The 'bullet in the head' story turned out differently than I expected. I thought we were going to find out that she tried to shoot her husband and the bullet ricocheted somehow and hit her instead (although I wasn't sure how she could have shot herself in the back of the head). Her husband tried to cover it up when she forgot about being shot (so she wouldn't leave him?). I dunno.
I loved seeing Patricia Belcher as the neighbor. She's good in everything she does.
So she got shot in the back of her head, then what? The husband must have given her his own medical attention until the would cleared up? Then she conveniently lost all memory of it and the bullet did not bother her except for memory loss and headaches. No infection, nothing. Very far fetched.

Wow, this from home show sucks. I'm not a big fan of kids in any sense and I could barely get thru the show without fast forwarding them. This is not the Tonight Show anymore, it's lets suffer thru Jimmy's kids. Terrible.
Where is his home by the way? Probably the Hamptons I would guess. That kitchen cabinet behind him looked like crap. I totally go for shabby chic but that just looked like he found it in dump and never cleaned it.

Did anyone watch this? Why is it called "One Day at a Time"? Nothing like the original. Yes, I realized they "updated" it but it is completely different! There was no son, no grandmother, Schneider is nothing like like the original. Look, go ahead and make a series with these characters but just why name it after a show that bears no resemblance?
The laugh track was so intrusive I could barely stand it.
The kids were annoying as hell.
This should have been on a Disney channel the way it felt. If Disney had Lesbian teenage lovers and a sex starved single mother.

Hardly any posting on this show? Doesn't surprise me. It's not full of idiotic people, annoying brats, bathroom humor. TV takes it cue from the the real world. Trashy. I'm surprised it got a second season being it seems unpopular, although this is HBO where you can at least see programming that is not usual to what the unwashed masses watch. I love my trashy NJ Housewives because they are ridiculous and morons but I need to balance with shows like this.

So Frank is out recovering from back surgery. Isn't this going to put a damper on his carrying and moving heavy items when they resume picking together?
The last show I watched, Danielle and Mike's brother went to some over the hill fan dancers house to buy items that belonged to Sally Rand. I did know who she was because I am interested in old filmography. But $15,000! What else did she get besides the molting fan, the shoes and the letters? Are there many people out there that would want this stuff? And how did her friend afford that house? Holy Shit, it was awesome. I bet she was selling it because she said everything was for sale. Guess it pays to take your clothes off.

Margaret can miss me circling the wagons against Danielle. Suddenly Jen has a “heart of gold” now that Margaret doesn’t want to fight a two-front war? Fight a two-front war, bitch. Teresa fought a four-front war seasons three to five. And they wonder why Teresa owns this franchise!
The stubborn asshole in me wants Teresa to refuse to completely denounce Danielle, because it continues to show Margaret’s weak underbelly in refusing to take a stand against Teresa. Not Margaret the person, but Margaret’s weakness with regard to Teresa, is just as disgusting and ridiculous to me as the notion of Danielle. They’re both so weak in character, have questionable motivations, and will say and do whatever the hell they think will benefit them, without any shame whatsoever.
Danielle is so many horrible things that I can’t fully name them all, but damn, some shit must really have gone down with Margaret’s first marriage that it still keeps getting brought up by her cast mates, even though it happened long before the show. This was no run-of-the-mill divorce. Margaret should stop getting so involved in other people’s marriages. Also...she should stop calling other people Granny. Pot calling kettle, holy shit.
The whole situation surrounding Danielle is so ugly. She is such a damaged woman, and the show keeps picking her up and consensually dragging her every time they need some drama. It’s like that really dysfunctional, disturbed couple who gets drunk and beats the shit out of each other. No one comes out looking like the winner. I don’t think this show is any better than Danielle by continuing to give her a platform from which to spew venom (and then everyone collectively clutches their pearls, which gives them their much-needed hit off the smug, superior peace pipe).
Um, Jacqueline Laurita? Danielle didn’t “prosecute” your daughter; the prosecutor (you know, the one with the power of the state behind them) prosecuted your daughter because your daughter committed a violent crime. Instead of drinking Bailey’s and parading your poor autistic son in front of the cameras, pick up a book, you horrid Easter Island statue of a woman.
I thoroughly disagree with Jennifer that Danielle ratted out Teresa. Melissa accused Danielle of being a bad influence on Danielle. Is Danielle just supposed to sit there and take it? This coming from a woman who instigates a fight between Dolores and Jackie about whether they’re friends on a happy vacation in Jamaica? How is what Jennifer did to Dolores better? I think it’s worse.
Wow, Teresa might want to get a nip or a tuck from Dr Bill. Her ass was looking like a fugly bag of smashed potatoes when she got up to hug Margaret.
Agatha from Aurora (or whatever A-city that viewer was from, whose name Andy kept trying to say when Margaret and Danielle were bickering) literally got more air time than Jackie this installation.
I hate how Andy keeps fetishisizing Teresa’s desire for a Jewish husband. Would this be so titillating to Andy if Teresa said she is intent on marrying a Muslim man? Or a Mexican man? Like most of what is Andy Cohen, his attitude toward this is so hypocritical and sordid.
Theresa has a fat ass and stumpy legs. No amt of exercise will fix it. Maybe they can plastic surgery some fat out of her ass but she'll always have ugly legs. Goes with her ugly heart.

I had forgotten that Ozzy and Sharon were appearing in this episode until they popped up at the end. After all the history-rewriting bullshit of the last few episodes before this, it was nice to focus on other things this time around.
Speaking of which: I can't believe it's been two weeks since we've been here! I've missed you guys! I hope all of you are safe at home. 🙂

It's because she is short, has huge real, breasts that sag, and even an extra 10lbs makes her look "fat". And she has more than 10lbs extra. She needs to reel in those babies too. It was bad on Ghost Whisperer but she was young and thin then. Now it's time for a support bra, minimizer (she can afford a good expensive one), and better fitting clothes. You ain't 25 anymore. It happens to the best of us.

The bit with making Michelle feel needed was predictable (I cheered when Ben finally got those little braids right), but I loved Forrest's weird interaction on the "dad bench" and his emergence as a fashion guru, as well as Wade's conversations with Noah sparking the realization that Wade should go for it, sexually.
It's not the greatest series in the world, and Walton Goggins sometimes feels like he's trying too hard to be the anti-Boyd, but I like the gentle humor and the secondary characters are being fleshed out pretty nicely. I'll keep watching.
I like him better when he is a Boyd like character. 😍This perfect man/dad thing doesn't fit. No danger. And good grief he is so thin. Fit and darn nice but so petite.

I hated that Bob was going to binge eat all that crap because he was upset. And then went back and ate the cake anyway. Why is all that shit in his fridge anyway? He is so obese, had a friggin heart attack not long ago. It makes me sad and angry that he doesn't care about his health. I hope the actor will lose a few pounds also, so unhealthy.

Stefano became obsessed with Rachel and wanted her to leave her husband. Rachel refused. Stefano set their house on fire. I don't remember if it was 100% clear if he tried to kill both of them or just the husband thereby coming in as Rachel's savior. Anyway both of them "died". Hence Stefano adopting Peter and Kristen and them going to live with he and Celeste.
In the Aremid storyline Rachel was revealed to be alive and was the "woman in white". She had PTSD and would roam the old Blake house as a shut in. The town folklore was that she was a ghost.
Anyway Celeste recognizes her she is forced out of hiding and reunites with Kristen and Peter. She also develops a friendship with Marlena. This is the point where Kristen starts to have her mental breakdown and Rachel sort of becomes the Angel on her shoulder versus Stefano as the devil, each of them trying to influence her.
When accompanying Rachel out of town to get reconstructive surgery to fix her scars from the fire Marlena was kidnapped by Stefano their plane went down and Rachel was killed. Thus entered the middle phase of Kristen losing her mind.
Fun fact: When John was a young priest he was planted in Aremid at the same time by Stefano of course and became friends with Rachel.
Damn I miss the storytelling of the 90's.

I for one would like to see all of them as they REALLY are. No excess. I also imagine they fancy themselves up to do anything, even a simple trip to the store (as if.....). I always like my low key, low maintenance looks so much better after I watch any of these housewives show. I can not imagine the need to primp so much.
And the lighting director for the reunion did them no favors. 😛
My thoughts exactly. These women must have makeup subscriptions delivered by Amazon Prime by the boxful every month. I don't know how they can even open their eyes with the 2lb fake lashes. The face make up, besides being ORANGE, was way too thick. They could pass for Drag Queens. The look is not good. I don't live in NJ but I'm betting there are lots of women who are pissed at these clown faced fame whores representing their state. Their is such a thing as subtle beautiful make up. I hate these bitches but I love to watch.

It's not husky, it's throaty. Scarlett Johannsen and Kathleen Turner are husky. Shakira and Kim Wexler are throaty. They both sound like a cross between a human woman and Kermit the Frog.
It is driving me crazy. Always has. Why why why does she wear that 5 year old girl pony tail. It bothers me so much it's unhealthy! It looks ridiculous, silly, juvenile. Get a woman's hair style!! Is there a reason for this? Just to drive us females viewers crazy?!
