  1. I couldn't believe they had the proposal at the MANSION! Has that ever been done before?

During the first seasons of both shows, the final dates and proposals were always at the mansion. I think it changed when Charlie O'Conell picked his finale during a live ATFR and then they started traveling abroad.

Here are Trista's FD and proposal. Beware of the baby voice.

  2. Jef had a famewhory run for a bit but he seems to have really mellowed out. Reality Steve is just bitter his ugly ass can never get half of the women Jef and Arie can.

Also, speaking about faves, Tessa from Andy's season will forever be up there. She was another non famewhore who basically disappeared after she broke up with Andy. I actually thought those two would make it since Andy was crazy about her from the start.

And I really, really loved the group of guys from Trista and Meredith's seasons. They seemed to have so much fun. Who can forget Ryan M. from Meredith's season? He was hilarious.

  3. I am SCREAAAAMING! Oh the irony of SeanCat airing that out for the world to see. Hilarious. I mean, Catherine basically changed her personality for him so she might as well suck it up now. To be fair, I've always believed they would be the first Bachelor Nation divorce so....

  4. Ed totally cheated. Jillian's nervous rambling after the tabloids came out trying to defend their relationship sealed it for me. Plus I watched her on Periscope a few weeks ago and she was drunkenly cooking with two of her bffs and someone asked her if she talked to Ed and the way she said "NO!" and her friends too basically confirmed my suspicions.

Too bad because I truly believe that Reid would've married her. It's strange to me that she obviously wants to get married and her current bf isn't really moving that process along. Oh well. Congrats to the new Mrs. Ed?

It's obvious this was an oops baby for Kyptin but I wish them well.

  5. Watching this is way too painful. I am out until BiP. Kaitlyn is dumb as hell and not even in a fun way to watch. Nick is an idiot for doing this again and Shawn is a low key psycho boyfriend. Oh well. At least I am cackling at everyone on Twitter last night dragging Kaitlyn. The same people who were dragging Britt and shouting for Kaitlyn to be B'ette. Don't they ever learn? Loose canon fan faves always turn into messes during their seasons.

  6. I knew Kaitlyn would be a  trainwreck and people would turn on her, but wow, I thought they would at least wait until the season ended. I never thought I would see anyone be worse than DeAnna, and yet here we are. Even Jen who was going through the motions manage to have interested conversations with her men. Kaitlyn is dumb, self centered, and truly can't form a coherent though. At this point I think even the guys deserve better, even Shawn who is being a Stage 55 Clinger.

  7. My hunch - there's a lot of drinking going on

There's always a lot of drinking, that's obvious and very well known. Hell, even Meredith Phillips admitted to basically being drunk 24/7 during her stint as the B'ette and she was still charming, funny, engaging and had great conversations with the men that were on her season. Kaitlyn is not very bright and now that she has the spotlight it is glaringly obvious.

  8. My God, this season is an even bigger mess than I thought. Kaitlyn is so in over her head it isn't funny. How the tides have turned. I knew it would be a matter of time before the audience turned on her. Heh!

Shawn is creepy as hell. Everyone giving Nick a hard time but Shawn is a Stage 55 clinger. Psycho.

    Ben H. for The Bachelor!

  9. Good to know someone else feels this way about Meredith, too. I know the pairing of her + Ian was very appealing but what she did to Matt--and telling his family she'd be looking forward to Xmas with them--was so unnecessary and so hurtful. I never understand why some of them do this kind of thing (Andi's another one).

Kaitlyn seems to be leading them on, too, probably for the same reason as Meredith and Andi,  to look desirable by having an F2 who both want you and want to propose to you.  I know that's the premise of the show (though engagement is not required), but I hate it when the leads say more than they have to in order to cruelly mislead a suitor/lead someone on.

In Meredith's defense, she didn't tell Matt she would be honored to get an engagement ring from him she said she would be honored to get an engagement ring from someone like him. I am certain producers were very much at play and in her head. But yeah, it was Ian from day 1. And Matt didn't fare too badly since he met his wife thanks to Lanny and the show.

Topic? If Kaitlyn was so worried about the long term effects of sleeping with Nick on camera, maybe she shouldn't have.

  10. Isn't that how Andi got to be the Bachelorette?  Calling Juan Pablo  out on the same shit?

Yup! And people were like "OMG! Props to her!" yet are calling Nick a drama queen, stalker and creepy. Rme. I hate how they have made me side with him. Ugh!

  11. I feel the same way. I'll think a lot less of Kaitlyn for it, if its true.

As for the idea he shouldn't have come back, I don't really understand why people feel that way (except, of course, for those who don't like him already.) Mary came back on Byron's season and I don't remember anyone saying anything negative about it. Other than calling Andi out for leading him on with the FS, I don't know why Nick angered so many people to begin with. I was with Sharlene who found him likeable throughout, but I guess many (inc. some guys on his season) didn't.

As for him calling out Andi at ATFR, that didn't bother me at all since he had made his feelings about the FS crystal clear ahead of time--and even his little sister had asked her not to lead him on. That was just mean.  If Kaitlyn does it too, my guess is she'll be just as unapologetic and self-righteous as Andi (who so quickly forgot how she called out Juan Pablo on camera for, imo, much less.)

Exactly. I understand the premise of the show but if RS is right and she slept with Nick TWICE then I have to side eye her. I am not slut shamming her in any way, but she had already slept with him. Why do it again? And letting him propose? Nagl.

People don't like Nick because he was overconfident. He clearly wanted to find a wife and didn't play the dude bro game which pissed people off. Then he called Andi out and it was a rampage. Never mind that if Andi would've been a guy and Nick the girl then everyone would've applauded him for it.

  12. Lol @ RS being wrong. Douche!

I was excited for his original spoilers because of the iconic meltdown the RIGHT REASONS~tm viewers would have. I do think it's shitty of Kaitlyn to sleep with Nick, TWICE, knowing well how messed up he was after the whole Andi debacle. Yes, I know he shouldn't have gone back and done this but still, if you are more into the other guy then don't sleep with anyone else. If I am in love with someone I have 0 desire to sleep with anyone else. But yeah, that's just me.

  13.

And I thought his comment in this week's episode when they brought up Andi's tweets about Nick joining the show was interesting. Without saying anything concrete, he kept alluding to the fact that he just feels like there is more to the story between Andi and Nick and he sides with Nick even while he didn't think Nick should have called her out publicly. I'm not sure I buy his saying it's just a feeling. These Bachelor Nation people all know each other and talk.

That is really interesting. I wonder what dirt he has on that story because as you pointed out, all these alumni talk. I do remember someone commenting or tweeting about Andi reaching out to Nick after her breakup with Josh. I didn't think much of it at the moment but I do wonder if there was some truth behind it...

  14. Not sure about Ben but a few months after Emily's season, US Weekly released a bombshell, that she was apparently caught by Jef sexting with another guy while on a family trip with him and his family at the family's vacation home. She and Jef publicly denied it but it later came out that US Weekly's source for the story was Jef's own brother who was present at the time. Emily and Jef eventually ended obviously and to his credit he never spoke ill about so she was able to continue maintaining her innocent, southern belle act, even though most people now believe with certainty that the story was true.

Jef and Emily were a MESS. She was such a non factor during Brad's season that I was utterly shocked how much fans loved her since she was so plastic and fake. I know Chantal was an emotional mess but I really thought she had a connection with Brad and he would pick her. The BTS gossip during her season was so good. I totally believe she slept with both Jef and Arie even though the show made it seem she sent them off to their rooms just like I totally believe this story.

  15. Of course Chris wanted the fame! I don't understand why people still act shocked and surprised when a former lead reveals him or herself to be a famewhore. I mean, Meredith, Brad, Ashley and Des are basically the exceptions to the rule. Chris was a phony and obviously wanted to be The Bachelor. Every single time a "fan favorite" gets the call most of the public turns on them by the end when they show their true intentions and personality which is basically what happened with Ali, Jake, Emily, etc, etc.
