If it is someone young, like Dylan, could it be done like the Mary Tyler Moore "Chuckles Bites the Dust"? https://tv.avclub.com/when-the-mary-tyler-moore-show-tried-and-failed-to-eulo-1798265259

If you had to pick new judges who would they be?
BennyB replied to Skyfall's topic in Food Network Star
"In 2013, Paul admitted to having an affair with fellow chef and short-time U.S. GBBO co-host Marcella Valladolid, causing him and Alexandra to split. He eventually called the affair the "biggest mistake of [his] life" and returned to his marriage." Oof...brutal.... -

Say Yes To The Dress: Atlanta - General Discussion
BennyB replied to ShaNaeNae's topic in Say Yes To The Dress: Atlanta
Noticed last night (while watching Trading Spaces & Nate & Jeremiah) that a new season starts on June 9th..... Although I always say I won't fall into the trap of watching, I actually do end up watching... :-( -
I have a copy on order from the library. Besides me being just plain 'frugal' (ok...cheap) these news cycles are so 'of the moment' that by the time I get it, it will probably be somewhat out of date. But I'll still have $25 to spend on something more enjoyable (chocolate?)

Sandra Lee In The Media
BennyB replied to Ubiquitous's topic in Semi-Homemade Cooking With Sandra Lee [V]
This was Cindy Adams "Page Six" item 7/10/17 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ So what’s cooking? Sandra Lee is Gov. Cuomo’s live-in homemaker for one-fifth of her 51 years. Divorced, newly rich, stunning, big with recipes on magazines, shows and Food Network, her shtick has been semi-homemade whatevers. But she now has three nonchef-related shows on the fire. The surrounding aroma is she’s cooking up a whole new career — and it’s nonedible. -
This guy was great....why haven't we seen more of him and his obvious experience with televangelists and money-raking 'religious' right?

All Episodes Discussion: 2017 Season
BennyB replied to AmandaPanda's topic in The Rachel Maddow Show
Yes. I watched the first broadcast (and recorded it) Mr. BB sat down to watch the 2nd broadcast and it was, as you mentioned, an old show of when the Russian Foreign Minister and Ambassador visited the Oval Office (and #45* "showed" them intelligence). We switched back to the recording (we live on West Coast so shows are at 6 & 9 pm). It was odd, to say the least. -
All In With Chris Hayes - General Discussion

I nominate Ali Velshi or Joy Reid. These 2 need to be seen and heard every day!

Food Network and Cooking Channel: One is about food
BennyB replied to HyeChaps's topic in Network Talk
At any given time during the year, here is L.A., all 3 of these shows is on PBS in Los Angeles. (not necessarily at the same time) I guess we're lucky to have 4 PBS stations airing here! -
Where are these glamour shots everyone is speaking of? Is there a link?

She's awesome....I've already fangirled her! She used to be on Bloomberg TV in the hours when the stock market opens, so sharp and smart, she could keep the dialogue whenever any thing changed. (can't explain it well, but it was a joy to watch) Also, love Ali Velshi. His take down of GOP'ers Trumpcare rhetoric was classic.

MSNBC: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Vaulted)
BennyB replied to Jaded's topic in Political Network Talk
Yes. She used to be on Bloomberg tv in the mornings when the markets opened and everything was changing so quickly. She was a pistol. Totally on top of any market changes. She's doing very well here too. She doesn't stutter and stammer and it doesn't seem like she lets anyone's get away with too much BS. (Unlike a certain Mrs. Greenspan). -
A Canadian living in U.S. gives her opinion regarding this election cycle.....as a Canadian living in L.A., I totally concur! http://www.salon.com/2016/11/06/view-from-canada-your-elections-are-too-damn-long/ Average length of campaigning...50 days....strict spending limits, etc. seems to make it much more tolerable!

BennyB replied to Jaded's topic in Political Network Talk
I didn't really see the other 2 but Giuliani was on another network with the anchor whose name rhymes with Shmake Shmapper and RG was full on bat shit crazy with the wild eyes, foaming at the mouth about all the election fraud that he personally knew about. It was painful to watch. ?
