  1. This is the most fun show on tv right now. What an absolutely storming episode! Kept me glued from start to finish.

The blasters were awesome creepy. The way they crawled on the floor and were super fast.

And I loved the nod to 3:10 to Yuma! The western feel really came to the fore.

  2. It is a juvenile look to some degree, but apparently it's pretty popular with a certain demographic. Definitely skews younger, though. And, from my limited Google searching, it looks like it's a pretty popular look on Etsy too. :D

Yeah. I watch Teen Wolf, and this is a popular look. For the show and its young fandom. I'm also sure I've seen Taylor Swift and other starlets in similar outfits. It's been in fashion for some time, for teens and YA. Ashley was on trend and appropriate for Just Fab. Edmond's was just cheaper to produce imo.

  3. I thought this was a fun episode. I liked the judges not agreeing.

I can see why Edmond won, but I preferred Ashley's outfit. I thought she did the most with that print. It was cute.

Kelly is adorable, and her style interesting. But it needs to be refined. That she couldn't edit out the fur coat is what will auf her.

Candice is just high on her own fumes. Her designs are becoming increasingly overworked.

I liked Laurie, and initially had high hopes for her. But she really didn't offer up much. I think even she was ready to go home.

Can't wait to see what gets Tim so riled up next week.

  4. Alec and Jason awkwardly saying goodbye, had me cracking up.

Not sure how I feel about that whole thing.  Or the reveal of Jason's mother.

I wasn't too fond of this either. Maybe it now means Alec is on a different path, but it seemed too revealing.

We discovered quite a bit this episode. I think future Kellog could be coming back in time for the transplant. I'm going to predict that he kills current Kellog, or he goes forward in time with Kira and meets old Alec. Thus undoing something.

  5. Awful, just awful. The rise of CGI is the worst thing to ever happen to the film industry. It looked terrible and the story was a chore to get through. The whole bit at Hawkeye's house was just a bizarre choice. Why suddenly introduce his wife and kids to the story? It was also far too long.

  6. I'm at the point where she's found out about wessen, and it seems like the writers are working really hard to involve her in the supernatural side of things. It's a tough spot for her. I can't help but think she'd have been better of being an antagonistic character like Adalind.

  7. Irene Forsyte from The Forsyte Saga. The 2002 version starring Damian Lewis. She was an utterly selfish and unsympathetic character, despite the story wanting us to see her as a victim. She was so self-involved and uncaring. Cheating with her friend's fiancé. Said friend forgives her, because the story has all the characters fawning over her, and she can do no wrong. She then goes on to have a relationship with her friend's father. It was too much for me. The man who abused you wants a divorce, give it to him! I felt like Judge Judy watching this show. If you have an opportunity to cut an unwanted person out of your life, then take it! Don't involve yourself in games and bullshit, then claim that this person is being terrible to you.

She was a cold leech, yet the show wanted the viewer to side with her. Well I did not.

  8. Lindsay's aufing was not a surprise to me. Boring is the biggest no-no to Heidi and the judges. Laurie's outfit was a mess, but it was something.

I was more shocked that Swapnil was not in the top, and once again Edmond gets so much praise. There was a bit where Heidi said she liked him, and Zac sarcastically replied "I know".

  9. It was episode 7. It's definitely canon that they have a threesome one time, but whether it would have continued we don't know.

Thanks. I downloaded the first season, but honestly, I found some things off putting and the story meandering. I did wonder if they'd go there with Peter and Roman. Other than my love of werewolves, it may keep me watching.

  10. I agree that Dylan has a bright future, but I think calling him the biggest male star of his generation is a stretch. He's in the same age bracket as Logan Lerman, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth.

I thought it might be a bit much, but I tried to think of a young actor who's currently the lead in a successful franchise. Though I don't think he's a major star at all, it's more that I don't think his peers are doing that much at the box office. He's got some project about the BP oil spill lined up, it has a few big names. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

him doing interviews and conventions while apparently blitzed or high on something.

I think he's trying to age up.

  11. When the show started, Renard was this dark character of very questionable motives.

Yeah, I was hoping this facet to his character would feature heavily. But since the reveal, it seems to have fizzled out and he's only desperate for Nick to trust him.

It also bugged me that Nick easily matched Sean in a fight. The way Sean was built up, I thought he'd be stronger, but it seems like the show will not allow anyone to best Nick. Which is boring imo, I've started to wonder if he's a Gary Stu. I'd like it if at least the Royals were stronger, but Sean chose not to harm Nick. That would be an interesting dynamic. Sean is better when there's a threat to him.

  12. Interesting discussion. I'm currently binge watching the show. I'm on S2E21. The whole memory loss thing was terrible. Not only did it destroy Juliette, but it destroyed Sean in my eyes. S1 built him up to be something menacing, someone who'd have a big impact/arc. The scene where he forced the other wessen to kneel before him, set a good tone. But the memory loss/sex obsession plot absolutely killed and neutered him as a character. It annoys me that this is how Nick found out he's a Prince. Such a lame way to revel an important fact.

Anyway, I liked Juliette in S1. I agree with others that she was sweet, I thought she did well in that role of the lead's clueless girlfriend. But things have gone awry and it looks like it gets worse.

  13. Scott Wilson in the Grissom Gang. I remember watching this as a kid, one late night, and his performance always stayed with me. I later checked out his other works. I'll also mention Kim Darby's performance.

Ben Foster in 3:10 to Yuma. I wish Charlie Prince would have featured more.

  14. What do people think of Dylan O'Brien? Especially if you're not a Teen Wolf fan. The Maze Runner movies are a hit, and he seems to be he biggest male star of his generation. I'm trying to think of someone to compare, but can't. I think he can be overrated by some Teen Wolf fans, but he's got something. It'll be interesting to see how far he can go.

ETA: Oh maybe Edward Cullen, whatshisface is in the same age bracket and can be considered equally big?
