In addition to Elias’s return, viewers also revisited Patience, who, despite her scary gift, seemed rather eager to help rid Woodstone of evil. Could that mean she’ll be an ally of Sam, Jay, and the rest of the estate’s non-demonic crew in Season 5? “We love Patience, and we love Mary’s portrayal of her, and it felt like a natural way to bring her back when we’re having the devil’s emissary come to Woodstone. Going forward, we have to figure that out,” Wiseman shares. “It does seem like she might be in a position to help out, but we’ll have to see.” Who knows, perhaps “the others” she teased earlier in Season 4 might be able to help. While we never met “the others,” Port teases, “We want to meet them too. Is there any level of disappointment for Flower that she can’t get any higher? I think that she died right at a peak for her, so I don’t know that she ever feels like she needs to get higher. I think maybe her anxiety would be about it lasting, and that probably has to do with her forgetting that she’s actually going to be in the same state forever. I think she battles so much with honestly trying to hang on to lucidity that she’s not really concerned with the opposite problem. Will Trevor get closer to Pete (Richie Moriarty) following this experience? After all, there’s some overlap with their storylines as dads. I love Richie Moriarty. I kind of always felt like at the beginning of Season 1, Pete was kind of Trevor’s closest buddy, and a lot of that was because of the proximity with which they died. They would’ve understood a lot of the same culture. Pete would’ve been there for a lot of the seminal films and cultural moments when Trevor was a kid. For one thing, I think that Joan and Sasappis actually have real chemistry. Shiki and Sas, we haven’t really seen if they actually have chemistry. We don’t fully know. Potentially, you could take the time and see if they really do and everything, but…everything that he’s built up in his head is never going to be what he wants. [Sas and Joan] have good chemistry, and she’s lovely, and they’re really sweet, and so, we’ll see what happens. We just got to take one day at a time and see if it’s the right fit.
