This episode was way better than last week. I wonder when the team will realize that Samaritan is rigging elections all over the country.
Someone please remind me: is Samaritan getting nationwide feeds, or just the Manhattan feed, like the Machine?

Was Bear in this episode? Also who was the other guy in the Finch flashbacks?
Did not see Bear; that was Nathan Ingram (sp?), Finch's partner in IFT Co., the company which built the Machine for the government. Later killed in the ferry bombing which also 'killed' Finch. Nathan was more the conscience of the operation back in the day; he was worried about the irrelevants while Harold said, "We built it the way the government wanted, now we're done." Nathan was the first to try and save the irrelevants, in fact.

I really like the flashbacks to Finch developing the machine; it learning to lie and then trying to kill him are actually kind of cool. I had an iphone before I had an ipad; when I got the pad and hooked up to the house wifi, it pinged the phone and started snagging contacts and stuff off it. I found that kind of creepy; the Machine trying to hack the laptop and then trying to escape onto the 'net was equally creepy. I like that sort of thing. :-) (Although I nipped it in the bud on my own devices. Hmm, now I guess I should worry my gadgets are plotting to kill me....maybe I shouldn't leave them in my bedroom overnight, they might conspire to smother me or set the house on fire or something.)

Nathan--! -flail-
Aw poor Root. Can't talk with god anymore.

Headless is a better actor and more interesting than Abraham.
YES.
-ahem- Totally agree. Even without a head he has much more presence than the guy playing Abraham.

OK, where did they get the old picture of Mary?!
I'm kind of on the fence about Hawley; he's OK, i guess, but I don't know why they needed to add a character.

Wah! I hope they figure out a way to bring Frank back, I like him.
Oppie's kinda scary.

"I'm failing as a father, husband, and man." Oh Fitz, that ship sailed a looooooooooooooooong time ago.
He failed as a husband as soon as he took a mistress. I mean, I'm just sayin'.... ;-)

Oh, I don't think she was taking the moral high ground; I saw it more as, "Extortion? You think you can blackmail someone? You are mere amateurs--I'll show you REAL blackmail." :-)

I gotta admit I LOVED Olivia going off at the extorting parents. That was great.
Can someone remind me--was it Jake that told Tom to kill Jerry, or Rowan?

Ah, that works, thx. :-)
Personally, I loved Crane ranting against the overpriced coffee until he tasted it, then totally sucking it down. Hee!

They finally acknowledged the vast height difference between Abbie & Crane
What term did he use to refer to himself in that scene in the woods? I missed it....

Wow, can we please make this just the Raymond Reddington show? Everything he does is so much more interesting than watching the fibbies....

Apropos of nothing--I really like the music in this show. Further in trivia-- do we know if they're doing another season?

Cyrus was so easy. He really must be lonely. Poor sex worker, he is in over his head with some of the most ruthless people on the planet. No doubt he will dead or run out of town soon enough.
When Michael asked Cyrus if he was single, I didn't really expect Cyrus to reply, "Yes, I'm a widower--my husband was shot to death in the street. Oh, and I have a child," but didn't all that make news? Doesn't Michael at least know about James? Doesn't PdR? (can't remember the character's name...)

Tonight's episode of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD is brought to you by -- Fitbit. The activity tracker of choice of snipers and assassins everywhere. Talk about your blatant product placement.
Oh, was that what it was?? -product placement whooshes over janet's head-

You have seen the captain before, and i can't remember her name either.
I think they need to start going foreign language for Finch; Vogel would be good.

Did the audio get very weird for anyone else in the last five minutes or so?
I missed bits and pieces here and there; whenever they went to Ab/lodie, I switched channels.

What I love about this show is that the characters are totally on board with the bizarreness they're involved in, but every now and then step back for a second and say, "OK, so this is totally insane..." and then just shrug and roll with it. :-)

Sooooo.... Mrs Winter was hallucinating the rad detector readings..?

Having worked in law firms for thirty years and knowing many lawyers and law students--this isn't going to fly for me. Love Viola Davis, but I will not be able to suspend my disbelief far enough to not spend an hour rolling my eyes.
Oh--and who played the defendant (Gina?)?

I like PdR's character already. :-)

Hooo boy, Mellie's gone over the edge.
Someone please tell me what happened in the cold open? I missed it... Thx.
