  1. Ok, this is a bit random, but this thought just popped into my head. Rhaegar & Lyanna are a bit like Anakin & Padme, are they not? Both had a hidden, secret romance/marriage. Both ended up causing a war/chaos to happen because of their love/relationship: Rhaegar & Lyanna having caused Robert's Rebellion. Anakin going to the dark side because of losing Padme, causing him to become Darth Vader. Both ends had lots of people die. And, both ended up having a savior child(ren) that will fix everything: Jon & Luke. Ok... I'll escort my nerd ass out myself.
  2. *Virtual hand five* YES to everything you said! That's my wishlist too.
  3. Thank god this episode was much longer - there really was a lot to cover. Knew that Cersei would never agree that easily. Was worried that Tyrion was gonna die by her and then Jaime. Also, I thought it was a little weird that she didn't have Tyrion killed. I can only think that she's hoping to make him truly suffer before killing him. So.. Jaime is definitely off team Cersei, right? And Cersei is definietly NOT sending her army North then? She's just gonna chill in the South? SO FREAKING GLAD that Sansa & Arya were two-timing Littlefinger. I actually cannot believe that he's finally gone - I'm gonna have to watch the badass way that Arya quickly disposed of him a couple times. I'm guessing that Bran was having secret slumber parties with the girls and filling them in on all that Littlefinger did. SO glad that we have the two sisters actually united. I'd be so sad if they really had been against each other. The Starks need to stay loyal to each other. Sam meeting up again with Bran at the beginning was pretty funny. "I'm the three eyed raven." ".... I don't know what that is." LOL. I started squealing when Bran started to reveal Jon's origin's to Sam - I really thought they weren't going to be able to cover that anymore this season. And then Sam actually showed us he listened and registered what Gilly found!! AND we got another flashback - with the first sighting of Rhaegar! Sidenote - I was wearing my glasses and they need to be updated with a new prescription, but was it me or did he look way too much like Viserys? I really didn't like that. Shouldn't his hair have been at least shoulder-length? I mean, I get it - Viserys and him are brothers, but Rhaegar has always been seen as the most beautiful man in the world so... And that scene was great, but it was kind of ruined that it happened during the 'yes, we saw this coming a mile-away' incest sex scene with Jon and Daenerys, literally as Bran says basically saying Daenerys is his aunt, lol. Ugh. I'm so not on board for this pairing and I really feel like the only one. But, Bran did basically say that Jon is the actual heir to the throne, and I can't see Daenerys easily giving that up to Jon. So, the relationship doesn't look like it's going to work out.. AND PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. Please do not have Daenerys get pregnant from this. I beg of you. Even though I know we got another babies anvil this episode. Finally, the end scene - damn, we're fucked. I died a little of the inside seeing the Night King riding Viserion. And was it just me, or did Viserion seem much stronger in death than he ever was in life? He looked pretty powerful. Oh! And we finally know Jon's Targaryen name and it's..... already fucking taken. I mean, what the hell? Aegon? Is that not what Rhaegar named his first son? I'm actually pretty pissed they did this - essentially re-used a name?? WTF.
  4. Noooooo, Viserion (or Rhaegal ???) !! Ugh, I didn't know it would happen in this episode, but someone left a spoiler comment about this on a Youtube video. I was hoping it would have been just a rumor... damn it! If Jon would have just immediately got on Drogon they might have escaped in time. >:( (I feel bad to say this, but I do hope that it was Viserion. I'd rather it be him than Drogon or Rhaegal - still hoping we get a scene between Rhaegal and Jon.) Although, I didn't want to lose any of them! Sansan/Arya: Ummmm, what the heck is going on? I felt annoyed last week at what felt like forced drama, but now it's really amping up. Essentially to the point that we are lead to believe the sisters are plotting to kill each other??? WHAT!?? I understand Arya's anger at losing her father and blaming Sansa and even thinking Sansa might be plotting against Jon, but really? And why is Sansa voluntarily talking to Littlefinger? I thought she understood how much of a manipulator he is. I can only hope that it will be revealed that both girls are playing Littlefinger. And where the hell is Bran in all of this? Why did Sansa get a letter to go down to King's Landing/who sent it? Wow, the writers are just making time into a joke now. How long were Jon and the gang waiting for Daenerys? A day, maybe a day and a half? When that should have taken, what - a month?? Lol. Still the dumbest plan to get a wight and bring it to Cersei. I really don't see how that plan is going to work next week. Cersei is not a logical person who can look at the bigger picture. Jon called Daenerys, "Dany". Weird. I feel like we could still use 4 more episodes till the season finale. Is the next episode gonna be longer or just the same time length? Guess that means we won't get any reveal on Jon being a Targaryen to anyone else this season then :(
  5. That's fair. I agree that there's still a lot of tension and history with each other. I just don't like the way the plot is going to bring that about - it feels so forced to me.
  6. Mmmm, maybe. But no episode has felt so close to that than this episode personally - with what felt like manufactured drama between Sansa and Arya just for the sake of tension and Cersei claiming to be pregnant when it just wouldn't make sense concerning the books. JMO.
  7. GENDRY!!! You're finally back! Lol, I loved how Davos put in the on-going meme of him still out paddling somewhere. Aw, RIP meme, you were good to us. "The last time I was here I killed my father." "The last time I was here you killed my son." Lmao. Davos is great. I'm really not feeling the whole drama between Sansa and Arya they're setting up.. While I love how Arya defends Jon, I don't want it at the expense of this plot. I couldn't catch what the note said that she found, but I'm guessing it's all a set up by Littlefinger to have Sansa and Arya against each other. Any hope that Arya is conning him back? Sam, looks like you're the head of House Tarly now - congrats! Lol, I do feel bad about his brother though - he seemed like a pretty good guy to me. Where exactly is Sam going though? Back North? Also, ughh, Sam if you would have just paid attention to what Gilly was saying about Rhaegar! Speaking of that - has there been a name drop about Rhaegar almost every episode now? Hmmmm. LOVED the scene with Drogon and Jon. Dany was definitely surprised by that... interaction. Would have preferred it with Rhaegal (sp?) though. And ughhhhhh NO, please god no - NOT another baby for Cersei and Jaime. I don't even know what the hell the purpose of that is... Isn't she only supposed to have 3 kids? This seems so soap opera-ish to me.
  8. Wooow, this episode was great. So many things happened. The best thing about this season being shorter is they're not needlessly stretching plot lines out. If this were any other season, it was have taken probably till the final episode to have not only have Arya finally come home, but have all 3 Starks reunite with each other. It's so surreal to see them all together again. I'll have to re-watch their scenes. I'm still so mad at what they've done to Bran's character. Basically murder him as Meera said. I get he has to be changed somewhat, but come on, the last three eyed raven wasn't so emotionless. Bran's acting colder than when Sam from Supernatural lost his soul. I'm only praying that since they've literally pointed out how cold he is, that the old Bran will hopefully, somewhat come back - please. Every time Jon and Dany are on the screen it's a good time. I love their interactions with each other. I have to say though, I'm probably in the minority that DOESN'T want them to be romantic with each other. I get it's Game of Thrones and the Targaryens are known for incest, but ugh, I can't cannot get behind that. Besides, Jon was raised as a Stark and I don't really see him going for it once he knows they're related.. Eh, idk, it'll probably happen, but I really wish it wouldn't. The battle at the end was marvelous and breathtaking. Glad to see the other side suffer some losses. Although, the whole time I kept screaming at Dany to retreat with her dragon after the first couple displays of firepower. I think Drogon will be ok in the long run, but geez, she was cutting it close there. Was it just me, or did it almost seem like she stuck around more than necessary? She kept firing at them when it was apparent they were gonna lose.... more of the Mad Queen coming out, Dany?
  9. I've been thinking myself that the dragons might uncover this about Jon.. which would be pretty great and make Dany speechless.
  10. Ugh. I hope it's just something that he has to work through as he adjusts. I would really hate to lose the character of Bran from the past seasons to what we are seeing now :( He was one of my favorite POVs in the books and it'd be so sad to lose that boy completely...
  11. Every moment Jon and Dany was on screen was amazing! More of this please! Jon and Tyrion scenes were great too and I loved how Davos introduced Jon after Dany's long titles were given, lol. Rhaegar was named dropped again and Dany made a point to mention how she was the "last Targaryen". Hmmm.... When they all find out who Jon really is, maybe they can bond over how Robert would have killed them both? ;) I was spoiled on the Bran and Sansa reunion, but happy to see it nonetheless. Was Bran that .... "off" last season, though? I understand he has to be the three eyed raven now, but I don't want him acting almost like a zombie from now on. Was kinda cheering Cersei on when she was Ellaria. She rocked that scene. Was I the only one worried for Olenna after she took the poison that it was gonna be revealed that Cersei found out it had been her who killed Joffrey? And then give Olenna the same poison?
  12. I'm almost 100% sure she was mentioned as being a slave in the books. As for the show, I think they mentioned this, but I can't remember which episode.
  13. Ah, yes that's right! Thanks! Agreed, seems like it's heading in that direction - that is if Jaime can stop being a little bitch to Cersei. At this point, I see either Jaime or Daenerys killing Cersei. Would be very shocked if it was Arya. Hopefully, that points to her staying on her journey to Winterfell.
  14. In the books, isn't it implied that Jaime will by that prophecy? Something about gold hands.. (sorry, it's been a while since I read the books).
  15. Question - I can't remember, but is Bran trying to get back to Winterfell? Or is he planning on staying at the Wall? What are the chances we'll get all the remaining Starks in a reunion scene?
