Luann's house in Sag Harbor is actually quite small. I know it looks like an average size on camera but compared to the estate she shared with her ex, Alex, on Highland Terrace in Bridgehampton, it really is a huge downsize. She's also surrounded by neighbors and has basically no privacy there. Not to mention everyone in Sag Harbor/Easthampton knows who she is. (I only know this bc I'm from there and grew up best friends with her daughter Victoria) I think the idea behind the upstate house is seclusion in a peaceful environment, which she supposedly needs to keep up her sobriety.
