So, I only found this forum around the same time Dayton got cut, and I never went back and read what the prior topics being talked about were... Being completely unbiased by what insiders had previously said, just by watching the first episodes, I thought Dayton was a better fit than VK. I was surprised Dayton got cut. Just based on the first few episodes I would have thought Dayton was going to make the team and VK wasnt...I honestly cant figure out why Dayton was cut. She has the dance skills, she is smart, and she is beautiful. It still doesnt make sense to me...

So this is my 4th or 5th time guessing how the cuts will go. I havent been right yet... But, im thinking ep12 Tara and VK get cut, and ep13 Malena and Lily get cut I mean, it shouldnt be rocket surgery anymore. I think ive got it right this time (Ps yes I know what I did)

Oh man, i wait all year for DCC Making the Team...and now we are down to the final 2 episodes...sigh...

Last nights episode made me worry about Tara. Mental health is important and she hinted that her job and not being able to find a good balance was overwhelming. If she isnt sleeping well, that could cause a bloated face. Hypothyroid issues can cause that as well. But if you really watched Tara's body language and her eyes, she projected exhaustion, a deep sadness, and something along the lines of depression. I hope she will be ok and that someone will check in with her. It's hard when you feel like you've lost control, and you're just so damn tired. My family struggles with mental health, and the world still isnt accepting and understanding of people struggling with mental health issues. There is still a negative stigma. And some people dont ever realize that they have gone too far down the rabbitt hole because it is their new normal.

Sometimes I cringe when I read my posts and all the other ppsts because we are talking about real, live, breathing, thinking, feeling, young women....and the world is already against women as it is. Do I personally think VK was ready to be a DCC-No. Could she ever be-Yes. She is not fat per real world standards. Was her body ready for DCC- yes during auditions, no during camp. I dont think VK was ever shy or meek or quiet. It is not a bad thing to be- Go Big or Go Home, you just need to develop the maturity to know the best and appropriate times to use your boldness. My best guess is that VK forgot the entire process was a job interview. I feel like she assumed the interview ended with the invitation to training camp. If she really did grow up with Auntie Kelly, it can be hard to abruptly transition away from that relationship, to that of a Boss/Employee dynamic. I wish the best to all the young women just trying to find their place and figure out how to make sense of the world

The sprinklers were going and at first glance i thought somebody had lost their mind watering the artificial turf...and then i realized the sprinkles were watering the field adjacent to the turf the girls were practicing on. SAVANNAH- that girl has gotten eerily skinny. Her body type is not meant to be so lean. I dont think I like it. Women who naturally have big boobs, usually the natural body type that goes along with that are super curvy throught the waist, hips or backside. In ronights episode, she was shaped like a man, broad throught the shoulder chest and then e erything tapered down from there. It appeared she had lost her waist and hip curvature.

Well now we know Tara and VK get cut in episode 12 and Malena and Lily go in the final episode 13

Ohhhhh....my heart is breaking for Kristin and Malena. I really do love them. They are such kind, well rounded people. I think they would be good for the locker room. Just listening to Tara speak and watching her body language. I think whatever is going on in her life is almost too much. She may be suffering from depression. I swear if you look into her eyes you can see that her soul is exhausted and sad. I used to do a lot of field work and when I had to interview and hire crew members, I always brought in one person who definitley would need a lot of training on data collection, but who had a positive zest and good aura about them who i knew would help keep morale up. Field work in the desert was long, hot, tiring weeks of monotony. Keeping good morale was so important.

I love how there was a ton of support for Brennan. It was nice to see Jinelle. I dont want to get roasted for this. I seriously love love love Maddie M. I fell in love with her the very moment she tried out....but...this year she has clearly gained weight...it was the first thing I noticed about her. Ok, that being said, clearly i wish i had her body...but she is softer in the stomach and inner thighs and it is noticeable in the uniform

Omg, Kashara for the futher mucking win, tonight! She said about VK, sometimes and look and at her and say- "did you even think before you said that?" Also VK...a bull in a china shop...it's- a bull in a china shop... Oy vey!

I have watched the DCC since season 1, however only this season did i find this forum. God i wish i were here for the jenna/holly fiasco. I still really dont have a good idea what happened with that. When they showed Jenna retire this season, Kelly and Judy didnt look sad at all. Infact it looked like K and J were quite relieved thatshe would finally be gone. It all seemed rather awkward, because it was so obvious that JK were heart broken that Jinelle retired. And they love her so much they tried to talk her out of it. And to jave Jenna make the decision to retire at the same time as Jinelle, it was glaringly obvious how different KJ felt about each girl

I'm not a fan of these final cuts happening on the day the squad is announced or a day before. It was abvious Malena wasnt going to make the squad. She had a good job that she quit because Kelly said she "could" make the Squad. I think that all cuts should be completed at least a week before the squad is announced. If you are on the fence about a candidate to the point where you keep them in camp up until 24hrs before the squad is announced, it either means that she is qualified to make the squad, or it means that Kelly and Judy knew she should be cut but didnt have the cojones to do it and they just strung the poor woman along when they already knew she wasnt ever going to make the squad. I have no idea what Lily is lacking because I dont think they have ever mentioned her name as being deficient in anything and i dont think she has even been called into the office. Cutting Lily on the last night, not really fair, because if she was never given feedback, than she never had the chance to work on anything

The synopsis of tonight's episode says one women is cut tonight, and the lat 2 episodes are 2 cuts each. So, who gets cut tonight? Tara or maybe Kristin?

Pardon the interruption: October 10- World Mental Health Day We all have shadows. Even so, life can be isolating. I feel as though as we navigate life, we all meet other souls who inevitably leave us behind and take a bit of our heart when they go. I truly believe no one gets to the finish line with a perfectly untarnished heart. It is the greatest gift of life, to be able to love in the time that we are given. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Late night random thoughs while waiting for the benadryl to kick in...all the NFL cheerleading squads never get game time/prime time coverage. I live for football season and the tv crews never purposefully pan the cameras on the cheerleaders during the game. The tv viewers dont even get quick peaks at half time performances because the stations have to go to comercial. Im a Pats fan and trust me I say the mascot, and musket squad gets shown on tv way more than the cheerleaders. I have the NFL RedZone etc so I see a lot of games. I puposefully watch the Cowboys hoping to see the Cheerleaders. Nope, zilch for coverage. The DCC get more tv time from the CMT show. And funny thing, TCC candidates all end up getting way more screen time than what the final squad gets in real life.

Ive wondered this for years now. How can any young women trying out not have the choreo memorized already? Most of the routines can be found on the internet. Especially the kick line. And why show up to auditions with crap for flexibility? It makes 0 sense why these young women are unprepared.

Why does Lily get cut? Tbh, i have no idea who Lily is or what she looks like. She has received no negative feedbacks or any critiques, so it just seems weird and disconnected...

Was Brianna only last season? Jeez feels like it was at least 3 seasons ago. But yes, that poor girl was all proud of herself because she cooked spaghetti, i think? And it was the first time she had ever made herself food...

Ive been watching since season 1. This season has bummed me out. It really hasnt been exciting...maybe it doesnt really have to be exciting, but at least make it not boring. Ive been bored this season. Id rather see more of Erin and Brennan, and less legacy. The way kids are raised these days, 18 is too young. I remember a few seasons back, there was a beautiful candidate, fantastic dancer and gorgeous face. But she was 18, and not able to take care of herself and yet here she was trying to live in Dallas on her own. She had never been away from her parents, had never cooked a meal before, never had to rely on herself to make all her life decisions. I remember one interview she was so proud that she actually either boiled water or cooked an egg or something. She got cut. She couldn't handle living as an adult for the very first time in her life while trying to learn the routines, and practice time management. She wasnt even used to hearing constructive dance criticism. I dont think anyone had ever told her there were things to work on. I think she had only ever heard what a wonderful dancer she was. VK comes across as though she hasn't had to make her own decisions and depend on herself to manage all the moving pieces in her own life. She isnt mature enough yet. She is lacking real life experience.

The end of tonights episode Kelli and Judy said to prepare for cutting Kristen, VK, and Ashlee. We already know Ashlee makes the team so I eliminated her from my post. Next week is going to be at least VK and/or Kristin. We only have 2 episodes left...so does that mean Kristen Tara and VK get cut in episode 11, and then Malena and Lily get cut in Episode 12 the final episode, right before they announce the team?
