  1. Veronica basically chose Reggie knowing something was heating up with Archie. Then her response when Archie confronted her of course made it seem like if Archie would have arrived first, they would have gotten back together. That was cold on Vs part. Mary saying the word Endgame was cringe-worthy. I want to like Archie/Veronica mainly because I'm not interested in any Archie/Betty/Jughead triangle. That said, Archie/Veronica, unless they fix their issues, really are toxic and not good for each other. Is all hope lost? No. But they need to fix stuff instead of immediately hitting the sheets or else they will break up once again. Archie is way better off single right now. Or he should go follow Josie who really was the best girlfriend/romantic relationship he's ever had.
  2. I haven't seen the entire episode because... sports. But man, the moments I saw were pretty good. Of course, insane. This show is the definition of insane. I thought the Cheryl ILY to Toni was touching and probably the most selfless thing she's ever done in her life. Jason is the GK? A theory is Chic is impersonating Jason. The organ surgery is a level of crazy this show has never seen. More after I watch in full!
  3. What I don’t understand is why they are acting like Nora is permanently staying in 2019. This isn’t her timeline. I don’t understand why they don’t realize there could be side effects to her staying.
  4. I thought Iris was awesome in this one. Sure, her saying she didn't care about Nora working with Thawne was out of line but here's the thing... Iris was reacting like a mother who lost her child. She was going to do or say anything in an attempt to get her daughter back. That was the point to Iris in my opinion which is why Barry sucked for bringing up Nora once hating her. Everything Iris did and said last night was as a mother hurt, panicked, wanting her child back.
  5. I wish I could answer your question about the real Charles and Chic. I am wondering the same. It's so confusing. If anyone knows, would appreciate it. Regarding the episode... The scenes between Lili Reinhart and Mädchen Amick were so good. Wow, they are both amazing actresses. In the end, it makes sense why Betty lets her mother rejoin The Farm. She realizes no matter what she does (and yes, she did go to an extreme, but we see so many shows also going there, even Veronica Mars) but she tried so hard to save her. She does have Toni though and can I just say how much I adore the Betty/Toni partnership? "You're a daughter who wants her mother back, just as I want my girlfriend back," Toni tells Betty. Hopefully these two figure it out together, especially with Toni directly inside now and those idiot Farmies not suspecting a thing. Betty's fear of being a monster makes so much sense and I love when Toni without hesitation told her she is not a monster. I loved that moment. Not that Betty seemed to be totally over her fears but it was still a great scene. Betty is not over what her psychopath father did. This is very true. Her mom abused her well before this time too. It's no wonder Betty is questioning her sanity/darkness. She will get through it. But Hal wanting to come home... I mean, in what world is that even possible? Even in Riverdale's world there's no way... but I am sure he will try to once again manipulate his daughter's mind in order to get there, even in a crazy way. I am slightly worried about Betty... not too much with Edgar and The Farm based on what Edgar said to Betty... Betty doesn't need them, Alice, does. This is true. They don't even want Betty. But my fear is more about Hal and what he might do to her. Hope she stays strong. Toni and Cheryl had some great scenes (so much chemistry between the actresses, you can feel how close they are off the screen) and while it's disappointing to see Cheryl still addicted to The Farm (even if it makes sense because, like her cousin, she hasn't dealt with her demons either, with the death of her brother on top of the list)... their moments were nice. Really hope Archie doesn't go find more bears if that idiot boxer is really dead. He suspected he was on something so if he's thinking straight, he will know blood testing will prove he died due to the drugs, not the fight. Archie/Veronica having a moment. Fred's reaction to them was spot on. So much chemistry still between the characters. I just hope when they reunite, it's not all physical once again. Please, show. Allow them to talk and have an emotional connection too instead of just having sex every couple of minutes. They are better than that. We did get a couple of Core 4, Archie/Betty/Jughead/Veronica scenes. I really hope they continue. The actor who plays Kurtz is crazy good. He looks scary just based on nonverbal communication. Jellybean is now in the clutches of the Gargoyle King... really wish Jug would have mentioned that Gladys is currently in charge of the drug operation in Riverdale. I know they are saving this reveal for the worst and biggest possible moment (probably the season finale) but for storyline and character purposes, it should have happened yesterday. - Loved when Archie was eating a ton of burgers and said he feels like Jughead. Nice nod to the comics. - Thanks to Cheryl, we now know that kombucha brewing is one of The Farm's regular activities. - I still can't believe FP or Jughead have zero police experience yet they are running the town. - Alice as a reporter showed up in this episode even with everything else going on, especially between mother/daughter. - I have a feeling there's twist after twist with Edgar. His backstory is going to be very interesting. - Evelyn looked terrified when Betty threatened her. Good. She better be scared. - Edgar's slip up about "miracles" gives us a clue as to how he's making Alice and Cheryl believe they are seeing deceased love ones. - Jughead eating all episode was hilarious. - When Betty casually tells Toni her dad's calling her... it seemed so abnormally creepy. Like... that shouldn't be a natural comment from Betty... he's a psychopath. She literally has no one though for family. Father's a psychopath, mother's out there and has been so horrible to her for years, sister's a flake. Looking forward to the next one! Lastly... there's speculation flying around that maybe Jason's not dead.
  6. - Betty/Veronica scene... so brief but so beautiful. Second scene at The Farm, too, was brief but at least they're now sharing some scenes together. - It's so funny because Evelyn absolutely knows there's no way on earth Betty's joining (willingly). The "interview" was all kinds of hilarious. - I'm so confused... in season 1, the insinuation was Gladys and Jellybean left Riverdale to get away from FP and his alcoholism/dead beat ways. Gladys makes FP and his alcoholism look like a toddler getting into trouble. Gladys is the worst and it was conjured up out of thin air. The story really lacks continuity. - It's clear TPTB are portraying Scientology = The Farm with Edgar as the leader but fall short of making it 100% obvious. Edgar is narcissist with sociopathic tendencies... as a Clinical Psychologist, that’s my take, LOL. - I just don't understand why Veronica is so desperate to keep her family together. She basically wanted to divorce her parents. Yes, it's true, divorce is tough for a child to endure, no matter the age, but it's just weird how Veronica is taking it so hard. She's worried about the wrong things. I mean, I could see her worried about her mother's safety (she sent the dead fish not even out of worry for her mother, just to keep them from divorcing, she basically used the protection angle as a card to play)... more like the side effects OF the divorce but not the actual divorce since that was set in stone to happen for a while now. She does need to lean on others like Betty and Jughead who have had it way worse. - Jughead just hanging out at Archie's, eating, lol, even commenting on eating is so fun. We need more of this! I also loved when they joined forces with the Serpents, Mad Dog, and the others in an attempt to take down the druggies in the apartment. - I like Keller connected to Archie's gym, so at least one adult is around to make sure it is clean and safe. However, does he know what his son is up to? He might want to check in with Kevin. - Archie asking for Veronica's help made me smile. They will reunite. Also, their "operation" worked out perfectly. Take that, crooked Gov. - It was interesting to find out the real reason why Veronica dumped Archie. It wasn't for Reggie. She chose her family, period. I mean, we saw this overall but it was nice for Veronica to spell it out to the audience. More proof she will turn to Archie soon knowing she made a grave mistake choosing her family over Archie, who essentially will end up being her real family (along with Betty/Jughead). - I love how Betty had to get Cheryl a shake/malt in order for her to even listen to what she was requesting. Haha. I also love Cheryl making fun of Jughead's hat. I have my issues with Cheryl but MP plays her so perfectly she just cracks me up sometimes. - Cheryl, until her brainwash, was interesting (and I love the two cousins working together) but I hope her cult connection is short. Where is Toni? They were working things out, you'd think they'd be in a semi-honeymoon period again. Does she know about any of this? Would love to see Toni and Betty team up and save Cheryl. The thing is... we witnessed a hint of foreshadowing when Cheryl was telling Toni about Jason... it is very true... Cheryl has not truly gotten over losing her brother. She has so many emotional scars and pain deep inside of her. It's weird to say but this cult storyline might, in the end, help her finally heal from the loss of her brother. Not with The Farm helping her, but once she's free from the cult, she'll realize she needs to grieve and in a healthy way... finally. - I forgot about Jason telling Polly they were running away to The Farm. That is actually great continuity. - I know it's beyond ridiculous that FP is Sheriff and a gang would be undercover detectives but I think it's awesome. I rather see the Serpents use passion on worthy things instead of just hanging around being boring or doing bad stuff. - Betty and Jughead continue to demonstrate how perfect they are together. This is THE stable, solid as a rock relationship of the show. Don't mess with them, writers. They are too pure. - I really think Jughead needs to tell FP the truth. Gladys is evil allowing him to almost get killed. I don’t really understand her deal. Is this the same person who called Fred to help Archie and seemed concerned about her son? I mean, we saw her reject Jug when he called that one time (horrible) but overall she seemed to care about him slightly when they went to Toledo and now all the sudden she’s acting like she loathes him and wishes him death? What the heck. - Did Archie catch Kurtz? - The last scene with poor Baby Teeth was creepy. - Theories on how The Farm makes its members "see" their dead loved ones... drugs have to be involved. Don’t think it’s supernatural. LR mentioned at a Con supernatural wasn’t on this show. Of course she might have just meant G&G but I don’t think it’s supernatural. Drugs and maybe even hypnotism. - Jughead's "this is the best pillow talk ever" was so cute. - CMM continues to have the perfect Cult Leader presence. He's brilliant.
  7. Right? There's so many little things that seem to point in a certain direction. Maybe we are giving the show too much credit but this list is tough to totally ignore.
  8. Precisely. Let's do this! LOL. Seriously, it would get Bughead away from their horrible parents and they are so real and strong together, it would work. It's interesting Jughead even asked Betty to move in with them. Betty told Veronica she was staying with her. Maybe that's another bit of foreshadowing... it's not right now but it will be soon. I'm twisting this but you never know, lol. I just can't see Jughead living in the ex-Cooper house without Betty. It seems weird. Trailer is gone. Betty has zero family to speak of unless she wants to live with The Farm or prison with her psychopath father. Bughead need to elope and get a place together!
  9. That's true! I hope all of these little "proposal"moments are foreshadowing. Bughead is so stable and real, they could be the Naley of Riverdale, marrying early, and getting away from horrible parents. LOL.
  10. I rewatched some scenes in this episode... When Bughead and Choni were singing “Can’t we be seventeen?” and Jughead goes down on one knee... I admit it, I thought it looked like the perfect moment to propose, lol. Seriously, I don't think it was a coincidence he went on one knee there, you were meant to think proposal (even if it wasn't happening). I love that moment. 😄
  11. Makes complete sense. Totally agree!
  12. He sounds too sweet. I feel like I just overdosed on sugar, lol.
  13. I didn’t watch it in full yet but we got so many Bughead moments! Passionate moments! Yay! Back when I watch the entire episode.
  14. Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa wrote this episode. Coincidence? I don't think so. This was one of the better episodes of the series because Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa understands the characters. He put heart and soul into this episode, you can absolutely feel it in every scene. Core 4 in various combinations were highlighted. Coincidence? No way. I really wish he could write every episode and/or instruct the other writers to please use his formula. It works. Absolutely everything just felt so ON in this episode. It was refreshing. Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, write, write, write. Thanks. - Reggie standing up for himself to Veronica was good. I actually feel kind of sorry for him but the problem with Reggie is the character is not fleshed out at all. We know his dad has beat him which is huge yet there was zero follow up. We can't really connect. I still felt a tad sorry for him. Then again, it was really obvious very early on Veronica simply wasn't that into him. Veronica is a good person deep down... but she also was raised by two mobster, murdering parents in a filthy rich environment. Of course there's going to be side effects as a result. So even if she was "mean" to Reggie, she was being honest and her true self. She works way better with someone like Archie for a romantic partner and Betty and Jughead for friends because they don't put up with her sht. They keep her grounded, less cold and selfish. - Choni anger sex... The actresses are on fire with chemistry (BFF off the screen, you can tell) during their scenes. I’m glad Toni is sticking up for herself. - Jughead and Gladys trailer scene was good writing and acting. Cole and Gina were bringing it. I read that they hit it off the second Gina started working on the set. You can tell. Nonverbal communication so profound. - Jughead's speech was amazing, Cole was brilliant. - I liked the FP/Jughead moment in the police car. - The Fred/FP moment... seriously... when you listen to the words exchanged... man, it's almost like it was spiritually motivated... in advance. Those words just ring true so much... - Still don't trust Hiram with Archie. I am expecting some sort of twist. - I've never really supported FP and Alice (Alice is too nuts and just a horrible mother) but when Alice asked FP if he loved her... it was pretty sad. Skeet and Madchen bring a nice chemistry. - I loved watching the Archie/Betty/Jughead trio so much! What a terrific reminder of how long they’ve been friends. Betty and Jughead certainly are the intellectuals in order to get sht done. I just love these three together. - Bughead! Perfect. They are so real and natural. You almost feel like they have been together their entire lives. They are that one high school couple that everyone thinks will marry because they’re so real and smooth sailing together. That end scene with the grinning was sizzling. - Betty and Veronica scene... finally! I really enjoyed this episode. This show is the definition of insane but when you give me episodes with heart and soul sporting the Core 4 (in different combinations) I’m always going to be satisfied.
  15. Hopefully next season will be better. I guess we have to hope, lol. Bughead remaining together, Archie/Josie new dynamic, really are the moments I embrace (even if I want more Bughead). Have to embrace the good since there's so much bad.
