I assume they will be using Emma again for thunderstruck. I don’t recall her being sent out to many appearances as an all star, but girl has been filling in for injured girls like crazy!
I’m assuming it’s because she doesn’t have the DCC body back post baby. She’s not fat but she’s not DCC uniform ready

On older vets though, Maddie looks FIRE this year. Her hair looks so much better - what the heck was she doing differently there? do it all the time, Mads!! her make up was so pretty too. Rachel A always takes good pics.
Bridget's solo was cute. Alot of jumping around doing tricks but she does them well, very clean and powerful. She is really enjoyable to watch even if that song made my ears bleed. I really am trying to warm up to her look because i like her dancing a lot.
Her part, when she parts it down the middle she looks awful, the Nichole B part is much better for her.

My guess would be the boot buddy is like a sorority thing where you have your family tree of big/little sis. Who was Brennan’s boot buddy last year? If that girl retired that makes sense why she is by herself with VK.
Was Lexie Madeline’s boot buddy last year? That’s how I think it works.
Edited to ask @ShellyB how are the boot buddies assigned where some have one and another has 2? What happens when the buddy is cut?

Brennan seems like she thinks before she speaks and knows how to tactfully make suggestions about proper adult behavior. I think she was chosen specifically for her maturity in life. They already think VK is the best dancer in the world, she needs polish, Brennan is that polish.
Prayers for Brennan during this difficult time in her life, at least she had one good year!

Pretty funny that the segment was about lean bodies when Meredith is the heaviest cheerleader they ever had, she just got bigger and bigger and was never cut. I guess the Cassie and Victoria favoritism is for all legacies.

Siah seemed affectionate a couple times in the video, BUT he also seemed a little frustrated with Lauren at the beginning because she was acting so clueless about what was going on.
He wrote clues on a note and there was a series of numbers. He asked her what could the numbers mean; she said I have no idea. He said, “well how do you figure things out?” She said, “Ask you.” He seemed a bit annoyed and said, “Look it up. Enter the numbers in a search.” She slowly pulled her phone out, still looking puzzled. (We viewers never did learn what the #’s meant.) I was feeling frustrated myself, saying “Google it!”

I do not know how y’all post photos because my phone will not post a screen shot. Anyways, Lacey is trying out again @laceyjean17 on insta. She looks amazing! Made it to Finals in 2017 I think but they didn’t like her. I loved her! dlt0672 on insta posted about her.
