  1. New York was the only franchise I was still watching.  The last season was a crapfest but nothing that couldn't have been fixed with two cast changes and a new season.  Won't be watching the new cast as it's very clear Bravo isn't interested in a 72 yo's viewership or opinion.

No one to "make it nice" for the new season.

  2. NY is the only HW franchise I still watch, so I would tune in to watch both shows, as long as Leah isn't involved.  I'm not entertained by her, and I fast forward through her talking heads and any interactions involving just her and her family.  I can take or leave Eboni, she doesn't get on my nerves the way Leah does.

I'd like to see Lu, Dorinda, Sonja, and Tinsley, for starters, return.  I've seen and heard enough from Ramona, would not miss her even a little.

For sure. Wait til Gage gets a little bit older and learns what his mom and aunt do for a "living". But it's also possible Gage will be obese too so maybe TLC will just add him to this pathetic show.

    I can picture the ad:

I forgot about that. She did, but right after that Amy said he's a family friend who does a lot for everybody and is always there when they need something. If the sisters can't even get straight who Rob is to them I'm thinking more and more that he's a hired friend.

An extra from the TLC Thespians Club.

i was determined not to watch this season but couldn't figure out how to remove it from my dvr queue.  Last night I decided to take a peek.  Didn't Tammy supposedly have an on-line "boyfriend" at the end of last season?  Unfortunately, anyone attracted to her would probably be more interested in keeping her at her current weight than encouraging her weight loss.

I was with you on this sentiment.  I watched season 1 but when it ended I told myself I wouldn't be watching season 2 of this shit-show.  And I didn't, until two days ago, when some blurb I read about them on the internet caught my eye and before I knew it I was searching On Demand to find episodes.  Two days later I've watched all of season 2 and now I need more!!!  And I need it nooooooow. 😝

This show would be easier to watch without all the farting and belching; a little of that goes a long way for me.  😷

Personally I don’t care they don’t show amy checking her glucose. TLC long ago abandoned being “The Learning Channel”. They’re producing entertainment, and I would sincerely hope that if someone is diabetic and pregnant, they would get their advice from their doctors and not take a narrative from a tv show. There’s plenty of things that people do that don’t make for interesting TV, which at the end of the day is what the producers are after.

Apparently TLC quietly gave up the "learning" channel premise around 2014.

I don't recall this rebranding, and I sure would not call it "tender loving care!"  Maybe: Take

    (a) Lesson Chump."

    Tony nods “Yea”

Girl he don’t love you if he did he wouldn’t need a rule taped up in your trailer that says Don’t Fuck Hookers ... lol

You know, I never thought of watching Law and Order reruns to help induce sleep. I usually watch something on investigation Discovery Channel, and I worry what listening to murderers and serial killers in my sleep is doing to my sub conscious!

But I think that watching old 600 Lb Life reruns would work because their voices are so sonorous.

Thanks, gang! Now I don't need to worry about being on Hometown Homicide anytime soon

I see I'm not the only one using the ID channel for sleep purposes! I fall asleep to ID and wake up to it; I need the noise to help me sleep.  I have tinnitus and need some level of noise to balance the ringing in my ears, which is 24/7/365.

I must be missing something because John/Cheryl were mentioned last episode and again tonight, in addition to Glorietta, but I never saw those scenes.

I felt really bad for Sarah except for one bitchy moment I had when she was asking, "I don't know what's right or wrong anymore!" and I responded: "To start with, your eye makeup is wrong."

Why the heck did they not have Michael and a new Maria panel swinging into place when he was going back to the hotel, instead of the Michael and Sarah ones again? Impatiently waiting for the Maria panel so I can really laugh my ass off at the rotation every week.

There was a 11-minute update on Glorietta after the main episode, it was a 71-minute episode in total.  Sadly, she's thinking about hooking up with Alex when he's released.  Of course we have no idea what his thoughts are on that yet.

She needs to find a nice boring guy who doesn’t mind helping to raise someone else’s kids.  Not another bad boy, those days need to be over.

Unfortunately be the time Sarah figures this out she will be visiting her own kids in jail.

(I'll be showing myself to the gasoline soaked drawers dispenser.)

    Precisely!  😄

I was so glad to get to the forum and see a lot of other posters knew those weren't egg whites she was scrambling up.  At first I thought it was just me thinking the eggs looked yellow.  Guess Einstein Joyce figured if she said they were egg whites, that's what viewers would believe.

And eggs scrambled with peppers and sausage should be tasty...but that mess she was shoveling into her gobbler looked ghastly.

I'm always appalled at how most of these pounders shovel the food to tonsil level and seem to barely chew before swallowing it.  It's like they can't transport the food quickly enough to their stomachs.

    Ugh.

It seems like the goal is just to fill up the stomach.  The food isn't in their mouth long enough to know if it tastes good or if there's any taste at all.  It's like they don't recognize that the taste buds are a part of feeling satiated.
