So my fave DCC, Jalyn, gets her My Boots Insta post for a great cause (children’s mental health) and they misspell health in the banner. They have “Heatlh”. Their SM account operators consistently make stupid errors that a basic spellcheck would catch. Not so very world class and insulting to the causes and partners they highlight.
if you look carefully, it actually does say 'Health' the l and t are joined. weird font is the problem

would much rather watch Ashlee in this style than Maddie though.

From what I understand, allstars are retired cheerleaders that still make appearances, but do not dance (unless their name is Emma 🙂 ).. They are used when the regular squad is not available and they also made suite visits during the games. I do remember one of the requirements is they had to of been on the squad 3 years to qualify, but I fell like they had made an exception at some point (I think it was Carisa). You have to be asked to be one and if I remember correctly, there was some talk that Holly A was not asked when she was retired, and that was some big 'news' at the time on the boards.
It's a shame that someone like Brennan was cut, because I believe if they gave her the grace of opting out (aka suggest retiring if her stamina wasn't up) she would have made a great All Star!
that would have been Olivia who had been a 2 year vet because they were low on higher tenure retiring.

In Season 14 the Hispanic DCCs were Alanna, Lisa and Kristen. Season before that was just Lacey and Alanna I believe. Doesn’t seem to be much Hispanic representation in DCC. Tbh doesn’t seem to be particularly diverse at all when you compare to other dance teams. Can’t recall there being very many DCCs of Asian background either.
On another note I know Tess is Native American, I don’t know of any other Native American DCCs, does anyone know if there has been any others apart from Tess?Veronica Lind is native american

Try being Australian 😂 we have so many stereotypes about us portrayed everywhere. It’s not a big deal to me tbh, I don’t find it offensive. It’s just a bit of fun. In Aus the 8 states make fun of each other, like the mainland jokes about people from Tasmania being inbred. It sounds offensive but it’s just a historical joke here, no harm meant by it. I don’t know many Tasmanians who would take it to heart. Every state has something that everyone else will bag them for. I know I can’t speak for Americans but I assumed it’s the same over there and different regions make fun each other, I thought Kat was just having an innocent laugh 🤷🏼♀️
so very true....lol

Yuko don't seem to have asked for help in the visa department from the help she had at her disposal. Her Japanese friend who was entering her second year as a vikings cheerleader, on Yuko's rookie year and from her coach
Angela applied for a 1 year student visa her rookie year because she was still at university at the time so of course had to apply for a student work visa which allowed her to be in the usa so she could be working in partnership with a uni in USA to finish her degree. Jinelle applied for entertainment visa or something. Besides Angela had been in the US about a month before first trials anyway so if her visa messed up she had time to fix it before filming even started.
What pissed me off about Yuko was she had at least 2 people at the palm of her hands to tell her what visa she needs to apply for. Most likely she was given the WRONG information by both. She had her coach, a FORMER DCC, who could have told her what visa was needed. Understandable if she gave the wrong info I mean her coach was on the team in 2006 so alot changed over the years. But that coach should have still told her which visa to apply for. The other was her friend who had was a CURRENT Vikings Cheerleader at the time of her Rookie year. Her friend had already been in the USA 1 year and was entering/trying out for her second year as a Vikings cheerleader so she should and would have at least got an up to date info on the visa that Yuko would need. Even if her friend applied the year before. There is a difference between someone who applied for a visa 1 year before and someone who applied 10 years beforehand and haven't even been back in the country since then. One would have up to date information even 1 year ago was still better knowledge. Its like Yuko don't talk to anyone to get help in the visa department from either one of those 2, which is what annoys me about Yuko. Her coach was shown on tv But Yuko admited on social media (and prob on the show) that she has a friend going on second year Vikings Cheerleader
Don't you have to live in a certain country a certain amount of time before you can apply for citizenship in that country? I mean I don't think Angela needs to apply for the visa now does she? Shes living in America permanently and isn't her husband an american? Which means she automatically get an american passport because of it?
Which Lauren are you talking about?
Angela still needs to apply for citizenship which she already has I believe.

These other videos just show how NOT powerful she really is. I am not a trained dancer, but even I can tell the others are so much better at this routine.

Has she considered applying for American citizenship?
No, I don't think so. I think she kinda likes coming home to see everyone when she has to renew.

Having dealt with visas myself, regarding Yuko I think it's important to remember that if they'd insisted on her turning up to rehearsals and the first game without the proper documentation, it could have potentially landed the DCC in extremely hot legal water. I doubt it was any kind of favouritism, simply avoiding a potential run in with whomever does immigration in the US and getting fined.
This is true, I know an Aussie who lives & works in Atlanta and she has to come home every 2 years to renew her visa.
10 hours ago, IrishJig said:As someone who worked outside of the US, I don't think Yuko could do much before actually getting 'hired' by the DCC, so she was stuck flying back and forth during training camp.
Typically you need your employer to do some of the paperwork for your visa.

What does LV stand for? Or am I missing something from not being on here for a few days?
Agreed . I stopped believing this in series 4 or something or whenever Whitney Isleib issue happened and then it was practically "promoted" on the show. I just sit there and just crack up laughing now, at all the drama I see on the show. No I am not laughing at or with the girls because I know that is serious for them to get on this team. But just at all the drama created.
Poor Shaina. That was Kelli and her marketing degree coming out. Yes bring the damn pastor in but it was annoying to watch esp when Kelli decided to fold her arms and look pissed when Shaina came up to her to apologise for not saying anything. Its like, no girl you don't need to apologise to Kelli. Kelli is the one that needs to apologise to you for trying to force you to talk about something that you are not ready to talk about yet. You don't need to talk about your personal problems on national tv. You talk about it when you are ready not when you are being forced to talk about it.
LV I presume is for Las Vegas

Sorry if this has been mentioned/asked. I'm way behind on everything except work. Kelli mentioned 30 Vets returning. Shouldn't it be 31? 37 last year minus 6 retired. Did someone else retire? Amy. Alexis. Bridget. Christina. Molly. Miranda.
apparently Taylor Pedersen retired as well
