Hollywood Divas - General Discussion
Fairlily26 replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Hollywood Divas
Golden Brooks has played the same role her entire career. Maya on Girlfriends, Maya in Beauty Shop, Maya in that movie with Shemar Moore and Vivica Fox(Tois? Pandora's Box? Not to mention, I never liked any of those characters and now I know its because she's been playing herself, no wonder I don't like her on this show either. And I know we all see what her parents did with her name, golden brooks? They could have also named her babbling brooks or flowing brooks....smh -

Am I the only one who noticed how active Golden's hands became when Countess announced wanting lipo? Golden goes "Do you really think liposuction is going to take care of EVERYTHING?" *frames face with hands* -

I'm really gonna miss Harrison. Love that they continued to use amazing songs. Still hate Quinn, and Abby... -

Stupid Movies We Watch Over and Over and Over...
Fairlily26 replied to David T. Cole's topic in Everything Else Movies
Sliding Doors, the last time it came on was my 40th watch...I know the entire script verbatim. I cannot understand it, but every single time it comes on, I must watch! The only thing that bothers me is how big of a heinous bitch Jeanne Tripplehorn plays. I know people say Gwyneth Paltrow is a mega bitch in real life, but since I have never met the woman, or heard any of her quotes, I can only appreciate her acting, which in this movie is great! Bridget Jones Diary-ONLY the first one, the sequel was bizarre. A Low Down Dirty Shame:Jada Pinkett Smith is hysterical! Noah's Arc: Jumping The Broom, I just love the cast dynamic, its like being with old friends. The series was cancelled way ahead of its time. Sex and the City:Just the first one, Ive decided the second one, simply didn't happen. Love Jones: "Why does everything have to be so urgent with you?!" "I love you, thats urgent as a motherfucker!" Muriel's Wedding, Toni Collette is just the best thing ever. Love Potion Number 9 Who Framed Roger Rabbit :"Shave and a haircut, two bits!" -

Guess what guys? Remember "Frontin'" by Pharell featuring Jay Z? Well....... Nikko and Mimi have something else in common! They both made appearances in music videos! The first appearance by Mimi is at the 40 second mark! -

Last night I was feeling particularly nostalgic and decided to listen to a little Biggie, so I looked up "One more chance" on youtube and who do I see? NIKKO! skip to the 2:15 mark to see a young Nikko... -

This show stays in my Netflix queue. Favorite episode? Mirror image followed closely by 22. Never has a series scared me by a beautiful woman being absolutely creepy! "Room for one more honey..." -
The comedienne, Sommore is my favorite stand up comic aside from Aisha Tyler and I was SO disappointed in her cameo! That's all I got.

I had the closed captions on and when Brian started singing they said "off key". I knew then that whatever came out of his mouth would be absolutely hysterical!

Remember when Sinclair went on a date with Tommy from Martin? He played a veterinarian. Maxine, Regine, and Kadijah followed them to the restaurant and interfered on what was a successful date. I always thought they treated Sinclair a bit like their child.

I am waiting for the next episode, when we see Karlie Redd tell Young Joc about the bar scene, and see just how little a fuck he gives! Also, why did she repeat that shit as though someone asked her "Huh? What you say?" "I feel sorry for you when Joc see you! I feel sorry for you when Joc see you!" Bitch we heard you the first time! Erica, you're too pretty to be acting so ratchet! Fuck that, Im going to say, WRETCHED, you know damn well Benzino was talking to Karlie! Did being filmed with Scrappy make her look more intelligent, or is she just bucking for more camera time? Are her and O'Shea, the model, arguing over her not giving him gas money in the previews?!?!?! I need answers! -
I loved that scene! Montana:Vaj Vaj: Whore! Montana:Vaj Vaj: Whore! Montana:Vaj... Vaj: Whore! ! !

Due to insomnia, I'm currently watching the episode entitled "there's got to be a morning after" when Maxine and Kyle wake up in that struggle recliner that Overton dragged in off the street. I just wish they could have hooked up and stayed together. It would have been cool to see a couple that was still compatible without being so lovey dovey like Overton and Sinclair.
-
"Kyle! If I ever hear a word about this, I will kill you, burn you, and salt the earth where I bury you, so that nothing will ever grow there again!"

Tammy seems sweet enough, but I can't understand a damn word Waka says! How the hell is he a rapper?? He seriously needs subtitles. Mimi looks really stupid acting so pressed over whether or not Stevie and Joseline are really married. Who the hell cares? I guess Nikko is not entertaining enough. He is so creepy looking and just rubs me the wrong way. Bambi did what I would have done which is walk away. But, I don't know if I would have even showed up. Then, again, it was her "boyfriend's" mom asking. Where is Erica?? -
I think Trinity had the eye patch on during the match as part of the storyline. They definitely wouldn't clear her to wrestle until she was 100%, but the eye patch drums up the drama. I just love me some Trinity. I think Im ready to start going to matches again. I stopped caring when Edge retired, but these ladies might just bring me back.

I'm also hoping that Rick Fox didn't kill Olivia. Simply because thats just too obvious. Definitely enjoying all the male eye candy! YUM!!! And that last shot of Mckinley Freeman's ass!!!!! DOUBLE YUM!!!
