I like the girls, and I like the smaller more interesting boy. I don't particularly dislike the larger boy, but I don't find his character interesting yet.
So if the zombies eat him next week, I'll be fine with him getting replaced by Tobias.

Stormtroopers aren't even that dangerous if you just run. It's not like they can hit anything.
They're about as effective as Rick attacking Negan.

This is at least the third major zombie franchise in the last decade that has done the "Leading a big herd over a cliff" schtick.
And, frankly, both other franchises did it much better.

I'm, okay with this show. I may give up after a few eps, but right now I am cautiously optimistic...

I liked it. I didn't love it, but I liked it. I don't usually like hour-long pilots. Especially when my expectations are already low.
So what happened? Was Kirkman barred from the writer's room?

To be honest, I'm not hating this as much as I expected. It's certainly better than the other spinoff.
Shit, it's as good as half the episodes of the main show.
It does not, however, have the advantage of me already being hooked in by the Darabont seasons.
So I'll probably be back next week, but at this point I am not actively invested in doing so.

I love how growing up in the ZA has not evolved teen slang in the slightest. These kids talk more like I did in the 1980s than actual kids today do.
