However, I will say many scenes JM/Nick is as bad or worse than Burton/Dylan.

Ha I love Jean Ralphio. I'm sorry but he makes me laugh my ass off. The actor does a great job and the writing is on point.
I voted for his sister as the wooooorst! Because Jean Ralphio is right when he said that about her and everyone who said tht about Jerry is wroooooong!

The show was amusing but honestly I hated Serena and the model who recited her dialogue on screen.

I think it was over the top and campy but the moments and relationships many times were authentic. Friendships weren't forged over night and Betty didn't become insta glamorous. Justin coming out was done in a slow realistic way. The family relationships and interaction on the Saurez side were realistic.

Yes when her boyfriend dumped her and when he had health issues (both crisis) she turned to her horrible mom. Her mom who sucks so bad after she was there for her with that, then supported her emotionally and financially during her marriage and pregnancies. Poor Bri. Yes her mom is bossy and irritating boo hoo. Maybe she should take a day in the life of a child physically abused or molested or kid raised in a slum by crackhead or prostutute parents and then she can explain for her hundredth time why her life was such an adversity.
It'll be cute when in 18 years her 2 kids are bitching on tv about their psychotic abusive dad and worthless mom who was too busy enabling him or rehashing shit grandma did to lovingly care for them.

Brianna needs to address or mentally come to peace with her issues if she wants to be a good mom to her kids. She's a mom now and seems to still be obsessed with how her mommy treated her or treats her presently and she has a much more important priority - her own kids.
As for for her marriage to that raging psychotic trash I'm sure it'll fail if she had all her hang ups and issues or was emotionally balanced.
I also wonder when if ever is her happiness and mental well being her own responsibility? She sure loves being the victim.

I'm inclined to agree with you both. I hope she doesn't suffer the fate if other child stars who lose their cuteness appeal and relevance. It's said June had saved much of her money in college finds for her? That was a rumor I heard. I hope he does for to university if not just for career reasons but to be out in her own in a new place studying a variety of subjects and meeting diverse people.
I know Alana has said many times she wants to be a nail technician and work at McDonald's when she grows up : )

The early episodes he was such a baby. Then new season on he grew like crazy each episode! I always liked him.

I thought I'd prefer Sami wih the brown hair sine she has those piercing pale blue eyes. Generally I like people with dark hair and light eyes, light hair and dark eyes because then the POP. But Sami's brown hair was too ashy or something to me. It looked obviously dyed.
It's funny KM hais natural dark hair (its obvious) and JL has natural pale blond hair I wonder if the show makes them dye it.

The irony is of course that Marc mismatched patterns all the time. In early seasons it was with precision so it looked almost to contrived but later seasons it became more outlandish (was that after Pat field became costume designer?).
Besides the clothes a big part of Betty's look was the glasses (especially the old red ones), adult braces, bushy hair, and lack of make up. I'm sorry to be mean but she looked like a dweeb.
