What is wrong w/ Kim's face (Lily's mother)? Did she have a stroke or something? Why is her face so misshapen, I wonder?

It looks like a face transplant or something, the chin area looks different and gray. Not making fun of her, that's what it looks like.

In defense of Josh (I can't believe I just wrote that) Aika is insisting on a $13,000+ , 2 carat ring.   That's the equivalent of about 3-4 years pay for the average Filipino.  And when the storekeeper mentioned the price, she said, with a straight face, that it wasn't so expensive.

Josh giving her the ex-wife's ring was a classless move, but she has more than a bit of Anfisa in her with her financial demands to be "taken care of."

Being a 36 year old tattooed ex-bargirl and living in a shack with your impoverished parents in a remote village in the Philippines is not a good life.  Her reasons for marrying him are just as self-serving as his reasons for marrying her.

I guess we all have our standards. Not saying her life is good at all, but that's all she knows (?), life with Josh is a big unknown, although he's already acting like an arrogant asshole. I'd rather be alone than wish I was but YMMV.

I didn't like Andrei's putting his foot down re: the bachelorette party. Red flag, although I suppose his experiences as a bouncer explain why he feels that way. Having said that, I also get that the strippers thing is a HUGE issue with many couples. Total hot button issue.

Having said that, CHRIST were Elizabeth's sisters annoying. It was the female version of the inquisition he faced from her father and brother. Someone mentioned it in a previous episode thread: I think Elizabeth did Andrei a big disservice by talking about him before he arrived and not letting the family form an opinion without being influenced. Hilarious seeing him stir that drink while being bombarded with questions.

Overall Andrei and Elizabeth seem to have an intensely physical relationship. They remind me of Russ and Paola from season one. Those two couldn't keep their hands off each other, and the dynamic seems similar here.

I wonder how much of this, if any, is producer driven. She doesn't even seem to care about living it up the way her sisters do and Andrrrrrei sitting there calmly telling the sisters how it's gonna be, with a smirk on his face...seems fake.

I cant stand it when a grownup tells another grownup what they "can" and "can't do. Even if I agree with their original point of view, people aren't property.

Joe insulted Aika and Josh said nothing.

    Interesting.

Aika should just bow out and let those two live happily ever after. Just like she would if she would realize Josh is a jackass loser and that she can do much better. Hell, even being alone is better than with a broke ass man that is only in this for his own self serving reasons.

  6. Not one of these couples has any business getting married. Not one.

David & Evelyn - he doesn't want to settle down in her small town and she doesn't want to leave. Neither of them are wrong. I tend to side with him only because I wish I had traveled more before I married at the age of 21, and not gotten married so young to a guy I had dated since high school.  But I don't blame for Evelyn for not wanting to move away with him, he seems determined to get her away from all she knows almost out of spite more than wanting to explore other opportunities with her.

Nicole & Azan - he can't stand her and she's Nicole.

David Poor & poor Annie - what a mess.  He has nothing to offer her and she'd be better off going back home and starting over with another dude.  What a shame for her to waste her youth on a pathetic guy.

Molly & Lousie - she has so much going for her, I hope it works out for them. Out of all of them, they may make it.  Although Louise is having a hard time making the transition from vacation fling to real life.

Josh & what's her name - she could also do much better.  If she's determined to stick it out, I hope she takes advantage of the opportunities she has here and gets herself an education or trade so she won't be dependent on his sorry ass and can support herself should she ever need to. Ditto for Annie.

Yes.  And what was the childcare sutation for the girl before Loverboy showed up?

Doesn't brother Molly live with her?  I hope he's still around for the kids sake. I did like when he and Louise were doing the yard work together & chilling with some beer. Brother Molly seems like a good guy, hope he doesn't turn into an asshole later.

Classic "mutton dressed as lamb". We've all seen Darcey a thousand times on "What Not to Wear", right? "I don't want to look old!" She needs to have her hand held very firmly by Stacy and Clinton and shown that she can look stylish, even trendy, and not look like a teenager headed to the mall.

I agree. And not one time did he show any appreciation for Paris. Not when he was there, or when he got back. He may not have won Myriam, but he got to visit Paris, and have a local guide! Did he ever say "its so beautiful here" or "at least I got to see Paris"? Nope. It was all "I can be a better boyfriend to you. (for two weeks, until I go back to Kentucky, bye-ee)!" What a jerk.

And I know I'm extremely in the minority on this but from a girlfriend POV, mother Patrick is way too much on the scene.  I appreciate that that's her baby, but talking down to me and acting as if her son is better than me is a big no-no.  Women like her don't seem to realize that the rest of the world doesn't see her son the same way she does. My ex-MIL used to do the same thing, she couldn't separate that her precious baby who could do no wrong was in fact, a grown ass man who could be a jerk, and who was another woman's husband, not another woman's son.

Anyway, the mother of a son has to tread very carefully. Be understanding of what crap your son is capable of pulling.

Jesse seemed wired; like he was on something. If he treats her like that on National Television, I’d hate to see how he treats her in private.  I am having a hard time understanding why Darcy is choosing to be with someone who according to her, calls her the “B” word, constantly demeans her and makes her feel less than.  Darcy may be “flighty”, but she strikes me as a kind and decent person.  She needs to bid him “tot ziens” and find a nice, age appropriate gentleman with a 401k and pension.

Amen to you every word you said and that goes double for your last sentence. I'm close to Darcy's age and once you get to where we are, looks and youth are great but i someone who can pull his own weight and has something to bring to the table.  All the romantic stuff is great and still important but equally important is being practical about retirement and the not-so-distant future.

Jesse looked so sloppy tonight - the exact opposite of how I always imagine sophisticated European meant to dress. His tie was too short, his hair looked dirty and greasy (that style was doing his head no favors), and he needed to pull up his socks.

And ranting and raving at her like a lunatic. I can't believe Darcy is so hard up.  If she gets her wishes (although it seems like she's possibly seeing the light), he will do so much damage to her self esteem and overall emotional well-being.

Nicole doesn't have time to cook healthy meals because why? You know that kid is on a steady diet of nuggets and fries.

Normally, I'd have something to say about a person who doesn't have kids ragging on someone who does parenting. But Nicole is such a big baby herself, I'm going to let it slide.

I love how mothers like Nicole parrot all the right words in defense of their children.  They manage to say the right things for the camera (and public) but completely don't do anything they are saying.  Self righteous hypocrite.

These two are such a disaster trying to jockey for parenting position.

So David, how's marrying a teenager working out for ya? If you wanted a bride with some maturity, you probably need to aim a bit older.

She is no prize, he could do much better.

I don't have a basement where I live either and it makes me nervous because we're in tornado country.

Seriously, I feel bad about the trailer comment.

I get carried away sometimes... ironically, it's a people pleasing thing.

As for fundamentalism, it can do weird things to people... sometimes. Not everybody, but some sects get caught up with restrictions as we have seen with for instance, the Duggars.

Don't beat yourself up.  No one aspires to live in some shithole trailer, which is what my mental image conjured up when I read it. Obviously there are mobile or modular homes that are as expensive as brick houses with all the upgrades, that are sometimes referred to as trailers still, but one doesn't think about that when referring to a Neanderthal.  ?

But it's ok if she gets mad and shoves you out of the way. Somebody should have been yelling at this blob of shit a long time ago.

Can't believe I'm actually saying this towards another female but Azan will be the one to keep her in line. Or at least stand up to her. I yelled at my tv when Nicole had the audacity to school Azan on not giving Mae her way just because she wants something. Like your parents should be doing to you right NOW, Nicole?

  16. Mae acts about like you'd expect the child of Nicole to.  Yeah I know she's only 2, but I get the sense she's quite a handful and it may be difficult to step into that and trying to co-parent with Nicole would be a nightmare.  Azan may want to reconsider taking this on.  Of course, anytime you attempt to be the step parent is going to be challenging, even in the most ideal situations.  But nothing about Nicole is ideal.

Also, the way Nicole snatches and slings her around boils my ass.

  17. Peggy is a vile little shit stirrer and Lydia is her little sidekick minion.  She gets Shannon wound up and upset and then tries to be all "calm down". I despise people that do that.

Shannon isn't well, and while that doesn't excuse her for bad behavior, that gives no one else the right to go at her like they are.   They are worse for treating someone who is struggling so horribly. Shannon seriously needs to quit this show and stay far away from all of these women, including her so-called BFF Tamra.

I cringed when Nicole strapped Mae's car seat in the rear right seat instead of the middle and then crammed her fat ass in between Mae and Azan. Did she not know the proper placement of a car seat or did she do that to sit next to Azan?

Thanks for the heads up on Evelyn's singing. Had my finger on the FF button so I avoided it!

You  should go back and listen, I insist. We all had to subject ourselves to it.  And it really is amazing how awful she is.
