  1. Fenna!! Her appearing for three seconds made the entire thing worth it!! Ahem. I liked a lot, as usual, but I am also unhappy about a few things. Relieved, SO SO relieved that David is still a priest and hopefully not ever going to be romantically with Kristen. So disappointed that they left Ben behind. Hopefully that six months stays just six months and they can all be together again. Disappointed Leland's alive, but not at all surprised by it for multiple reasons. Definitely do not buy that he was PROTECTING Kristen for four years or whatever, because what? And as is my usual complaint here... I will never not be annoyed at how they handled (or lack thereof) Andy's whole thing. I guess we're just supposed to take it as-is that he abandoned his family and cheated and may or may not have watched the usb thing--and if he did, he apparently didn't care what was on it? Sure. Of course. I know they had next to know time but that was the weakest part of this entire SERIES, period. Kristen and Andy always had issues, but damn. This was just disrespectful on multiple levels. Sigh. Anyway. I will miss these characters a lot, and I would also like to state for the record that I loved the girls from the very start and that makes me awesome. 😉
  2. Leland and David were hilarious a few times. Leland just like "I would've just opened the door!!" and "I just want her to curse god so I can defile her" or whatever. and of course the puppy video. :D Fantastic. I want him to be killed SO BADLY but I also can't really see it happening if everyone on the show has/had any hope at all of someone else picking it up. Leland's the main bad guy! I hate that the church is absolutely punishing Sister Angela by sending her to the silent place. I hate that so so much is never going to be wrapped up in one more episode. I hate that we're apparently just taking all the Andy stuff at a surface level reading. I wish Kristen watching her double's video at the end showed her she should just go ahead and have multiple romantic partners and make everyone happy (though I would also want Andy there anyway so what's the point now! I'm only half kidding). Missed the girls again, too.
  3. See, I even FORGOT about that when watching, and now I'm just more annoyed! It's just Kristen pissed at him for another thing she could've found the truth for but was too stubborn to! (While I'm speaking of things I'm annoyed at her for: she's so perceptive to little pauses and looks all the time, yet she didn't seem to notice Kurt and Leslie looking freaked out when they look in Leland's/the lawyer's direction? Sigh. ;P But also: NOOO, LESLIE! I liked her! Even though it kinda seemed like she was back on Leland's side for a minute there. She was cute and clearly actually loved Timothy, too! Dammit, Richard Kind. The OnlyFans thing was HILARIOUS. I also caught Lilah saying she lies all the time as they were walking out. No wonder Lynn wants to be a nun when surrounded by all this chaos ;) Nate Corddry was Paul! I naturally had to immediately wonder if he and Aasif ever overlapped at The Daily Show; probably not because Nate wasn't on very often, and I don't think Aasif was there when Rob was... Anyway. I feel so bad for David. :( But also please don't leave the priesthood over this, David. Sister Angela's right about you!!
  4. Right?? Which reminds me how annoying I also found the line about David being their new dad. Like, Lexis was likely just being funny about it (while they're all supposed to be hurt and confused about their father, but okay) but also--DAVID? Ben the Magnificent has been around far more than David has! It just seemed like another little 'ha ha look at how evvvveryone can see how soulmatey they are!' thing, which is. Never actually used for things it would be true in, honestly.
  5. THIS. I know they had to wrap things up quickly after being canceled but dear lord, that whole storyline was icksome as hell to me. And I'm not religious at all but I think it would be gross to end with David leaving the priesthood. They really should've just. Not ever started it with them, but alas, I am in the minority there. Honestly, after what they just did to Andy, I kind of wish they HAD just killed him instead. At least then the characters that were supposed to love him would still do so. This way just feels mean. And I love Kristen, I truly do, but holy crap, girl, you have been flirting with and emotionally cheating on your husband since season one, not to mention the literal cheating. Be hurt and angry, absolutely, but it's frustrating as hell to know that with the way she is, she'll probably never eventually realize just how hypocritical she is. I really hope there IS more to this story, what with the flash drive and Andy vanishing immediately and us never actually seeing his apparent girlfriend's face. I don't hold much hope for this storyline, though. In happier news, Lilah gets a wife!! I love it. (Which leads to still wonder if Ellie really is future Laura or not--she knew a lot that she could've learned from Andy, sure, but other stuff? Liiike, I can't see Andy or Sheryl on the flashdrive mention Lilah seeming not straight to them, as hilarious as it'd be. ;P Also did Andy even know Lynn wants to be a nun? The Lexis and Timothy stuff could be from the flashdrive, but the B+ student thing? Nah, I find it more likely to be weirdly true that she's Laura OR as someone else said, be a plant from the Leland side of things, still making sure to ruin their lives.)
  6. I can definitely see why that would've been the season finale. I also thought Sister Andrea was about to die thanks to seeing that weird demon ghost thing that the super believable astrologist or whatever talked about at the start of the episode ;P I am...very eye-rolly over the Kristen and David stuff. as always. Just let them be friends!! They're so good as friends! Sure, I ship the OT3 and enjoy Kristen with her various lady crushes, but in canon, in the actual show? She still does love Andy!! Although you'd never know it with the way she apparently would give both lives to David and nothing for Andy. Awesome. 🙃 I'm starting to agree that he should greet her with divorce papers at this point. Other than all of that--I also cried a bit in that Sheryl scene. Kristen so obviously cycling through like forty different emotions and grief winning in the end. The girls' goodbyes that were really more of them begging her to stay. David's everything he said to her!! I reeeeally need someone to kill Leland. With the way this show is--so many plotlines not having endings or having unhappy ones--I kinda am resigned to him making it out alive (especially with them all still wanting more of the show to do) but I sure would love it if he didn't! Also! Sheryl's video! I wonder if we'll see or hear more of it; I hope so. I wonder if she explained EVERYTHING, including that room being where they kept Andy, and everything that happened to him. If she mentioned Leland's plan to kill Laura. If she mentioned any of this to whatever she also gave to Andy! It'd be lovely if she apologized for at least some of it to him.
  7. Yeah, as someone else said...there absolutely WAS, since the very first season. It just took this long (last episode) to actually put it into words, and I for one am thrilled, though wish it had been even clearer from the start. 😌 I'm actually super intrigued by David's arc this season, and getting pretty concerned for his mental health. I'm also missing scenes of Kristen and the girls even though it's only been like two episodes. And as much as I mostly don't like Sheryl, I am cheering her on so hard right now. I've always believed she loves her family a lot, but she's also so selfish with it; not caring that getting rid of Andy would of course devastate her family because it meant she'd be able to spend time with them again, etc. But by all means, Sheryl, use that protectiveness for good again and STOMP LELAND'S HEAD!! Last thought: needs more Ben, as usual.
  8. Finally someone else mentions the truly important part of the episode: Kristen had girlfriends!! We love a bisexual Kristen!! ðŸĨ° But in other news, the end part on the plane was seriously creepy to me, for various reasons. Kristen singing was hilarious, Ben was amazing as always, David's reactions about Kristen singing was hilarious, the girls remain adorable and great, I still worry about Andy, and... Sheryl. Hey. Hey, Sheryl, come here. Maybe if you missed your granddaughters so much and so sweetly, maaaaybe you should maaaybe think about, I dunno, getting rid of Leland FOR FOREVER since he plotted to have your youngest one horribly murdered! Perhaps?? Yeah?? Man, I wonder what explanation she has for the kids about the baby being their brother. They're either gonna think their mom cheated (and...hid a pregnancy?), their dad cheated I guess??, or if Leland gets mentioned...yikes. They don't like Leland (because they're smart).
  9. The absolute terror I felt, like all of you, with that Andy and Laura bit!! I was instantaneously imagining all of the horrible outcomes--Kristen or one of the other girls waking to stop him in time but violently, actually succeeding and killing Laura, and exactly what actually did happen! Though I definitely thought he died right there, and imagine the girls waking to THAT :( I NEED everyone to know the truth about this by the end. I need Kristen to know Andy is not an addict and that Leland and her own mother made this happen. I need Sheryl to know Leland tried to murder her youngest granddaughter, because part of her still loves them a lot. I need ANDY to know he's not losing it! And why didn't the girls tell their mother about the phone call and Andy in the bathtub! I really, really need Leland to not make it out of this show. He's such a great character and sometimes incredibly amusing, but I could not loathe him any more right now. In other news! Sister Andrea is the best, and that scene with her and Father Ignatius was just so so lovely. I just would've appreciated it slightly more if I wasn't so sure Andy was dead at that moment. 😜 OH and of course I forgot to mention the...forgetting plot. The way the three of them sounded just like me basically every day of my life is...not NOT concerning. heh.
  10. I absolutely can't stand Sheryl when it comes to her family, but I can't help but be on her side in subplots like this, where she does something great against evil. If only she'd actually lean into joining the Correct Side and taking down the bad guys from the inside! Also the girls and Ben, and the girls and Andy were both super sweet scenes!! They were so supportive to both men, and WOW I hope they tell their mother about what happened with their dad. Them apologizing for being too loud and Andy saying that's never a problem was so lovely. (and the song!! a consent song!!) (I'm also sooo glad it seems like that won't be dragged out too much, since people are already noticing Weirdness. Though I live in fear of a bad ending for poor Andy. :( sorry, I just think they're all such a good family, and I'm still not here for Kristen/David romantically. He and Ben being part of that good family, yes!) I'm annoyed at how cute the show made the robot dog ðŸĪŠ
  11. I actually cried a little at the ending and I didn't know I liked the Monsignor that much?? I mean, it was likely because of his last words, but still. ...Can't help but be relieved it wasn't Grace though. I love her. Continue to love Kristen's daughters, too. Terrified about Andy. Still disgusted with Sheryl. Still absolutely adore Ben and his sister. As too-far-gone as Kurt is, I still thought it was cute how happy he was that the girls liked his book. Also, Laura saying he needs to END it, not leave things open-ended, made me think of this board and people not pleased with how many plots on the show aren't really ENDED-ended. 😇 For a moment I wondered if the pen from the bank (or wherever) had something to do with the passing of the shadow demon thing, ha. I can't believe there's only one episode left!!
  12. I feel like the nights on this show last at least two full days each with how much traveling these people do all in the dark. 😜 The ending with the couple was so creepy and sad. :( Obviously it's very possible that the baby WAS killing Valerie, but it's also possible Logan just...thought it was? I dunno. I do wish it had lasted more than one episode, after all the build up about Kristen's egg the whole show! Very glad Lexis apparently can't see the manager boss dude, but also: why is Sheryl talking to Leland about Lexis like this!! Why doesn't she care about her granddaughters anymore!! Ugh! I know Kristen isn't exactly around a lot but I so need her to notice her mother should not be involved with her kids anymore. Happy to see Grace again!! Although again, how does time pass on this show?! She seemed to appear within hours! Lastly, as always, I love Ben. I need more scenes of Ben and David, honestly, but I adore Ben and Kristen's friendship so much. I never tire of their scenes, either. Glad he seems to know about the Entity stuff too, not just Kristen.
  13. You'd think she'd have a line, wouldn't you? She barely even reacted (that we saw) to Leland saying it was time to make her granddaughters orphans! Like. Does she not KNOW those are the specific kids (brilliantly, hilariously) driving him mad? She claims she doesn't want to hurt Kristen, and she had all those pretty words to poor Andy about how well they'll all do without him, but... I dunno, I don't really NOT have confidence that she could handle Leland if it came to it, but at this point I just wonder if she'd even bother, if he tried to kill her daughter and granddaughters. She's just getting worse. Anyway. I know it's not popular, but I really like Andy. I was...not happy to see this reveal, though I did assume, as others had, that he was probably actually already dead. This doesn't seem much better though! (Also, I don't really agree with the apparently widely-held opinion that he's a shitty husband. Their circumstances have obviously been hard, but they've always been trying to make it so they can be in the same place. Sadly, money is a thing that is needed, which is why this evil plan worked in the first place. And back in first season, he told Kristen it was her turn to go climb and he'd stay at home and she told him otherwise. Plus, you know, the whole her-cheating-on-him thing. I dunno, I shouldn't like them as a couple at all, honestly, but I sadly think they're cute when together and Kristen isn't possibly possessed.) In other news, the girls kicking Leland's ass again: BRILLIANT, SHOW-STOPPING, EMMY WORTHY, etc etc. I love them, and I loved his reaction to them actually saying his name, and I cackled at the girls excitedly deciding to burn the pig's house down. HA! Ben reacting to that cotton candy dryer thing was also hilarious. But seriously guys, just DELETE and UNINSTALL the app!! Come on!! The employee at VidTAP or whatever was a cutie, and Kristen asking if she was Ben's girlfriend was giggly-hilarious too. Not that we ever found out what happened with Vanessa...and Maggie. Ahem. The case of the episode was creepy and creepier still with the reveal. Curious about David's strong reaction to Sister Andrea in his room; felt a bit over the top to how he might've reacted if he hadn't just been, you know. Getting his brain or whatever sucked out by a demon. Intriguing!
  14. Andy :( Loved Sister Andrea's apology to David, loved David's way of helping her, love how this show doesn't shy away from any of the Hot Topics of Catholicism. Also loved the beginning--which was sad and horrific, but also amusing how poor David kept getting questioned because he didn't have his collar. I kinda like Sheryl's interactions with her new assistant (?) and the office manager or whatever he said he was. ...The guy who sees the boss as Ted Danson, not the boss-demon, I mean. 😜
  15. 😆 My thoughts exactly! This case was probably the creepiest to me since E is for Elevator! Still not to that level, though, since the explanation of this was...an explanation. Absolutely! I was thrilled for her. :D Seconding all the love for the Happy Together singalong. "Love" how Sheryl's advice is to basically drop any guy the first time he does something wrong, and yet she made excuse after excuse for Leland even after Kristen told her he had threatened the girls back in first season. 🙄
