I like Alonzo. He found an excuse to provide us with some centerfold eye candy.

Kudus to whoever listed all the outstanding plot lines and forewarned they would return.
Darius Elon Musk Tanz appears to be a convenient ploy for whatever high-tech gadgets are needed for this series. Kind of like on the old Mission Impossible, or 007's bag of toys.

All the pictures I could find in Google Images indicate landscape should be visible in the background. Did they really choose a day when the weather was completely socked in? What a waste. I’m not sure Whitney was capable of climbing down into that area. And the angle is wrong for a picture that isn’t a great deal distant, unless it was taken by helicopter.

Nice description, Cherenkov. Proper climbing shoes or regular, wouldn't this be impossible for someone crippled with plantar fasciitis?

Here’s my technical problem with this episode. Depending on what nuclear material was on board the satellite, releasing it all into the atmosphere could have been catastrophic. We had this real life situation in 1999 when NASA wanted to whip its Cassini space probe past earth to pick up momentum on its way to Saturn. There were a mere 70 pounds of plutonium on board, to power the mission but enough for mass destruction if something went wrong during an earth flyby. It took a major outcry to convince NASA to change its plans. So blowing up the nuke satellite may have spared NYC but targeted a much more disbursed population.

Darius created his alter ego to be rather eccentric, so it would have been expected. Plus a distraction. Croft wasn't thinking who is this guy really, he was thinking why would anyone listen to him.

So the rail gun works. And could work again to stop the asteroid. I'm feeling less confident of victory for Team Asteroid.

The only thing that really would have annoyed me this episode would have been if the rail gun/orbiting nuke had not been resolved by credits time.
No one has slept for at least 48 hours, right? So of course the first thing Darius wants to do when he gets back to the White House is to bonk someone.
Harris is out a girlfriend now. At some point Grace will have to pick up with him again.

OK, I found a Lifetime Sport Fisher kayak. Designed to hold 3 people or one 500 pound person. Still, getting on and off it without flipping would be a major challenge. I'd like to see those outtakes!

I think a great deal of Whitney's issues with both her parents is because she so closely resembles her mother, at least before she packed on the weight. Rebelling against her mother the model fits in as one of the reasons. Teasing her poor father with inappropriate physical contact is another.

I am so bummed. After weeks of peace knowing I couldn't go "there", I have been UNbanned on her Facebook page. Now I'll have to waste time finding a cause worth being banned all over again. I'm open to suggestions!

It's possible they didn't flesh out what would happen during Season 2 until the show was renewed. Which could mean that the revelation about Darius having Huntingtons, and why it was relevant to Season 1, may not have been worked into Season 2. Especially since it has not been a part of any of the beginning of the episode recaps. About 3 episodes ago someone mentioned they saw Darius' hands shaking a little. I watched that episode after I read that and didn't notice anything. Haven't noticed any shaking since then (although I haven't generally been looking for it). So the opportunities they have had to build on his having Huntingtons, if it is important to Season 2, seem to have been bypassed.

Something happened when Tanz saw his reflection in the Oval Office window. He kept returning to it. I think he had an idea for how he could proceed strictly by himself. Not sure how that is possible if he has no access to any of his toys.
Did he remove the flag button because it's a tracking device or just as a gesture of deserting his post?
Liam did what he did just as a plot move that the writers couldn't do better.
Raul looked like Patrick Stewart.

Not that anyone has nominated me, but I would have to take my two kitties, never travel without them, and there is no way I'm taking a chance that Twit would sniff them up.
Maybe her problem is none of her fans want to go for a second ride. She has done several cruises, right? No new meat available to fill up another ship.

bara007, great analysis. Makes perfect sense but seems more sophisticated than these writers have been aiming towards. So there may be no further revelations regarding Darius v. Alycia, and if there are they may be disappointingly unexciting.

She smoked a lot. If she had quit smoking she would have claimed credit for it to prove how into health she is.
Using A1c as an indicator of diabetes is just a health system excuse not to look deeper into the status of fasting insulin and insulin resistance. She has insulin resistance. We know this because she has PCOS, and she has done nothing about her diet to curb her pasta addiction. So I have never questioned that she has diabetes. And fatty liver (and pancreas). And lots of other related fabulous issues.

Unless/until she's willing to stop smoking none of the rest means anything. She hides it so she knows it's a lousy idea and wouldn't be received well by her fans.
