I mixed up a strong G&T and am getting to my watching of Mika's Big Scoop. I'm going to put on my oakville hat and recap highlights from this with an eye for the gossipy hindsight snark knowing Joe's going to turn on America's Lawyer the day after the 60 Minutes interview. This was definitely Mika's story. She led off the interview and took the lead with questioning. It was over 2:30 before anyone but Mika (even Joe!) got involved. She was assertively setting the men straight when they got details about the women and NDAs wrong. She was assertively asking questions. She was knowing her value, dammit! Avenatti and Mika both thought the $130k was a weird number and spoke about it at length. Joe was not as impressed. Mika got Avenatti to admit he wouldn't have taken on his client without affirmative proof of an affair and hush money, which he earlier tried to no comment. Mika asked if the 60 Minutes interview would have any new information. Joe: "(SCOFF PFIFF) I was gonna say. Of course there are Mika. (SCOFF) It's 60 Minutes (man giggle)." Spoiler, Mika was righter (not a word, whatevs) than Joe. MIKA'S BIG SCOOP JUST HAPPENED. I REPEAT, MIKA'S BIG SCOOP JUST HAPPENED. My main MJ man John Heilemann, "Wow, keep going Mika." Mika's beau, silence and then, "We started the tease and you just...." whilst leaning away from her and practically into the warm embrace of Willie's bosom. The men all ask questions about the nature of the threat. Mika starts asking yes/no questions. Avenatti says he can't answer these questions no matter how she asks them, smiles at her (he is pretty beautiful, isn't he. Those eyes.) and "applauds her tenaciousness." Swoon. I wish he would applaud my tenaciousness. OMG I forgot how annoyed I got when Joe made his grand piano dropping on her quip to Mika and then scolded her for asking stupid questions and then said, "I already asked him if the President of the United States threatened her." /End scene. This was the last time Michael Avenatti and Mika Brzezinski were ever seen at the same time in the same place. Joe was quite friendly with him. He was excited about the 60 Minutes interview. I leave with more questions than when I came.

I have the afternoon off so I'm going to re-watch The Day of Mika's Big Scoop interview, also known as Michael Avenatti's First Meeting with Morning Joe Scarborough, and see how Joe acted to him then. I'm invested in this weird ass plot now.

I think Mika must too. That's the only explanation I have for Joe's insanity on this topic at this point. Lol

Joe and Mika are both being weirder than normal today. He was even weird and aggressive to the stock market cut in guy. Mika goes for minutes looking like she's sitting shiva and then overcompensates with cackling and WOW!

Oh god. I may never be the same. His hated of Avenatti is so weird though. They both have a common enemy so it makes little sense. Joe's glasses are back. What is going on there?

He said women should be hanged for having abortions and compared a young black child to a primate, among other things.

I'll play. Lol. I don't think she stopped running, she would mention it every once in awhile and there were some videos of her in running gear. She does seem really out of it lately, like something's making her emotional in the bad way. Anyway, I'd bet more money on she stopped eating again than liposuction. Edit: Donny was just on Wallace's show. Now he has a good plastic surgeon.

Since we have recently been talking about his place on the panel: Jeffrey Goldberg from The Atlantic just (finally) fired Kevin Williamson. Too bad they won't bring this up, with or without Goldberg in studio, on Morning Joe. Or maybe they will. Joe loves to talk about controlling women and their bodies. ETA: Morning Joe family member Noah Rothman has been on Twitter defending Williamson since the news broke. If I believed in hell, I'd have to think there'd be space for these two.

It's weird because she'll miss Morning Joe and then later that day post videos of herself on Know Your Value. Maybe she misses days when they can't resolve their fighting before 5:59. ;)

Could very well be that. It's an afternoon game according to some guys I was talking to last night. I could easily Google that, but nah, can't be bothered. We'll find out, he won't go there without talking about it. The good old days! This bunker bunch set up is horrible. I couldn't watch and turned it off. Seriously. Where is Mika? Did she dig deep, practice her 30 second pitch, dress for success, and then negotiate her contract to part time? I think she's only been on one full week for all of 2018. It's bad. If they're in Boston, I really don't get why they aren't in an actual studio together with some real live human guests with them. Boston is a major city, Joe, you can find studio space there. I laughed so hard when I saw that (sidenote - I'm watching Friends for the first time on Netflix; Ross is the worst).

Three up, three down. Maybe Mika will invite Chris Christie on the show to talk about it. That's always weird.

? Same. I'll let you know if I find a Groupon. I have the same waterline issue as Mika and don't know what else to do about that besides an ashtray of a smokey eye. ?‍♀️

It looks like an oval solitaire. So being the nosy bish I am, I checked a pic of the one from Joe and it's an oval solitaire too, but it looks bigger. Lol. This seems oddly in character, in some weird way.

?☕️? I’m 100% on board with companies picking up phrases during phone conversations and tailoring ads on that because I’ve had something similar happen to me. But Joe’s theory... I bet he keeps that iWatch on while he runs and doesn’t understand how the cloud works. Lol

What does she do all day? She was recently promoting Katty Kay’s new book about confidence for teen girls; its out in partnership with Instagram. I was surprised to see that given the whole MJ family’s recent disgust over Facebook. It is, of course, quite possible they don’t know Facebook and Instagram are the same company.

Did Joe joke about her having a crush on someone on set? Did I hear that right? What are Joe and Mika bickering about at the fade to Stephanie Ruhle? I only partly paid attention to last half hour.
