'm just impatient for the studpidity of Bachelor in Paradise to start and that's making Andi's season drag by!

Zach was so adamant about not putting Donny up. I honestly wonder if he has a secret alliance with him. He was also adamant about not putting Victoria up. It's so hard to figure out what's going on in that boy's head!
I don't think we are going to be able to figure out what's going on in Zach's head so I'm planning on just sitting back and seeing what havoc he can create. And if it makes Christine cry, all the better. And who knows why he has changed his tune about Victoria. A couple of weeks ago he hated her. Probably still does on some level but knows she's not a threat to him.

I sure hope Zach does wears his robe while nominating Nicole & Christine. That could be the highlight of the season so far.

I doubt anyone here is shocked to hear that, but at least it's confirmed. I have to give Jamie some props for her confidence, because most people would wish to hide in a hole somewhere after doing some of the things she's done on TV, yet she keeps on truckin' and setting herself up for ridicule. I for one think she's just being herself, even though having some kind of a filter wouldn't hurt.
I read that article last night. For some reason, Jamie doesn't bother me. Yes her time on the Bachelor/Bachelor Pad was cringe-worthy but I guess she seems sorta harmless compared to some of the other reality TV people who keep popping up on my TV over and over and over again.

I personally find Chris to be boring but it could be fun to watch a bunch of city girls pretend they are all excited to become a farmer's wife.

There is some interesting stuff on The Married at First Sight Facebook page which aren't spoilers necessarily but there are people on there who are saying things about knowing stuff about Jason.
I read those comments too. That one poster seems really upset that Jason went on the show to promote his wrestlng career. Guess they'd never watched the Bachelor/ette before. That could mean that he and Cortney part ways after the five weeks but they seem pretty friendly on twitter so if they did split, it wasn't a bad one.

I really, really like Doug and think Jamie is damn lucky to have been matched with him but do understand Jamie being so standoff-ish with him at first. But I'm glad by the end of their time in St. Thomas she seemed way more comfortable with him and was sharing kisses, hugs, etc.
Cortney & Jason seem to be great together and I wonder if they got sent off to the Poconos due to time constraints with his job. A short car ride is easier to work around than a long flight to somewhere tropical. Hope they can work things out with their busy lives. Compromise is going to be the key with them.
I have no hope for Monet & Vaughn.

Based on the video where Nick references Jason's season I really think the letter is from him, trying to pull a Molly. But then again they made a HUGE DEAL about the letter in the final episode of Sean's season and that ended up being less than nothing, so maybe it's just a love note from Josh.
I'm 50/50 on the letter. Part of me thinks its Nick trying one last time to spark something with Andi and the other half of me thinks its a big ole nothing. Guess we'll see next Monday exactly what went down. I do think the screen caps show that he is let go the morning of the final rose ceremony so that could be the "shocking end".

Read on another board that Cortney and Jason were in North Carolina over July 4th. That would be great if (1) they are together and (2) she has finally got to introduce him to her family.
And unless Jamie is pulling the biggest fake out on social media, I too believe she and Doug are still together. Whether its real or not, who knows.

I think one of the reasons that Caleb isn't that big of a target is Derrick feels that he is "loyal" and can manipulate him. This could work out to Derrick's advantage in the coming weeks if he feels like sitting next to Cody at the end isn't a good idea, who better to take Cody out than Caleb.

So US Weekly's cover story this week is about Andi's love triangle with Josh and Nick and that the final 2 guy has been trying to win her back post show. Who knows if this is remotely true as I would hope that Nick had more sense than that.

I totally think the Nick video is legit and just one of the those one in a million chance encounters--superfan sitting near him on his flight home while he blabs what happened. Unfortunately for Nick, with modern cell phones, what he said was recorded for all of us to hear.
I haven't watched the deleted scene with Andi watching the videos yet so thanks truthaboutluv for bringing it up; I'll have to do so later today when I'm home. Sounds like from your description that for the first time since Jason's season, we have a lead that is truly conflicted and quite possibilty in love at some level with two different people. And why she chooses Josh at the end is basically why I'm still watching.

I rewatched the Nick airplane videos today (Reality Steve reposted them on his blog) and just call it a hunch after listening to Nick blabber on while eating cheetos, that he didn't propose so I won't be surprised to see Andi dump him before the final rose ceremony.

I think she slept with both of them too and I feel like after last night's episode that both she and Josh are going to have to put some extra effort into their relationship for him to get over what happen on that fantasy date with Nick. The "After the Final Rose" show could have some tense moments, if Josh hasn't put it all behind him.
Something is off about the previews so I wonder if she's going to pull an Ali and send Nick home before the rose ceremony!?!? Thoughts?

Frankie, Nicole, Christine and Donny seem to be the only ones who declare themselves big fans of the show (that I can see).
Derrick is a fan. He's been spewing out stuff on the feeds from past seasons that only a true fan would know, not some recruit that just watched a few episodes before they went on the show while in sequester.
I can't see the house flipping at this point and taking out Caleb instead of Devin but you never know , its a long, long, long way to go to Thursday.

Why do they hate Amber, other than the Caleb association? She seems like a sweetheart to me.

Victoria was complaining on the feeds that Amber used her makeup without asking. It all seems so petty but when you are in the BB house, little things like that add up and so therefore you have Amber being disliked by alot of the others. I think Jacosta is the only other girl that really talks to her--Victoria, Brittnay, Nicole all seem to hate her.

I loved Paradise Hotel too. Probably my favorite reality tv show of all time.
I think the "couple" I'm most interested in seeing is Cody & Michelle Money as that totally has trainwreck written all over it. Too bad we have to wait all the way to episode 4 for his arrival!

Read on another site that it was Nick first, then Chris then Josh as the order for Fantasy dates. I believe that it Has something to do with the time/date stamps on the ABC medianet photos that are released to the press that you can tell when dates happen.
