At least her son knows the pizza isn't a good idea. I think she's going to eat the entire thing herself, never mind 2-3 slices, she's probably ordered a second one for the sons to share that we don't hear on the phone. No you are NOT going to reach your goal by eating pizza.

My mom did tell me I was fat. I replied that if it bothered her that much I wouldn’t come over any more. I never heard another word from her about it.

Couldn't she have been weighed at the hospital if she really has lost a lot of weight?! I'm sure she has lost some, but in that many months she ought to look a lot smaller than what she does. She's DELUSIONAL.

At least initially, can't there be a local doctor who could work with Dr. Now and report her progress? Then, of course, move to Houston.
It does make sense that she could get weighed locally and perhaps even start therapy locally (they don't have a Lola, do they?).

Will she EVER go to Houston again?! I'm thinking not (since there isn't much time left). She is still talking about getting an apartment, why does she not understand HE HAS NOT APPROVED HER FOR SURGERY!

She did work, at one point had her own business. Some of the old photos she really looked good and she wasn't thin in them either.
