Maryella sounds like a 5th grader made it up. Why not Mary Ella or another double name like Mary Beth, Mary Catherine, etc if they wanted something other than just "Mary"
So we got 18 months before next pregnancy?
Name pool time:
Girls: They tend to like non "old names" so my guess is: Maisie, Madeline, Mia, Megan, Molly. The name Madison is probably on the "no-go" list.
Boys: Matthew or Malachi
And its been almost 3 years since a Josh sex scandal so I assume that may happen pre-next baby.

I'm not a doctor but Meri is clearly depressed. Having a bad marriage/non-existent romantic relationship with your spouse would do that normally but its been going on for years now. Then you see that he's doing okay/good with 3 other women. Kody will never forgive Meri for attempting to cheat on him. His ego will never recover and with 3 other wives, he has that option.
But in all fairness to the women, Meri is selfish and un-fun to be around. She clearly has always played the victim. Seasons 1-5: I can't have but one baby. Therefore, I deserve as much money and house as those who had more kids because I'm a victim. Seasons 6-10: I tried to cheat and failed. Now people blame me for it. So instead I buy a B&B that makes no sense and get mad when people don't realize I'm the victim.
Janelle is busy not selling houses, sitting on her couch, walking once a week past the guardrail near her home , raising 3 kids and helping Madison.
Christine has 4 kids at home.
Robyn has 5 kids, two of them fairly little.
Then there is Kody and his constant need for attention from non-Meri wives. They don't have time to drive 30 minutes for Meri to list off all the ways she is treated unpoorly.

Robyn had her boy and girl with Kody.
1 more than Meri & the 2 youngest.
She's set and doesn't need anymore to ensure her spot on the pyramid.
Dayton is college age. I'm sure she's ready to move on from that part of her life. But if she has another girl the name will be Cinderella Ariel Jasmine Snow White Brown.

My thoughts during the episode
So nothing in the last 6 weeks happened at all?
I wonder if Meri visited with Logan, Madison, Aspen, Hunter, etc. while in LV?
Did the B&B, ya know the whole plot of the last season, disappear?
Have none of these people ever heard of a town house or apartment?
Why is Kody paying someone to design a home and do blueprints when they are "drowning" in debt?
Why is Christine wearing some ugly flower shirt from Lularoe?
Why are we focusing on Kody's butt?
Why is Meri acting suicidal over a King Bed?
What did Meri do to make it clear even Christine don't care?
Are none of the kids involved in rec sports or activities?
Why am I still watching this?

This whole episode, all I could think was, why aren't these women living together . 30 minute drive away from each other with 5 mortgages on property they aren't even living on. 10 total payments for homes/property.
4 Vegas, 1 lot in Flagstaff, 4 houses in Flagstaff, and Meri's B&B. With nothing but TLC payments and about 20 people to support. Good grief.
Robyn's castle house should have been Christine/Janelle's home or at least someone + Meri. They all should be grateful Meri got kicked out, its one less payment they have to make.

^^you could be right.
I always assumed Janelle married Kody cause Meri’s brother was closeted gay and/or there were other issues. To “protect” Janelle and the secret they married her off to a close relative.

I think Meri, Christine, and Robyn all understood how this game is played. Janelle didn’t grow up in it the way the other 3 did so I think she bought into the good stuff or realized it was her best chance at being a mother/having a family.
Meri was top dog but Janelle and Christine seemed to genuinely like each other and they each played a role for the other in the kids lives. Meri’s only kid was aging and she needed an ally.
In comes younger and skinnier BFF Robyn. Robyn meanwhile understood what would actually get Kodys attention and keep it. She keeps wife 1 as her friend to ensure she’ll have power and say until Meri messes up and/or Robyn figures out to make her move.
Christine decided to take a back seat and be the supportive wife, instead of Meri v Robyn power struggle. She was the fun and sweet island as opposed to be old crying Meri who was losing favor and nagging breastfeeding Robyn.
Janelle meanwhile was hanging with her kids and not selling houses.
Polygamy is actually more like junior high clicks than anything. Meri thought she was the most popular and it backfired.
She’s been dealing with that loss ever since. She can’t figure out how to not be the favorite. She’s been mopey about it for 5+ years at this point.

In all fairness to Robyn, she’s got a warehouse of a home to justify keeping.
She needs to have about a litter to justify that house!

I think in the best of circumstances it would be virtually impossible to be really close to 13 kids as the oldest group were growing up. This is even more true with 3 women competing for his attention. Then add in another new wife and 3 more kids. Then move away form each other so you only see your dad every 4 days but even then you are competing with half a dozen others. Then Add in 2 new babies but at least you move closer together.
But then your father is an immature boy who demands everyone do what he wants just cause....

All the kids know the score. Their parents are immature and bad with finances.
Man I really felt bad for Kody in this episode.
He wasn’t able to say goodbye to the houses...sob!
He is so inconsiderate of his son-in-Laws. They have to work in LV in the am (4 hour drive each way) & they carried a toddler with them Kody can’t keep a schedule and then gets annoyed that people are leaving.
Janelle is leaving 3 of her kids, Christine is leaving 2 of hers, & Kody wants to cry about his memories. For someone who spends so much time talking about his family, he sure is leaving a lot of them behind
Robyns house is something straight of 1990.
Also I never remember how truly ugly those vow renewal dresses were.
Unflattering in the palette of 70s kitchens...yikes

To me the worst Robyn moment was when she gave her “saving your heart” speech where she vaugeuly talked about losing her virginity before she got married...then made it sound like she was pregnant and abandoned. She kept saying he broke her heart...
Meanwhile the guy (her 1st husband) married her & they had 2 more kids after her OOWL pregnancy. It was ridiculous, awkward, and stupid.

What is Kodys job? Like what does he do during the day?
Robyn is selling 3 necklaces a year.
Janelle is not selling homes.
Meri is bringing in a little income from LLR.
Christine is losing $ from LLR
But what is Kody supposedly doing? Have I missed the memo or is he running the houses like it’s Downton Abbey?

About the move 19 times... years ago on some other message board (or maybe this one before it got changed??)...I read for the time the accounts about J’s first husband being Meri’s brother and J’s mom and K’s dad being married. That same poster talked about K&M living in a trailer on family land, moving trailer somewhere else, then moving into a bigger or nice trailer in the same park. I assume some of the moves were like that. No furniture, just pack your clothes, sheets and dishes and walk down the street.

He is such a clown!
He grabs a bullhorn & screams that we have to move...then complains about how the move that isn’t necessary is hurting his feelings.
He’s lying to his wives about this 1 house, he leaves the state and pays someone to draw up house-plans. He’s got all these women making decisions about their kids and lives and it’s all based on a lie.
Also they are dead broke.
Also they HAVE to move together, 30 minutes away from each other!
Also he’s hitting lines...lol.. his teenage kids seem to know he’s a moron.

My assumption is they all own 4-5 "businesses" which allow them to take advantage of tax loop holes and credits. Add in a kitten caboodle of children...and you make money from taxes.
Between their religious exemptions for claiming the house, etc. & the businesses, they probably didn't pay in a ton to begin with. Their vehicles could all be claimed for a business or agriculture. Then add 17-18 dependents (depending on the year) and you have got a LOT of money coming back.
I wouldn't be surprised if they do get caught this way but with some legal creative thinking, they may need to break the law to get all their money back ++++++
