Janine is revolting in every possible sense of the word. A manipulative, attention-seeking narcissist. No one would even tolerate filming her, if her addiction was narcotics or alcohol. It will be impossible for her to recover, because this is all that she has to get all of this attention. Amazing how little pain she suffers scooting down to the drive-thru for her super-sized fried foods versus simply standing on a scale in medical office. No tears hefting herself out of her apartment and motor-scooting down the street, no shame in all of the attention to her "freak show" fast food run, but panic debilitates her when boarding/de-boarding an airplane? BULL. I know they are trying to sell a tv show with the drama, but maybe people this sick should not have their addictions and self-destructive behavior rewarded and exploited. Isn't that the definition of enabling behavior? And it sure is easy for her to berate her parents, after both of their deaths. Maybe that is what caused her non-bulimic bulimia. Who pays for her apartment, who gives her money for food? If she "has no one to help" her, how has she supported her addiction for so many years?
