  1. I’m in the minority but I can’t seem to force myself to get behind Rene. I know she’s had a horrible life. It always drives me bananas that she had a zillion kids and said she couldn’t help gaining weight after each kid.

Maybe she was just so damn depressing I never could warm up to her.

  2. It took me a few minutes to recognize Carey Lowell as the wife. She was great as ADA Ross in Law & Order. Apparently that was longer ago than I remembered!

  3. Can the show please go back to where the unsub and crimes were the main plot? I don’t mind knowing a bit about the team’s personal life but not enough to hijack the show. And we’ve already seen this-I don’t need a 2018 version of Strauss vs Hotch. Been there, done that, and hated it then and I hate it now.

And I used to love this show...

  4. An unfortunate looking couple.

But what a great job Tamy did! She followed the program and what do you know? She lost weight. And A LOT of it. I wish her all the best.

  5. This season's cast is so unlikeable! The only one I do like is Nate from last time and he's hardly been featured. Oh wait, I like Andrew, despite his crazy-ass dad.

This cast is so arrogant. We have Angele who keeps talking about how the other girls worship her, are inspired by her, they all want her, lol. Matt is over the top dramatic, he thinks he even matters in that pod, that people are conspiring against him? I really don't think any of the guys even notice he's there. Matt just likes to make himself feel more important than he ever could be.

    Ugh.

  6. Geez, Karina just doesn't want to walk. I am still laughing about how she had chocolate shoved into the recliner. I mean really? I am losing my patience with all of Dr. Now's patients-and their families. This family needs to go on that new Family by the Ton show or whatever it's called.

On a personal note, over the holidays I realized that food was becoming WAY too important to me, especially when I was eating alone.  I'm trying to get my act together, going to the gym, and eating less (if I go out I just eat what I want, I don't go out often at all.) I've lost 22 lbs so far, my first goal is to lose 50. Then possibly 25 on top of that. We shall see!

  7. I agree with what everyone has said but here's my 2 cents!

Dom and Mary - Mary is so selfish, she doesn't seem to realize that that's a reason Dom hadn't cracked a smile once since he's been out. Dom has aged a lot better "on the inside" than Mary has. She's messed up her face. I crack up every time the camera focuses on her ridiculously high heels.

Alla - High as a kite is right! Despite James' giant and crazy eyes, he can't see it.

Scott - Poor guy, he's so gullible and simple. He focused on his guilt for giving her a cell phone and ignores the fact she got caught with heroin & meth. That's one classy lady - Run for your life Scott!

Garrett & Johnna - I don't like Garrett at all but Johnna's so psycho that I don't feel bad for either of them. I feel bad for her dog!

Angela - She looks 65 instead of her alleged 45 years. That's some rough living. And she's no mental health professional. If I was sent to see her, I would turn around and leave.

  8. How could Merline still be here? That dress was awful-poorly constructed, boring, and something we've seen time and time again. I wasn't a fan of Amanda's but she shouldn't have gone home when Merline sent that thing down the runway.

And now we have to continue to hear Alyssa say "Merline" in some odd accent. Sigh.

  9. Like so many others have said, I really liked this episode. Alicia got off to a slow start but was the most normal person this show has ever shown IMO. She was talked about the body pain she experienced without pitching a fit, crying and wailing, and causing a commotion. Although she was definitely cheating I'm the beginning, Alicia took responsibility and pulled it together. Tim seems to genuinely care about her and was quite supportive. I had no problem with Alicia reflecting on how her mom contributed to her problems as a child-Alicia was ready to acknowledge it and start to move past it.

When they moved to Houston, didn't Alicia say Tim dropped the dog off at her parents' house? When she went to visit with her mom I was anticipating a nice doggy reunion. Where was the dog??!!??!!

I am going to start a new business transporting people to Houston to see Dr. Now.  Along the way, all pets will be rescued. I think the vehicle I have chosen will be both enticing and comfortable.

If I could like this 100 times I would, especially about rehoming the pets!

Oh Angela, why you wearing slippers outside prison to pick up your man?

I thought she was wearing slippers! But I got all distracted by the wailing and yelling and wringing of hands and pacing while she waited for him on the side of the road lol.  Oh lawdy.

As someone who works in the medical profession, I was cringing throughout. Throwing ice water on a patient to wake them to up, in 15 years of ICU nursing I have never seen that.

It's actually a common vagal maneuver when someone has SVT (which the Dr. said the woman was experiencing. SVT is an extremely high heart rate.) I was in the ER for SVT and they gave me IV drugs but had a container of ice water on standby for me to dunk my head in if the drugs didn't work. The patient on the show was passed out so she couldn't dunk, so throwing it in her face was the way to go! I have to do some vagal maneuvers myself when my SVT acts up!

  13. Stephanie is wackadoo. She criticizes Jaclin for yelling at the other girls (uh, acting like an inmate) but then apparently Stephanie will take drugs so can fit in and is annoyed by Jaclin because she won't? I'm over Stephanie. I agree she seems like she's there to win a contest-a contest that's in her head.

Anyone else see previews for next week? What is UP with the last participant (can't remember his name yet) getting all flashy for the cameras? What a tool.

  15. I'm really happy to see that Ink Master is starting up again! But am I the only one who wishes the show would go back to basics? And by basics I mean individual tattoo artists who haven't been on before, don't know each other, and no team challenges...

Of course it's always a pleasure to welcome back Dave, Chris & Oliver!

Not *that* well--what did they say her character was supposed to be--42? No. (CB is 50.)

This. I immediately looked up Connie's age because I knew she wasn't in her early 40's. That put me off right away, but I found the show entertaining enough. I had no sympathy for the young mother though...  I'll be watching it again, I am always up for trying a new show.

  17. Looking forward to another season.

I would have thought the prison chaplain would have suggested to his son that he grow his hair out a bit  and go in less clean cut than he did. I am curious about the scar on the back of his head lol.

Oh dear, Jaclin. I am sure the experience is worse than anyone can imagine, but don't sign up for it with the expectation that you will be able to speak to your daughter every day. That's just setting yourself up for failure.

Lets see what the next 4 are like next week!
