  1. Mia throws a lot of stones to live in glass car. I don't understand her saying you can't challenge someone and not expect to be challenged back. That's literally all she does is scowl, pick at people and dare someone to call her out. But nothing in this life will ever make me feel better about my resting bitch face than K.W. grimace. I was very happy to see her not look smug for almost the entire episode. She is also one of the biggest hypocrites around to be filled with such righteous indignation. The baby has only one mother but you sure don't give the same credence to your baby daddy, do ya?

Lexi is disgusting. She has been very jealous of Pearl apparently to keep trying to feed off her the way she has because it's not even necessary. Then in a heartbeat here comes the tears and I'm a victim mentality spilling out. The only reason she didn't tell whatever her boyfriend's name is about the abortion is because she knew that she screwed Pearl over again behind that.

Elena is still running around like she is not aware actions have consequences. She had no business telling Pearl about her family situation. At first she seemed to think that maybe she thought Mia finally told Pearl, but when she saw she hadn't, she should have shut up. I get hating Mia but you don't break a child down to get back at someone else. I also never understood why the girl couldn't be called Izzy when everyone else had a nickname. I was glad she said it out loud because when the other episode said that Moody wasn't his real name I was like well then why can't she have her nickname. It's not like it was crass. Izzy is very ridiculous and over the top but she isn't wrong about the name situation.

I hate a liar. Most of these people  seem to just lie, steal and scheme about so many unnecessary things. Just tell people how you really feel and stop with the passive aggression! Running around stealing just to be stealing. Then when someone actually adopts a child,  you claim it was stolen. STFU. I don't really care for anyone on this show. And I'd be perfectly fine with all of their houses getting burned down.

What was the final situation with the pictures? I didn't understand what they tried to show about the pics being all cut up. I was watching on my phone and couldn't really make it out.

At first I thought they were going to get the bipolar right and then it got stupid.  His sister would know that being in a hospital would not kill him.  It’s common to go into the hospital when the symptoms of the illness are too severe to handle.  It’s a relief for a lot of patients. And then they made Ben out to have the mind of a five year old.  Bipolar doesn’t affect someone’s IQ.  Wasted episode.

I enjoyed the episode but the bipolar people I know even off their meds (because all of them aren't compliant) still wouldn't try to act a fool with the cartel repeatedly. That was just too out there for me as well.  I don't know why Ruth wouldn't have forced him to get back on the meds. She isn't the type to leave something to chance. Not going to lie, I was happy when Ben was gone. Still think he's hot as I did back when he was on Banshee. Yum. Lol

  3. I am just stumped at the depiction of Ben being only bipolar. I've known plenty of diagnosed bipolar people and they have common sense even though they make some questionable decisions like everyone else. They made Ben seem like he had the sense of a gnat. Who tries to publicly shame someone for being a cartel member directly in their face and doesn't expect issues? He truly acted like there was something way beyond bipolar going on. He was so child like and naive to the point of blatant disregard. That said, the acting was amazing. I did tear up with Wendy all the while thinking he's got to go! He is determined to get the entire family murdered. Did anyone else suspect he was going to steal Wendy's car and leave her when they went to the gas station or run into traffic like she told him to? But I guess he was too busy trying to smuggle phones and call Helen for that. Smh.

Also, everyone that was supposed to watch that man for his own protection sucked at it. I know you shouldn't have to chain someone to a wall to keep them from calling and running to a person that wants them dead but life is a funny thing. When he left the cabin after being told not to, he should gotten restraints put on. He reminds me of about 3 different relatives of mine. Only one is bipolar though. They just like to blow things up and then act incredulous.

  4. I never read the book but Mia is so obnoxious to me. She seems to think she's so woke and everyone is grappling to catch up with her. She doesn't seem to really talk to Pearl, yet she just wants her to see the world exactly as she does. She can't even handle any disagreement with Pearl without screaming at her. She seems so preoccupied almost like she just expects zero resistance to her wisdom. She only has the one child, but she can't even finish having a conversation with Pearl before being wrapped up in someone else's issues. Also,  instead of selling her art to provide for Pearl she'd rather her child live in a car where she could have been reported and had her taken away from her by the state is unforgivable. Of course she envies the other children and craves stability! And I'm sure Mia brushes it off as an experience that will make Pearl stronger and more of a survivor. But the saying what doesn't kill you makes you stronger isn't always true. Sometimes what doesn't kill you leaves you for dead and ruins you.

Elena shouldn't have offered money for the baby. She should have known that would backfire but she was feeling guilty for bringing the drama to their house via Mia. She assumed hush money would be all that it took which was ridiculous. She also should have called Mia after calming Pearl down instead of just trying to let her spend the night. She definitely doesn't read people well and doesn't see things as they are at all. But as far as parenting goes, I'd take Elena over Mia any day. The fact that she couldn't tell that Mia hated her from day one shows she shouldn't have been in charge of baby negotiations.

And Trip! Gaslighting champ. So she gave you E.D.? He is so disgusting. If I were to stereotype a man, it would be just like him. If you are feeling buyer's remorse for trying to sleep with your brother's only friend and crush, then you shouldn't have jumped on her with zero hesitation. He is such a terrible person. I love how he made it all her fault.

  5. So Megan can't sing or find a single man? She's got a voice made for her home shower. In my best Tai from clueless voice: Megan, you're still a whore who can't sing. I love when the side chick realizes that she's not actually a unicorn and that cheaters cheat period. And I so love when they ask Michael does he love said new girl. Michael doesn't know what love is! Isn't that obvious? And if Sarah really loved her kids, she'd show them what a strong woman actually looked like.

Angela and Tony are just a mess. When you have to make a list for your fiance that includes no prostitutes, rethink things. Tony just looks like a liar. I think Clint and Angela need to give it a go together.

Still watching so I may have to add to this. Lol

So Tariq setup Tommy for Vincent to find him. Too bad Vincent is not alive to tell Tommy.

Vince did tell Tommy he found him because of Tariq. You know that child stays getting caught for his dirt until the end at least.

They couldn't find a kid with red hair to play young Tommy? Was that the kid from "Shameless"?

Yep, sure is. I like him on Shameless but he doesn't look a thing like Tommy. But then again, none of those kids matched up very closely in my opinion.

  7. This wasn't the best ending for me at all. But Tasha's schemes to frame her new boyfriend were on a Wile E Coyote level. I don't get that at all.

Also, why wouldn't Tariq just go to school online and get a degree fast paced? They have plenty of universities online and we all know that boy ain't worried about academics. Nobody would have promised Stern anything for that boy to go to school.

I hated the end where they supposedly showed  Angela, Tommy, and James at a younger age and none of them looked anything like the older characters. If that's a spin off, I will not be on board.

I only am interested in a Tommy spinoff. Glad he will have cut all ties to Tariq and Tasha due to their betrayals.  I would stay to see what Tasha's story was if Tariq wouldn't be on it. Had enough of him.

I don't know why Power thinks it has the juice for so many spinoffs when Power went off the rails so many times as is and could barely keep the writing tolerable every couple of episodes.

  8. I'm so sick of them dragging out this who shot Ghost saga. I could tell towards the end of the episode that we weren't going to find out again tonight. I mean of course folks will stick it out until the end because we're invested, but did the writers think anyone would enjoy this dragging on with each character getting an episode about their whereabouts leading up to the shooting? Ain't nobody thinking about Paz and Rashad like that!

And I'm glad James caught a slow bullet cause his mouth was just too reckless.

  9. I loved this episode. The good ones more than make up for the bad ones.

Good god though. Kate is such an awful mother. You see exactly why Tommy is cashews nuts.

I love the dialogue between Ghost and Tommy. Their drama got old but them on screen together is always magic for me.

Apparently, they had Elisa Marie taking those psychology classes. She was able to get Tommy talking and seeing himself in her. I loved their interaction together. It was everything. Kept making me think of Joe from YOU. Craziest thing on two legs but they will try to hold the crazy in and be okay with the kids. Lol

  10. This was the most boring episode of Power that I can remember. I did so much fast forwarding.  Bad acting and stupid storyline. Ugh. And for Paz to be so convinced that Tommy is guilty because Tasha said he had reason. Well, Tasha said it could have been Tommy so yeah, I'm convinced enough to go over there to kill him. What kind of logic is that?  I know that he did it but I'm just saying that was a big leap on her part. This show is ending the same way SOA did for me.

So were we supposed to feel sorry for Dre because his pious mommy had no use for him? Nah.

I didn't feel much sympathy for him over his mama being out there with browbeating him over him being such a sinner and "demon" and whatnot either.  Obviously, he got over that enough whenever he needed cash from her repeatedly. It's not like he was trying by any means to live up to her expectations anyway.

Seems to me Dre could've just killed Tate after he got the fake IDs. Whatever, I was not here for Dre and Baby Mama Tina's Bonnie & Clyde adventures in a Mercedes.

Right! I kept thinking why don't they sell that car and get some plane tickets and Uber on out of there.  And if they went to a country with no extradition, it wouldn't matter anyway. Tate was going to set the law on him not hitmen from what I gathered. And any major gangster worth his salt should have had a go-bag in place with fake paperwork, money and all that already sorted out and waiting. Dre just always thought he was so smart and could figure out and manipulate his way out of a jam. As my grandma says, he liked to keep his tail in a crack.  And Dre is so shady he didn't go back to honor his word to Tate nohow. He just wanted to finally get Ghost.

I feel the same. They keep saying "who shot Ghost?", but not who killed Ghost. No telling what they'll try to do.

  13. I was so glad to have power back and it brought the heat. There were still plot holes that had me rolling my eyes in the back of my head naturally. If Tommy had turned snitch, why would they need to keep trying to get Two Bit and Spanky to turn on him? Those two know the system well enough to know that was nonsense. That whole we think Tommy set us up at his own warehouse but yet the police are still trying to lock him up with us plot is just lunacy.

When Dre got up in that girl's face about nobody taking Heaven away from him, and she just kept acting like she was in a Lifetime movie and couldn't tell him this ain't no Ike and Tina situation, dial it down a notch, had me too in my feelings. First off, Fool, cps took this baby how many times now? And you can't walk out the house without making enemies because of how you do people so yeah, that's a good reason to get babygirl out of town among others. Then he can't stay out the streets to be home to raise his child anyway. Boy, BYE!

I hated how the plot with him ended though. He should have been shanked or turned into someone's girl. I get the guards were dirty but nobody is trying to go to jail with the people they've been arresting and guarding behind stuff that can't go unnoticed. That boy was in solitary. That's a restricted area. Only so many people could get access to him and for there to just be no one around to help sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen and heads to rolling at the least.

Also, why does Spanky think that everyone won't know why he was released from jail so fast while Two Bit is still in there?

Glad there was very little Tariq in this episode. Please kill him next and then Blanca. Her voice reminds me of Charlie Brown's teacher. Feel free to kill her by fire too.

  14. This episode was not nearly as good as I needed it to be.

I wanted to slap Ghost everytime he said how no one could stop him. And since when would Ghost confess to Tariq?? He isn't just meeting Tariq. He knows that boy is untrustworthy sloppy, slow writing. I'm also very tired of his hallucinations. Can Angela just be dead and GONE already?!

This episode didn't have enough Tommy for me.  I'm still rolling my eyes at Spanky and Two Bit supposedly thinking Tommy snitched on them.

I was hoping beyond hope that the showdown would leave Tariq with a fatal stray bullet wound. But you just know they're are trying to leave him alive for the the spin off. But they'll have to miss me with that. I've just about had all the Tariq I can stomach. He needs to die.

  16. When Mae said that Bishop disobeyed her, I hollered. Lmao! She swears she is everybody's mama. Disobeyed and forbidden?? Honey, everyone in your house except the maid has been showing out for years now.

And Sophia knows she is wrong for dating that boy. I get that Nikki isn't her friend but she's your cousin's friend. That's messy. And when Zora called her a ho and then said was glad Sophia was going back to school and Sophia said she wasn't going back, I immediately said out loud, but you're still a ho! But nah, she's just trifling for messing with him and he is going to do her in. And as always, I'm sick of her teary voice. I wish they would let her character be happy so I could stop listening to her whiny whimpering.

And for Charity to be so mad at Grace she sure won't tell her to her face. If you hate her so, look Grace dead in her face and tell her I'm fixing to burn your ish down to ashes and own it. I thought that was the whole point of revenge. Or maybe I've just been doing it wrong...

I was suprised that Kerissa admitted that she thought since Jacob was the only son that they'd get the house all to themselves. Girl, bye. I guess she wants the house and all the furniture that would come with it. Go tell your boyfriend to get you a house. Jacob wants to stay with his mama.

  17. Why would Tommy's crew assume he would set them up? He isn't exactly a loose ends type of guy. They know all about his organization.

Benny certainly went out without a bang. I guess he wanted to use a knife to make Tommy suffer longer but apparently he needed to get some more upper arm strength first.

I love how Tasha and Tariq both know each other so well. He could just look at her and tell she killed Keisha.

And why would Tash let the detectives in her apartment after all that just happened? I would have told them I want to help and I want her case solved, but I won't talk to either of you.

And on Dre planting the phone that just screams unlikely and planted.  So James kills Silva gets away with it for how long now? But yet, he just refuses to get rid of the victim's phone. In fact, he wants to keep it so badly that he moves it with him everytime he moves. So even after his place got shot up and he had swarms of cops there he still decided yes, I still want to keep this phone in my new place.

I also hate how Ghost kept arguing with Tariq. He just always has to get the last word and try to one up everyone. He is such a petty little hypocrite. He wants to be so respected and unquestioned but he is such a piece of crap himself and never takes any responsibility. It's always someone else's fault. Tariq doesn't respect him because he acted so ridiculous for so long. Then he bails him out of every problem all while just fussing and making idle threats. He is such a joke.

  18. Good grief. That was the ugliest shirt ever that Charity was wearing. Running around acting out and dressed like a joke. She is really losing it. And that sermon she was giving in the mirror about pride... Lawdy! She needs to be on some pills. Seriously. She seems delusional about her standings. First, she thought she was going to hell for her schemes now she's preaching the gospel.

The theme of this episode seems to be that lying just runs in that family.  I mean, even nonessential lies are thrown around for good measure.  I don't have to divulge or lie to one sibling about what I'm arguing about with a different one. "What y'all arguing about?" "Uh, the songs!" Like what? Don't worry about it would have been a sufficient enough answer. Y'all are grown, beyond grown. Man the eff up and stop lying about any and everything!

And I'm sick of the sound of Sophie's voice. She always sounds like she's on the verge of tears. Ugh, drives me crazy with the whining.  And she's lying her butt off too but I know that's cause she doesn't feel she owes Grace complete honesty after all her lies.

Kerissa has about all the sense of a crazy/ villain Lifetime character. She couldn't get the living room furniture now she's scheming wanting the entire house. Lol Why don't you have your new boyfriend buy you a couch and some tables or something if you can't afford furniture? Soon she'll have secret insurance policies out on Mae and Bishop.

And when A.J. made that comment about Sophia being light skinned and pretty and him being a black man in America I was like nah, son. That boy is half a shade darker than Sophia. I get that he's still a black male, but don't throw shade about her being light when you're just as light. Was anyone suprised that after refusing to say he didn't steal the pills to anyone besides Grace that he stole the pills? I was so tickled. Everyone knew he took those pills!

And I did feel bad for Keisha - she really really REALLY was not about that life (she looked shocked at the idea that their house was bought with drug money, like, girl, come the fuck on).

She didn't know what she really wanted. She kept acting like she was about it because she wanted his attention and was so intimidated by his relationship with Tasha. But she really didn't want to get her hands dirty. I don't know why she was so determined to fake the funk. She should have just left when he told her to. She just didn't want to admit to herself or the rest of them that she wasn't about that life. I knew it wasn't for her but I didn't think she'd roll over that fast. She didn't even wait to be put in cuffs or taken to the station before she went to signing papers without reading them.

And was anyone suprised that Cash immediately told Tommy what happened? Lol

She should have known that was going to happen.

  20. I get that Lakeisha was wanting to get Cash back right away, but it's not like a friend of the family couldn't have gotten him released into their custody. She was a fool to sign and should have gotten on the phone with an attorney and just followed the police car.  She just buckled with zero hesitation. If you were that worried about things being messy for your child, perhaps Tommy wasn't the ideal boyfriend? But let her tell it, he was going to retire from the game and they'd all live in the suburbs. I don't feel sorry for her at all. But my heart did break for Cash.

I was happy to see Tate come back at Ghost. Ghost always thinks he can do whatever and just walk away clean and smug.

Kate knows she is a fool trying to move up in that house. I bet the second she finds out Keisha is gone, mommy dearest with be back with bells on and a pan of lasagna.

  21. Charity is a pathetic little worm. I used to feel sorry for her but she's so gleeful about her shady business. It's sickening. It would be bad enough if she was betraying her family just out of ambition. But to do it also to land a man, that's just so trifling. Talking about she'll want a hug afterwards. Is it that hard for you to find someone, Boo? Someone please make her a profile on match.com already.

Kerissa needs to go on and leave Jacob. She should have filed for divorce and had them split the land sale money then use the second check/hush money towards getting her own place. But honestly, they both deserve each other. I do think the cheating indiscretion will come back to haunt her. I'm kinda looking forward to Jacob finding out though since he thinks he's the only one that can find some new tail.

A.J. should have just answer yes or no. I can't stand folks that will answer with everything but what you specifically ask them. They don't know you and you have a record period. Say no, and if they don't believe you then that's on them. But he was acting crazy shady. At the least of it, he was being childish. Yes, Mae came on strong but he has been acting suspect about money and threats and deserves a bit of scrutiny. And if he doesn't want to be questioned and doesn't care about anyone else's feelings about him, great. Stay out my house and I won't worry about if you steal or don't long as it isn't from me.
