I watched the final scenes like they were a comedy.  Der der der.....here comes Adam going to meet his future bestest Father-In-Law evah!!  Aww shucks, Pop, give me a hug!  Sorry I killed your son.....giggle giggle.

Then we have Michael, fighting with the doormen to no avail.  So he starts trying to fling open a set of doors two inches away.  One of the bouncers, embarrassed at the sight, shakes his head...."they're locked, sir".  That was like something straight out of SNL!

The prosecutor, dragging around that dead rat on her head, was so aggressive and wholly unlikeable, I can see her swinging the jury in the oppostie direction.

Loved Lee's sudden burst of inspiration to run over to the jail, gain access to the exact cell where the murder happened, and brilliantly discover the door locks when shut.....all in the final moments of trial.  Honestly, I didn't think that was as much of a nail in the coffin as they made it out to be.  Carlo could have said he misremembered and in the trauma of the moment, he assumed he was trapped.  Or some other BS.

Everyone else has already highlighted all of the pointless storylines that went nowhere, so I will just say that I completely concur.

Tina Turner (how on earth is she 81?!?) has made a documentary about her life.

She is an incredibly talented woman, but her life has been the opposite of easy.

She's a legend. Without Tina, they would have been no Beyoncé, no Lady Gaga, no Cardi B, no Megan Thee Stallion, no J-Lo, and all the rest of the copycats that try emulate the legend herself. She did it all before them and I am glad there's a documentary out. She deserves it. I still have that old Beyond Thunderdome poster tucked in my closet, plus a CD of her Greatest Hits. Yes, my parents got me hooked quite a long time ago.

She didn't name the person who assaulted her. After she brings up the assault the screen said 6 months later and that was when Charlie Sheen entered the picture. Yes Sheen was the one who took her to the baseball game she even called Sheen her "Mr.Big" I guess she was a Sex in the City fan. So I don't believe Sheen was the one who assaulted her. Based off the stuff she wrote in her diary her relationship with Sheen is something she doesn't seem to be upset about. While bringing up the assault you could see how upset she was. Horrible thing to have to go through.

It's great she filmed so much stuff honestly she was already doing what everyone does today.  Wild seeing everyone I kept having to pause and go Omg it's so and so lol. Dana Ashbrook from Twin Peaks showed up I had no idea she ever hung out with him. Jonathan Silverman as well lol.

The phone messages from Jonathan Brandis were sad. It seemed like he was in love with her maybe? I remember he was with Tatyana Ali for 3 years.

They showed a picture of Edward Furlong at the end but he was left out of this. I remember when he was 15 he was dating that girl in her mid 20s. So sick. You could do a whole documentary on that alone.

Nice seeing Stephen Dorff when I was little I thought he was cute. I was happy when he showed up on True Detective S3 he was really good. Sucks about his brother.

Sad seeing all the people she knew who sadly died way too young. Depressing.

Jump Around yeah that song was huge. Talk about a flashback lol.

That was Edward Furlong's tutor and her name is Jackie Domac. They were together for sometime until they ended their relationship In 1998! Pretty shocked that they met on the set of Terminator 2 and that began their romance together. There is a clip of them from 1993 with Edward discussion Jackie in such high regards. It is amazing how she tries to look like Soleil Moon Frye.

  4. I had raw fish at a Filipino family reunion in the 90s and I did enjoy it, so that's awesome to know. My sister and brother were very hesitant when that was there, so I decided to eat it and I don't regret it. Hell, Spanish food could be quite something, too. I think my mom is a better cook and I am always thankful for her cooking. She is definitely a wiz at that. Never had raw meat, but my dad is a big fan of raw meat...medium rare or whatever. Chicken livers and liver & onions. Blech......whatever, dad. Can't argue what our parents grew up on. So I have to remember how they lived in the 50s and 60s because the cooking like dad lived on was considered immigrant poor food. Hell, I remembered my late grandmother eating tongue sandwiches.

I think the joke is that SB actually does searches on his own name in posts where he is not specifically tagged where it would not necessarily come up on his feed.  I believe he has a rep for going after just generic people with fairly modest follower counts (comparative to celebrities) who mention him in tweets.  And by that standard the only way he'd know they mentioned him is if he put his own name in the search.  Which if you are a celebrity is not the wisest thing to do otherwise you are doing your own personal version of 'Mean Tweets' only without someone like Jimmy Kimmel going through and curating the funnier ones.

That's a good analysis there. Never thought about that.

  6. Steven Spielberg and the Duffer brothers teaming up to adapt Stephen King's The Talisman for TV

    That looks interesting.

Thank you for that. It was beautiful and very moving. The world needs more of her and less of security guards who follow people around because they "look suspicious" though they are doing nothing even remotely suspicious.

    I know.

This is an experience related from 1983.  If it was evidence that Hollywood hasn't evolved yet then I would assume she'd have given examples from somewhere in the thirty eight years since she filmed it.

I'm not saying that it wasn't wrong or that Hollywood has evolved, really.  I just don't see how this in particular is further evidence that Hollywood still hasn't evolved.

I think you are right. Sorry to get angry at this.

Come on! Really?! Why would they do this?! Of course, it's outrageous that they'd do this to ANYone who wasn't doing criminal activities but somehow it's extra infuriating that they'd do this to someone famous for having composed  an apt poem for the Biden Inauguration!

Jesus! What the hell, man? This is so infuriating!

Thursday's episode riled me up, as I got to see certain media outlets go after President Biden. They came for one of his dogs. Really. They dragged the rescued dog. Once again: TDS is the box with the hole, and it's the only way to watch Fox News.

Also wondering if Jordan had to go to the "Inauguration" from a few days ago. Or CPAC.  *shudder*

Oh, man! I am not looking forward to that. The whole world must be shaking their heads at our recent stupidities like cancel culture, Mr. Potato Head, Dr. Seus, etc. Geez, its no wonder everyone is scratching theirs heads at this...ya think?

They are all coming off like a bunch of asshole kids.  But honestly the the piling on makes some of them come across like bullies that are punching down.  Its not a good look on anybody involved.

I do often wonder how I was such a stupid kid.  I really did believe that childhood was a phase and people would grow the fuck up and become kinder, better, more responsible and considerate as whatever mess of childhood hormones settled down.  Now I spend a lot of time marveling how many assholes just stay assholes forever.  There is no side here that is right or good.  I find all of them cringe inducing.

I don't disagree with you on that point. I don't do Twitter, but it is amusing to watch, but for all the wrong reasons. The best is Wanda Sykes owning Scott and embarrassing him like the bully he is.
