  1. I actually cried a little at the ending and I didn't know I liked the Monsignor that much?? I mean, it was likely because of his last words, but still. ...Can't help but be relieved it wasn't Grace though. I love her. Continue to love Kristen's daughters, too. Terrified about Andy. Still disgusted with Sheryl. Still absolutely adore Ben and his sister. As too-far-gone as Kurt is, I still thought it was cute how happy he was that the girls liked his book. Also, Laura saying he needs to END it, not leave things open-ended, made me think of this board and people not pleased with how many plots on the show aren't really ENDED-ended. 😇 For a moment I wondered if the pen from the bank (or wherever) had something to do with the passing of the shadow demon thing, ha. I can't believe there's only one episode left!!
  2. I feel like the nights on this show last at least two full days each with how much traveling these people do all in the dark. 😜 The ending with the couple was so creepy and sad. :( Obviously it's very possible that the baby WAS killing Valerie, but it's also possible Logan just...thought it was? I dunno. I do wish it had lasted more than one episode, after all the build up about Kristen's egg the whole show! Very glad Lexis apparently can't see the manager boss dude, but also: why is Sheryl talking to Leland about Lexis like this!! Why doesn't she care about her granddaughters anymore!! Ugh! I know Kristen isn't exactly around a lot but I so need her to notice her mother should not be involved with her kids anymore. Happy to see Grace again!! Although again, how does time pass on this show?! She seemed to appear within hours! Lastly, as always, I love Ben. I need more scenes of Ben and David, honestly, but I adore Ben and Kristen's friendship so much. I never tire of their scenes, either. Glad he seems to know about the Entity stuff too, not just Kristen.
  3. You'd think she'd have a line, wouldn't you? She barely even reacted (that we saw) to Leland saying it was time to make her granddaughters orphans! Like. Does she not KNOW those are the specific kids (brilliantly, hilariously) driving him mad? She claims she doesn't want to hurt Kristen, and she had all those pretty words to poor Andy about how well they'll all do without him, but... I dunno, I don't really NOT have confidence that she could handle Leland if it came to it, but at this point I just wonder if she'd even bother, if he tried to kill her daughter and granddaughters. She's just getting worse. Anyway. I know it's not popular, but I really like Andy. I was...not happy to see this reveal, though I did assume, as others had, that he was probably actually already dead. This doesn't seem much better though! (Also, I don't really agree with the apparently widely-held opinion that he's a shitty husband. Their circumstances have obviously been hard, but they've always been trying to make it so they can be in the same place. Sadly, money is a thing that is needed, which is why this evil plan worked in the first place. And back in first season, he told Kristen it was her turn to go climb and he'd stay at home and she told him otherwise. Plus, you know, the whole her-cheating-on-him thing. I dunno, I shouldn't like them as a couple at all, honestly, but I sadly think they're cute when together and Kristen isn't possibly possessed.) In other news, the girls kicking Leland's ass again: BRILLIANT, SHOW-STOPPING, EMMY WORTHY, etc etc. I love them, and I loved his reaction to them actually saying his name, and I cackled at the girls excitedly deciding to burn the pig's house down. HA! Ben reacting to that cotton candy dryer thing was also hilarious. But seriously guys, just DELETE and UNINSTALL the app!! Come on!! The employee at VidTAP or whatever was a cutie, and Kristen asking if she was Ben's girlfriend was giggly-hilarious too. Not that we ever found out what happened with Vanessa...and Maggie. Ahem. The case of the episode was creepy and creepier still with the reveal. Curious about David's strong reaction to Sister Andrea in his room; felt a bit over the top to how he might've reacted if he hadn't just been, you know. Getting his brain or whatever sucked out by a demon. Intriguing!
  4. Andy :( Loved Sister Andrea's apology to David, loved David's way of helping her, love how this show doesn't shy away from any of the Hot Topics of Catholicism. Also loved the beginning--which was sad and horrific, but also amusing how poor David kept getting questioned because he didn't have his collar. I kinda like Sheryl's interactions with her new assistant (?) and the office manager or whatever he said he was. ...The guy who sees the boss as Ted Danson, not the boss-demon, I mean. 😜
  5. 😆 My thoughts exactly! This case was probably the creepiest to me since E is for Elevator! Still not to that level, though, since the explanation of this was...an explanation. Absolutely! I was thrilled for her. :D Seconding all the love for the Happy Together singalong. "Love" how Sheryl's advice is to basically drop any guy the first time he does something wrong, and yet she made excuse after excuse for Leland even after Kristen told her he had threatened the girls back in first season. 🙄
  6. and again I say that any scenes with the girls and Ben are a big win! Poor, poor Ben. I also adore him with his sister, and am sooo glad she's been around more this season! Hope that continues. the girls' ten commandments are...concerning, for the most part. the sisters before misters part's good at least. 😛 Sheryl is such a conundrum for me; I'm totally on her side for getting rid of Leland's spy and being in charge, but at the same time...I can't fully like her? I don't know. it's very confusing. I wonder if Kristen sticking up for Sister Andrea was coming from the same reasons she'd stick up for David--namely that if their stuff gets results, she'll accept it--or if it was because she knew Leland was behind it and wanted to piss him off again. I mean, probably both. But I enjoyed the women's exchange after that; nice and understanding! and seriously, I just never tire of how terrified Leland is of Sister Andrea.
  7. It's so predictable for Andy to die or otherwise...vanish, so I've been expecting it from the start, but I still hate it. I LIKE Andy, and while I do think Sheryl legitimately adores her granddaughters, I definitely think he's better for them than her. I also actually think he and Kristen are really cute together when they're like, allowed to BE together and she isn't maybe-possessed. 😛 Lynn seems like such a good kid. also the girls' solution for punching a teacher was pretty clever! Also-also, any scene and moment of any of them with Ben is always ALWAYS a win.
  8. Finally catching up on the show! My thoughts are mostly repeats of others so this is likely pointless but I like throwing in my agreements when I can. 😜 I looove the girls still! They're so fun and realistic, and I was so worried about Lexis until the reveal that she knew it was Leland all along. They were hilarious, driving him crazy--the zoom in on Leland's pig avatar face?? Amazing. Groundbreaking. Emmys all around. Still unhappy David and Kristen kissed at all, but extremely glad it ended. I know it probably won't last, because heaven forbid we have a show without the opposite sex main characters NOT be into each other, but... oh, and I'm still a little heartbroken about the ending for the Monsignor and Wallace Shawn. :(
  9. I love any time Ben is with the girls! They're so cute and I adore them. I also loved Ben telling David to taste the red stuff to see if it's blood since he already stuck his fingers in it anyway. The scene/s with the reveal that Leland has been talking to Lexis and then her getting the book were CREEPY as hell. Not creepy but hilarious was when Kurt asked to talk to Sister Andrea and she was just like "...who are you?" Lastly... sigh. I was very very Here For the last scene with the amazingly well-acted confession. and then they had to go and do THAT. I just...really am NOT Here For Kristen cheating yet again, and David already breaking his vows. It left the whole episode on a sour note, and I'm honestly really disappointed. Not surprised, since it was gonna happen sooner or later, but I already held on to a tiny bit of hope that it wouldn't.
  10. I am so confused by the entire Leland and Sheryl thing. and also by the entire Ben and Vanessa/Maggie thing. But with the entire Lexis thing, I just kinda assumed she wasn't ONLY insecure about the tail, but also about the usual preteen/teen girl body issues. She was clearly not thrilled with her teeth either, and she asked her mom if she thinks she's fat. Other than the tail, the whole subplot was so sad for how realistic it was. I'm so glad Kristen finally really caught on and talked to her about it. Plus she was really adorable giggling over the tail. :D
  11. I love it too! I just feel they are some of the most realistic kids I've seen on TV, and the chattering is definitely part of that. And honestly, if you're around it a lot you kinda tune it out. Plus I still just think they're adorable children, so. I will miss the goat demon therapist! I especially loved his taking down notes when Leland joked about being saved by Christ. I don't want Andy to die, though I know that's the most likely scenario. :( Oh, the part I laughed at most of all was when Ben asked if the Rome trip is all expenses paid and that guy just gave the most sardonic 'ha ha ha's.
  12. It's four kids, and I never really got the idea that he's only ever dropped in for knocking her up and then leaving. I do agree that there's a disconnect between how some talk about Andy and what we've seen of him--in my opinion, when he's there and onscreen, he seems like a good, loving father and husband. Obviously flawed for being away so often, but supposedly that's going to change anyway soon. Plus last season, he told Kristen it was her turn to be the one doing the climbing and he'd stay home, she just didn't take him up on it. Also, when he was around last season, he and Kristen seemed very much still in love and a like an average married couple that has disagreements and the like, which is all the more reason for him to think Kristen's changed a lot. Because she has! I don't particularly hold it against Sheryl for not liking him, because she IS Kristen's mother and would naturally care about her daughter being more or less abandoned, but on the other hand, she also chose her boyfriend over her daughter and granddaughters soooo... Anyway! I personally hope that if Kristen and Andy do end up no longer together (as the show sure seems to be heading towards) I hope it's a mutual separation, or mostly his decision. Not because I don't love Kristen and am on Andy's side totally or anything, but like. She's possibly possessed and emotionally cheating on him anyway. 😜
  13. I find the scenes with all the girls and their parents, separate and together, to be so endearing and cozy. Andy and Kristen are both such good parents when not away for months or possibly possessed! I'm really gonna need some explanation about Eddie sometime. ðŸĪŠ The murder drawings or whatever they were... I didn't miss those being shown before, did I? Because they seemed to come from nowhere! I was extremely disturbed by the masked sex and goo. I love Sister Andrea. And I loved Kristen at therapy with Kurt being like "well that's NOT my advice", though I am still not here for the Kristen/David stuff. I'm also on the side of those that at least half-supported her hitting that guy at the grocery store. Yeah yeah, violence bad, but like. He kinda deserved it. 😇 Lastly, I love Aasif and also Ben's wanting to see Keith Moon. Hee.
  14. Kristen and the nun were SO CUTE together. at this point I think I at least half ship her with like, everyone EXCEPT David. Sorry, David. (...Leland too, but no apologies to him.)
  15. I love that all the girls loved the party! Even the magic and marbles! It would've been so easy (and predictable) for Bow's friends to think it was boring and uncool, so that was a nice surprise for me.
