  1. I'm trying to figure out what it is about this season that makes it so boring and uncompelling. I've loved this show for so long, but the episodes this year are almost a chore to get through. I can't tell if it's the dragged out pace, less veteran screen time, boring TCCs or what (it doesn't help that I was subjected to Cassie this year either). I'm just really bored with this season. Anyone else?
  2. Frisco's rents are significantly higher than those in some areas of Dallas. And with the heavy time commitment and extremely low pay associated with being a DCC -- which also limits one's job options -- I don't know how they expect these young girls to deal with everything.
  3. I would think the drive could be a huge deal to some people -- it is to me. Dallas traffic is no joke, and if you're adding an hour or so to your commute to and from rehearsal and games, that really affects your quality of life. I also think the location of the Star could discourage some girls from auditioning in the future.
  4. I wonder why DCC posted this photo of the jump split on their page? Surely they had many to choose from.
  5. I just know how it feels to be asked something in an interview situation that you know and have your mind go completely blank ... and then the panic sets in. Sitting in front of Charlotte, Kelli, Judy and everyone else on that panel has to be scary — especially for girls with not much life experience. And on top of that, add the CMT cameras and MTT's penchant for highlighting the "I don't know" responses. That is SO much pressure!!
  6. I love hearing from the judges during deliberations, but Anthony Ramos just needs to go away. I hate that they're showing him so much.
  7. I can forgive answers to questions in a panel interview. It's a very intimidating situation, and sometimes your mind just goes blank even if you do know the answer.
  8. Do we know for sure that she wasn't there on Sunday as well?
  9. Agreed. I think we're getting off track with this Twitter video thing. The EE bar altercation happened on July 17 and involved the alleged victim insulting a woman in EE's party. If Holly was there that night, the powers that be would have learned about it via the police as they collected witness statements. Not saying this is what happened, but the timing lines up.
