Is it worth the $25? I've been dying to read it.

I have a copy on order from the library.  Besides me being just plain 'frugal' (ok...cheap) these news cycles are so 'of the moment' that by the time I get it, it will probably be somewhat out of date.  But I'll still have $25 to spend on something more enjoyable (chocolate?)

  2. This was Cindy Adams "Page Six" item 7/10/17   ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    So what’s cooking?
Sandra Lee is Gov. Cuomo’s live-in homemaker for one-fifth of her 51 years.

Divorced, newly rich, stunning, big with recipes on magazines, shows and Food Network, her shtick has been semi-homemade whatevers. But she now has three nonchef-related shows on the fire.

The surrounding aroma is she’s cooking up a whole new career — and it’s nonedible.

Frank Schaeffer and his patented fire-and-brimstone take-down of the con artists of the religious right.

This guy was great....why haven't we seen more of him and his obvious experience with televangelists and money-raking 'religious' right?

    It was weird

Yes.  I watched the first broadcast (and recorded it)  Mr. BB sat down to watch the 2nd broadcast and it was, as you mentioned, an old show of when the Russian Foreign Minister and Ambassador visited the Oval Office (and #45* "showed" them intelligence).  We switched back to the recording (we live on West Coast so shows are at 6 & 9 pm).  It was odd, to say the least.

I wonder who will get her slot.

I nominate Ali Velshi or  Joy Reid.  These 2 need to be seen and heard every day!

...Who was the brunette anchorwoman in the 9-10 slot?  She was fantastic!...

    Stephanie Ruhle?

She's awesome....I've already fangirled her!  She used to be on Bloomberg TV in the hours when the stock market opens, so sharp and smart, she could keep the dialogue whenever any thing changed.  (can't explain it well, but it was a joy to watch)  Also, love Ali Velshi.  His take down of GOP'ers Trumpcare rhetoric was classic.

    Liking Stephanie more.

Yes. She used to be on Bloomberg tv in the mornings when the markets opened and everything was changing so quickly.  She was a pistol. Totally on top of any market changes. She's doing very well here too. She doesn't stutter and stammer and it doesn't seem like she lets anyone's get away with too much BS. (Unlike a certain Mrs. Greenspan).

Conway, Pence, Giuliani were all over the internet this weekend trying to dial back the "rigged at the polls" argument

I didn't really see the other 2 but Giuliani was on another network with the anchor whose name rhymes with Shmake Shmapper and RG was full on bat shit crazy with the wild eyes, foaming at the mouth about all the election fraud that he personally knew about.  It was painful to watch. ?
