  1. An alumni cheerleader's son just posted a video of the 2018 squad's first pregame performance. I was very excited to see it, and even though it's become a thing, I wish they'd get rid of the game day footage. I already figured out where Brennan is placed in the formations, but Erin and Madeline M are a mystery. It's to be expected when there's a large group of blondes and brunettes. Moving on... I know it's already been discussed, but what does everyone think of where the some of vets have been placed in the formations this year?
  2. I know that Michelle Keys isn't the only alumni teaching the squad new routines, but I believe that she has a shot at being the next Asst. Choreographer/Head Choreographer.
  3. I just re-read the caption of her post and realized that I overlooked the part where she said that she was last week's Gameday Girl. My bad! ? The Cowboys' social media team have been slacking for years now and really need to step it up. We used to get gameday videos on time, but now, they're posted days or weeks after games and certain events.
  4. Amy L. was the Gameday Girl for last night's game. Part of me felt that it should've been Lexie since it was her birthday, but I know that's not how it work.
  5. This is off topic, but I just thought to share after seeing this post on Instagram. This young lady's name is Sunjai Williams, and she's a 21 yr old from Jackson, Mississippi. She's an alumni of a majorette dance team, called the Dancing Dolls, and currently attends DeSales University with a full ride scholarship in dance. Her dad is a Cowboys fan and she is a fan of the DCC. The coach of the Dancing Dolls even left a comment to Sunjai's post, encouraging her to audition one day. My question for all of you is... Do you think Sunjai has what it takes to be a DCC? Oh yeah.... The Dancing Dolls are featured on the Lifetime show, called "Bring It."
  6. Let's see... I think it should be Lacey, KaShara and Khalyn. Not sure if they're good choices, but I was thinking of diversity.
  7. Those comments were funny, but the fact that these people jumped to conclusions had me rolling.
  8. Group Leaders were announced last night, and you won't believe who they chose this year. G1: Lacey and Tasha G2: KaShara and Khalyn G3: Amy and Tess G4: Maddie and Kelli Apologies to who ever shared the news first! I just tried to edit this and leave a comment about this year's First and Second Leaders, but I can't for some weird reason.
  9. Just saw this video as I scrolled through Twitter. The ladies chosen for it were Jenna, KaShara, Stephanie, Maddie and Cersten.
  10. My bad! She's been off my radar since retiring, so I must have forgot.
  11. Holly - 2011-14 (4 yrs) Danielle - 2012-16 (5 yrs) Jacie - 2012-15 (4 yrs) Kinzie - 2012-15 (4 yrs) Lacey - 2013 - Present (Starting 5th yr) Rachel - 2013-15 (3 yrs) Amy T. - 2015-16 (2 yrs)
  12. I don't know how hands on a former cheerleader has to be in order to be qualified, but I could see Sarah Gourley, Michelle Keys or Jennifer Kathryne taking Judy's place as the choreographer when she retires.
  13. The vets seem to be making the "vet move" a tradition now. This year, it looks like it came from a routine that Michelle Keys taught them.
  14. Wow... All three ladies from the 2018 triangle formation's third row is leaving. Here's my guess of who'll move up in the triangle for the 2018 season. KaShara Lacey Amy L. Madeline Kelli Jinelle Tasha Stephanie Khalyn Heather Bess Simone Chantel Gina Yuko Kelsey Tara Lexie Molly Keyra Jessika Miranda Lauren Selina Alexis Christina Rachel Savannah
  15. Spacing. The stage wasn't big enough for all of them to be in the kick line.
  16. I have for a while ever since she got cut, When Caila took classes with the Mavs Dancers, I thought she'd be auditioning for them, but never did. I do think it'd be great if she came back to reclaim her spot as a third year vet!
  17. Actually, Jenna was the point for one game during the 2016 season. She posted a clip of that on her Instagram.
  18. Maybe, or auditioning for a seventh season in hopes to redeem herself for what happened this past summer. I know it's a stretch, but I don't want Jenna to leave the squad on bad terms.
